I work at a dealership as a salesman and whenever a customer needs to take the night to think about the vehicle I always recommend them to check out your channel because you give the greatest in depth reviews of anyone I've watched. You've sold quite a few cars for me â„ïž

I love this color!!! Excellent review and cinematography as well.
That Lunar Rock color looks good on the 22 Tundra. Also thanks for showing us the actual infotainment. Rather than showing up the Apple / Android interface.
You are so very welcome! I appreciate you letting me share it with you!
And like everything else, Audi did it first
Now every brand has a greenish/blue slate color
@@RaitisRides plz make review of Ford F-150 lightning âĄâĄâĄ
Lunar Rock is sick. Imagine Lunar Rock with the TRD Proâs red, leather interior!!!đȘš đŽđ€©
It looks like a spaceship with those tinted windows
I own a 2021 F-150 and while I do love the truck, I can't help but want the new TRD Pro. Each truck has its positives and negatives, I really don't think you can go wrong anymore...but for me, that Red interior is what sold me.
Which is better in your opinion dodge trx or tundra or ford hybrid all 2022đđ
I applaud and appreciate your channel for bringing variety and not just loaded versions all the time...
Thanks
I love that the 3.5TT V6 is STANDARD! That is a nice powerful engine to come standard. I can't wait to see aftermarket tunes for the engine
Probably built like a tank too. I'm guessing 500hp is going to be easy.
Turbo equals more problems and undoubtably your engine wears out faster and thereâs nothing you can do about it besides keeping the boost down so thatâs a negative. But god weâre gonna love the power you get while having the engine and a tune for sure đ€đŒ
I have a 2011 f150 with 230k miles as my work truck, it was the first year for the 3.5 ecoboost, havenât had any issues and Iâve only done scheduled oil changes .
Never ever thought Iâd be considering a Toyota for my first truck. Iâve been dead set saving up for an F150. But the more 2022 tundra videos of yours I watch, the more Iâm liking this tundra and considering buying one. I think all it will come down to in the end is price
Tundra is traditionally cheaper than Ford.
@@gabrielcarrasco8414 cheaper???
@@timothyfawks2437 At least previously. The highest end Models of Tundra were about the same price of a mid tier Ford. So around 50k. Fords highest end models easily hit 70k or more.
Buy the Ford or gmc. Way better trucks
@@grahamstefaan Ford Gmc better when new long run Toyota
Iâm hoping more people will begin to realize how awesome these 3.5 twin turbo engines are. I have a 2020 F150 and itâs a beast. Super efficient when I haul heavy loads. I havenât had the opportunity to tow yet. But they engine so far has done everything Iâve asked it to do. Really liking this Tundra.
Got a 2017. Love it. Great truck. Iâm a mechanic and we do everything at my shop; tundra is a close second in my opinion.
Joe, I don't know how Lori manages to keep the camera steady sometimes with your cornball humor and snack food jokes, all delivered straight up, and which are actually funny đ(and original). Kudos to Lori! đž
You missed the chance to call that rock in the console a lunar rock and say it comes standard with the color.
Lori does such a bang up job! That was such a missed opprtunity!
'cause humor and jokes are dry up fast. That was she said đđđ
Nice. Real nice. Great video Lori & Joe!
Donât worry about the lack of armrest and connectivity in the backseat. Just judging by the SR5 TRD package, that backseat was designed for the overlander dog owner in mind. Id say you can fit 2 full sized German Shepards & an Australian Sheepdog back there
TO THE DOOR PANELS!!!! Is always my fave part of every video! It's where the in depth part starts.. I always have to know how many twinkies I can fit in each compartment it's invaluable information!
Thatâs so awesome Alex! Thanks for letting me share this with you!

Loving these reviews on pick-up trucks especially on the tundra. Never was a pick-up truck guy but seeing these reviews I want to get a truck. Great job Joe and Lori behind the camera. đ
They really nailed it! The tundra definitely has the most modern up to date interior design for trucks right now!
It's funny how the base model actually looks the best out of all the trims I've seen. I hate chrome and I hate gaudy badges.
I just wish they would color match the black portion of the front bumper below.
This is the exact model and color I want when I get back from deployment next yr
Smart move Toyota anything is definitely worth the money and theyâll last a lifetime.
Thanks for your service!
Love this truck!!! Joe you do a great job on all your videos, you always give a great thorough tour of every vehicle!! Love your videos! đđŒđđŒ
Thanks David for taking the time to say that!
I love that the dahs is mostly analog. Keeps thing looking simple
As always, your reviews are on point and informative. Thanks for doing what you do!
Does the rear glass still slide down? One of my favorite option from the tundras. Thanks for the review!
Yes, on crew cabs, not the smaller double cab.
Waited forever to buy the new Toyota and ended up buying the 2021 f150 XLT. Couldnât be happier.
I love your reviews man! Keep up the good work
Gotta say, love how it looks. Got a few years till I upgrade but one of these used is definitely gonna be a big contender. Personally idk if it would look good with Lunar Rock, but I really liked the red color with the magnetic fender flares that they had at the reveal.
Will be honest though, one big "zonk"(half zonk?) for me is the underseat storage. Love having it, and love the amount of storage it gives you, but one thing Ford did better with it imo was having it able to fold flat when you're not using it, like when you have something bulky you need in the back, but don't wanna put in the bed(idk, tv or something?)
Totally agree with you about the underseat storage. It would have been much better with a completely flat floor without the storage.
Another great video, Joe! We appreciate the non-biased content. You deliver it how it is. Itâs hard for me to take channels like âpick-up truck +suv talkâ seriously because Tim is so partial to Ford. Itâs like listening to a Ford employee doing a review of other car brands đ€Šđ»ââïž
Thanks for saying that! I appreciate you letting me share m car passion with you!
He is very bias Iâve noticed that too
Great video as always! I have the 18 Trd sport, love the truck.
This Would be a nice change
Great job Raitiâs Rideđ
And shouts out to the camera đ„ operator. âKudosâ
That's it....im getting the SR5 TRD 4x4 off road.
I think I'll get the 8in screen.
So glad they used a regular shifter unlike that stupid folding lever the F150 has that's already breaking or not working smoothly.
I really hope the prices isn't stupid like $70k just for an SR5.
That takes balls to put a rock inside the cab of toyotas new truck. I'm sure they watched that part and said....there better not be a single scratch in there.
@Seymore Facts me too but they will definitely be more than last gen, look at the tacomas over 50k fully loaded
Agreed. With the powertrain and some select features in mind, I immediately assumed they'd price these similar to the competing bands. Hope not tho cause getting a V8 previous gen for sub 40k was pretty cool.
Ford comes nowhere near Toyotas quality and reliability. If they undercut Ford. they will definitely sell a lot of âem. However if they are same price IDk
Same, bro đ€đ€
Right there with you. Love it. If I can get this exact truck for 50k or less, it's going to be super tempting.
Love this truck đ Toyota's trucks are my favourite trucks on the road today đ„ I always thought of grabbing one in the future, but I'd probably settle for a Tacoma since it's a bit smaller đ
My suggestion would be go for a 2012-15 Tacoma with the 4.0V6. It's a tried and true engine with alot of power and reliability. Look for the TRD Sport trim. I've had one 2012 TRD Sport 4x4, spruce green and gold pearlescent coating had it since show room new. 200K miles and no issues. Still on the original drums in the rear and 2nd set if disc's up front. Perfect truck.
The Tacoma is a bottom feeder today. I would skip it today!
+2 on the 2.5 gen Tacomaâs (2012-2015). Best generation of Tacoma. Do not make the mistake of buying the turd gen. The gearing is off, Toyota focused way too much on fuel economy and it just hunts for gears on hills. Cabin is smaller on the 3rd gen as well
My 2018 4Runner sr5 has the 4.0 v6 just like the Tacoma. I love that thing.
@@abdullahmahmood3040 yeah, the current Tacoma gets a 51 out of 100 and is not recommended by Consumer Reports.

I agree. Sounds like Toyota hired this guy. Geez.
This video is sponsored by Toyota. Do you think anyone cares about all the Toyota logos ? This guy makes sure he points every one of them out. Do you think we care about how it compares to the F150 at every feature? No. But Toyota does. Do you think he got a chance to review a preproduction model and it didn't influence his opinion at all ? Of course it did. I wouldn't be surprised off he got lunch with them and they talked about what they wanted to see out of the video. Waste of ti e

One thing I donât understand is all this âpre productionâ stuff. I find it hard to believe that Toyota is shipping these out to dealers in two months yet they donât have any models that arenât currently pre production????
They just say that in case thereâs any inconsistencies but in reality they donât want to waste a good truck being man handled

YESSS the hotdog holder!!! i am solddddd......
Went to the state fair and finally saw the new tundra trd pro and the 1794. They look fantastic. Itâs not a on your face kind of truck. Its more sophisticated than I thought it would be. In some angles in photos, the hood looks long, but if you see it in person, itâs portioned right. I also got to see the zr2 Silverado. If you want a on your face type of truck, zr2 is the one for you.
Depends entirely on the price! Keep it around $45k for a fully loaded SR5 4x4 crew cab, and I think youâll get a hell of a truck for the money. Really love that all the safety tech and LEDs are standard!
Its gonna be 40-45k watch and that's perfect
That would be killer deal, but with all the techs. I have a feeling a loaded SR5 might be in the $48-50k range. If you notice all the 2020 Toyota that has the âStandard Safety Senseâ are all $1500 more than previous years where Safety Sense was only on the top of the line trim.
If thatâs the case then Iâm saying bye to my Tacoma đ€Ł
@@tigerbiterhater yeah but you never know, the current â21 SR5 4x4 crewmax is $43k with a few options on the side, so $45k may be a possibility. I mean even $50k would still be a good deal compared to the F150 XLT for example, which is $55k with all the desirable options
@@jakes5530 agree. $45k loaded like the one here is a deal. Pretty sure itâll be waiting list for one and knowing dealers. Thereâs gonna be mark up even on SR5 trim.

I saw that 16.7mpg on the 14â screen. If thatâs city and off road driving, itâs definitely an improvement over the prior generation

Don't like that black insert on the front bumper it distorts the grill design
