Who would have thought to do a specific look for Halloween, but which isnt way out there. Absolutely intriguing. Now there's a gothic look of the highest beauty! Mary Greenwell is in a class by herself as a makeup artist and as a person. With the hair straight back in the Before the model looked like the gorgeous models in the robert palmer iconic video "Addicted to Love."
I love how she talks to the camera as if she has a room full of people in front of her and shes having a conversation with them on what shes doing

Mary did that so well. Amazing but I like the model's hair straight and not fluffed up messily. The make up is more effective with the hair in the Before. Intriguing makeup. Not using the mascara really created the unique haunted look. Beautiful. What an amazing look for a Halloween party when you don't want to wear a costume.

I'm so mesmerized by how the layering of the black eyeshadow and the golden yellow eyeshadow creates a greenish effect. Can anyone explain? or is it the eyeshadow itself creating that effect?
I believe it's because it is a more green toned yellow rather than an orange toned one and the black deepens up the colour a lot, dark yellow looks very green
+simin yang Well I am a painter and if you mix black with yellow you get like a olive kinda green. Of course more yellow than black and if you see the creme eyeshadow ombre is very light not jet black so I guess thats why :)

How does she go about cleaning her concealer wands and mascara wands? It's unlikely she is purchasing new products for every client she uses, other than giving a touch-up bag to clients.
Chanel probably gave her those products for this video and for the other ones too. It's free advertising for them and probably not from Mary's kit.
I like the artist I just wonder why all her products are always by Chanel. Is she a spokesperson for them or something?

Pl work on ordinary looking models. Your models are already exceptional ...even without makeup...perfect skin, so darkness or wrinkles...n so young...there is no challenge at all to your make up brand Chanel or to your skills.
I feel like Mary can only do makeup on girls that have very clear, pale skin... Never seen her do a look on a darker skinned model! (And by dark-skinned I don't mean tanned -_-)

The lip is really pretty; the eyes not so much.
I'd heard people raving about Mary and have watched a lot of her tutorials now,..and I have to say, Im not impressed. It feels like arty farty style over substance. Most times she seems to overdo, make a bit of a mess, call it fabulous,..and tries to get away with it. She manhandles models like they were pieces of meat,.. and the 'Eccentric posh Englishwoman' character is not doing anything for me. Nope not impressed at all. Lots of hype around this lady for very little talent that I can see.
