    Very nice looking gun and I also like their full size guns , I think yours will lay the clear down beautifully

      Hi Roger, I haven't seen much of their larger guns to be honest, I thought I would get one of these because they are quite similar to the W101 and Kiwami1 Iwata which I really like, I took a chance on the fitment of the cup being the same as the Iwatas and luckily enough it was so only needed the gun, they are really well made so really looking forward to using it, cheers mate 👍

    Hi Pete, another great video, no need to rush mate when taking the gun apart remember we are all sitting here enjoying the video with a nice cup of tea 😀. Seriously I do know how you feel when your on camera you feel rushed into doing things, im not sure why that is but you just do sometimes. Cheers mate see you in the next one. Steve.

      Thanks Steve, It's really funny, as you say you feel the need to rush, i think get as much information out as possible, I clean my guns throughout after each use so are always taking them apart and never take the tip off before the needle yet put a camera on my head and i do, looking forward to using this as it looks so well made, cheers buddy 👍

      @@peteshobbies5383 It is strange everything goes out the window when you involve a camera. The gun looks fantastic and the fine threads on the knobs are a very nice touch. Interesting that these both have a hook arrangement on the top you could almost say it’s a copy of the other. I have to kus myself if I start to undo the tip before pulling the needle back out take it out altogether, like you I strip the gun and give it a good clean after each use then put it back together for a final rinse with thinners, note sure if this is necessary but makes me feel better 😁 cheers mate.

    Looks a nice gun Pete, it's difficult for the viewer to tell if it's good quality but you can tell it's good when you removed the air cap it seemed to come of very easily plus I couldn't hear the usual rattle as unscrewed very smoothly, overall it's a nice looing gun so look forward to your review 👍

    Hi Pete
    Where did you see that gun “Knock Garage”?
    That’s the only place I’ve seen one.
    Question.If you were to rate your best clearcoat gun & best basecoat gun bar none irrespective of price, which two guns would you pick” for motorcycles”?
    I know you have a wealth of gun testing.
    The thing is buying cheaper guns to see if they could do the same job ends up costing alot more,than just buying the best two.😳

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  Před 2 lety

      Hi Mate, never heard of Knock Garage so wasn't there, I found them on ebay, I search all the time for different sprayguns, just to see if anyone is selling something i may want and came across these.
      I really like the Japanese stuff and really like my Kiwami1 Iwatas because of the side cups and this is very similar so thought i would get one to have a look.
      To be honest i probably wouldn't have bothered because i thought 1.6 was a bit big for clear but i have a set of purple cap Kiwami1 which are the same as these in that you have a 1.4 for base and a 1.6 for clear and that works well so knew it's should be fine.
      If your talking tanks and fairings, side panels and front mudguards on bikes i would go for a full size gun these days, they make it so easy and give a great finish especially for clearcoat.
      If i was to pick one of each regardless of price for clear i would really struggle in choosing between the Sagola 4600 Xtreme DVR Clear, the Sata 5500x "0" and the Walcom 360 Carbonio, i normally pick the Sagola because it's cheaper but as i say i would struggle if price was not a worry.
      For base i would go the Sagola 4600 Xtreme Aqua even with solvent or the DV1 base with the B+ cap, both are really good base guns

      @@peteshobbies5383 Thanks for that comprehensive reply, really appreciate it.
      Knock Garage is a CZcams channel like you & they use that gun.
      Been looking at the kiwami after watching your vid but already have a Bellaria 400 Classic.
      My favourite gun for clear is my Sata 3000rp 1.3 it’s fast but got used to it.👍

    Hii pete, im looking for mini gun for clearcoating, which one do you prefer between : sata minijet, devilbiss sri pro lite, and walcom ego 190 carbonio. Thank you before..

    • @peteshobbies5383
      @peteshobbies5383  Před 2 lety

      Hi Buddy, It would depend on what you want to do with it as to what i would recommend, of the three you mentioned the 190 is probably the best gun but is also the most expensive, the Sri is the best value for money, I'm not overly keen on the Sata, I really like there full size guns but the Minijet falls a bit short imo.
      Let me know what your main use will be and I'll try and help more, cheers 👍

    • @peteshobbies5383

      If finish is your main priority I would suggest the DV1s or LPH80, they both atomise really fine but are slower especially the LPH80 as it has a small fan but they give really good results partially the DV1s but it's very expensive

      Hi Dean, I've used the Iwata equivalent that is in the video which is also a 1.6 and it works really well, it's quite a wet pattern but being a mini gun it's perfectly controllable, that set has a 1.4 for the base which is the case with these Meijis as well, it's so well made though, i was really surprised
