I'm 45 1/2 years old and just now learning makeup tricks by watching tutorials. I have never, in my life seen blush applied like this to the center of the apple and up into the bottom eye lash line, then bronzer to contour for that St.Tropez look... I can totally see Kate Moss' look when this is done. I love it and will try to master the technique myself. I also love the technique of slanting the eyeliner and applying it to the lower lash line. often I don't get the blended look that I was trying for because I didn't get the color into the eyelash roots. Now I know how to do it and blend, blend, 'blend! Love makeup tutorials. no longer will I not know how to do makeup, I always wore it, probably just didn't do it well enough to enhance my own looks. This image here of me is without a stitch of makeup. I had just washed my face, my hair is dirty and I wanted to capture how I look without makeup so I could use one of those online apps that takes your image and does the makeup for you. Like Marie Claire or some fashion rag I read somewhere that had the free app. So anyways, btw, this was taken on my camera phone without any filters or lighting tricks. It was a fluke as they call it. capturing my natural look. I think this is one of the best pictures of myself, I am not photogenic at all. I think using the makeup tools I will learn may help me look and feel pretty. For once in my life. Yay, CZcams and especially these pro makeup artists showing us the tricks of the trade. Thanks!

I like that this makeup really, truly looked like makeup that Bardot wore, instead of the generic liquid liner looks most often seen! Great job!
To the personwondering why Mary barely blended the orange bronzer: i thought tht was genius. Brigitte blended even less throughout her career and had a far more orange and obvious bronzer. Also overall Brigitte was far more heavy-handed on every makeup item, and Mary kept this comparitively elegant. She didn't overdraw the lips for example.

This is the makeup i used to do 10 years ago: smokey eyes, black khol pencil, bronzer and nude glossy lips
I prefer Brigitte's make up from the late 50's to mid 60's; it was more about the cat eyeliner than the smokey eye. I mean her make up in the late 60's was pretty much the same, just more smoked out. Although I love her hair in the late 60's.

The website wrote that she used Mystic eyes quad which appears to be wrong. I believe she said Mystere quad which looks more like the one she held up.. Mystic eyes is more brown with a pink.

That concealer looked waaay to yellow for her skin tone.

TheDodgerReid using this kind of a colour helps to conceal the darker purple and blue hues that occur naturally in the under eye region :)
Even tho she's very pale we can see warm tones on her skin so it can be used
Step 1. Look like Brigitte/Hannah ie, a blonde goddess.
She needs to draw the eyeline a little more and a lipliner, just like B.B. used to do.
I love her work as a make up artist but chanel primer le blanc irritated my skin and, sometimes products don't work for everybody.
