So often you hear football managers say all the right things, and you know they're just telling the fans what they want to hear. There's something different about this man though. The most excited I've been to be a Wolves fan for a long long time.
He has a very tough task ahead, if he can help us stay in the premier league this year and build the team confidence he will have been very successful. He is the right man for this job COYW

At my time in life, I'm not sure that I could go through another relegation. When I heard him say 'The strength of the wolf is in the Pack' it brought tears to my eyes. Please, please, please Julen help us to stay up and progress. I don't want much in life but as Stan Cullis said, 'I only had one life and I gave mine to the Wolves'. Wolves ay we.

You have to be exited about this appointment he comes across a very experienced and humble man and I think he will have this team playing great football again like the great times under Nuno.
Yes he has a massive task in turning this around but he has plenty of time to work with the player's while the World cup is taking place and to add in the Jan window

When Guillem tells a coach "now go and show them how good you are" you know we have a special coach here. You don't win the Europa League, coach one of the best teams in the world or one of the best nations by being average. This is the same guy who have Ruben his debut and worked so well at younger levels. He knows how to coach, he knows how to win, now, he has to make the players believe. Buena suerte Julen
Rarely has a new Wolves manager impressed me so much from the first inrterview and shown an already engaging but tough personality. Hopefully the perfect fit for us.

Never felt warmth or a buzz for a manager like when i listened to Nuno's first interview as head coach than this guy, just something about him that gives me tremendous hope. Not felt like this in a very long time. Welcome Julen the pack will embrace you. FWAW!

What I get listening to this guy is a quiet confidence, a belief and an ethic of work progress which can only bring good things to wolves. I think his style and knowledge of the game is of the very highest order and he will be great for us.

With Fosun's incredible resources, an elite manager like Julen Lopetegui and some world class players already in this squad, there is no reason why Wolves can't emulate Newcastle. Yes, the squad is currently massively underperforming but they still have 23 games to turn thing's around. Julen Lopetegui is a winner and won't let these players just show up, they will have to play their socks off. There won't be any passengers under Mr Lopetegui. Fosun will back the new coach to the hilt in the transfer window. Another 4 world class players and this team will improve massively. I have no doubt that Julen Lopetegui will turn thing's around. The only way is up.
So much hope, very well spoken, honest man I am sure given time and a couple of signings he will get us back on track.

I am really loving his positive mental attitude he's a guy I know full well will bring something out these players whilst also adding to the squad and bringing in the sort of players to compliment not only his style but also the players already in the squad, I can't wait till people finally get to see the full potential of this squad including the likes of Nunes, Neves Bueno and so on, I believe he is the man to change things
he does have a challenge ahead of him but he looks like the sort of guy who will thrive in this sort of challenge put before him, good luck Lope the wolfpack is firmly behind you

He’s a real people person, the reactions with the players when he met them showed that. Getting the players on side with his methods and strategies ( Lage had lost them ) will be huge in getting us playing as we can and moving up the league. A few new signings will help……👍

I am very impressed with Julen after this interview. He seems genuinely confident and knowledgeable without being flashy. He also seems the type who won't stand for slacking and less than 100% which many players have been guilty of this season. He seems capable of listening but also not the type to stand fools easily. His English is already very good - certainly good enough to get his views over strongly - but he still strives to improve his communication skills, so he's sure not lazy. I'm certain he will do well...I sure hope he will!

With Lopetegui Spain had a chance of winning the WC in 2018. Spain played excellent football under Lopetegui. The Spanish federation fired him days before said WC because he had signed a contract for after the WC with Real Madrid. Total unjustice with karma: Spain lost on penalties to Russia. Later at Real Madrid Julen had footballers who were spoiled brats, totally different breed to Wolves`s players. Good luck to Wolves. Impressive atmosphere, stadium and fans. He just needs to get us to 17th this season. No fooling around. Next season we can develop his footballing ideology, but we cannot get relegated.
The very best of luck, Julen. We're all delighted to have you at our club. A lot of work ahead, but I vehemently believe that we have far more quality in our ranks than has been exhibited thus far.
This is also an appointment six years in the making. Let's hope Julen can get us back to where we were not so long ago, fighting for Europe. It's an arduous road ahead, but I believe he can get us there. Maybe a few of the Madrid lads he worked with might fancy making the move...! I'd take Benzema as a handy option off the bench 😂😂😂
Good luck Julen, You have a hell of a task ahead of you. A couple of acquisitions in January should help you along the way. If by season's end Wolves finish top 10, the fans should be satisfied.

I think it’s a bit premature to say the survival chances are slim at this stage Steve! There’s still 23 games left and we’re only 4 points off! But true the form has been crap so far!
There’s still half a season left and points r very close together at the bottom but we do need 2 turn things around and get back to the Nuno days

Not even the winning side of things just playing in a certain way and a little effort would be a big thing , can take two or three losses at the start of his reign as-long as the football is better , from how he talks I’m massively confident

I just hope that this isn't pie in the sky as we've had with so many others promising the world.
Wolves are in a desperate situation and everybody around us (actually above us) can smell blood. No manager will get a tune out of this present squad without three top quality players being added - including two strikers.
Yet I can't see us getting two guaranteed Premier League ready goalscorers because they will surely go elsewhere.
Keep us up and try get the caraboa cup under our belt here some teams that look very winable il be honest and you can never predict games Burnley could walk the park against united so unpredictable so I wouldn’t put it past us to go far
