Harmonic current causes additional heating of the transformer and cabling to the VFD, which reduces the capacity of the cable and transformer. An ac line reactor or dc link reactor (dc choke) is used to mitigate the impact of harmonics in VFD applications

Sir iam not able to run an inverter ac on a 5kva sine wave inverter. Inverter transformer is vibrating even at 900 watts and the PF was 83. I had tested resistive load of more than 2000 watts on this inverter. is there anything to do with harmonics, since its an inverter ac which has vfd like thing? also kindly provide the solution. Thanks..

We have Siemens drive it's showing Contintinuty between R and Y phase in coming side of vfd
Mostly short circuit ho gaya hoga dono phase ka coils.
Can you telling me what is the reason when motor stat so input choke very noisy it's choke problem or any problem in vfd
Due to high inrush current at starting it happens. But most cases it should not happen.

VFD ka main components hai IGBT wo input DC signal ko pulse width modulated sine wave signal me convert kar deta hai which is nearly perfect sinusoidal power waveform.

Maine practically esa observe nai kiya.
Generally, Humming sound motor me single phasing k chalte aata h.
VFD me humming sound may be high frequency me esa hone ka changes h because of the raising the switching frequencies.
Sir mujhe agar choke ko check karna hai ki vo thik hai ki nahin usko kaise check karoonga multimeter se
Choke, inductor hota hai, ar usko Multimeter se check karna h too uska resistance check kar sakte h. Teeno choke me same resistance hona chahiye
