Inverse bleeding is the cause of endometriosis, also. The blood contains stem cells meant to regenerate uterine lining and support vagina health. You shouldn't use tampons or cups, which stifle the release of blood. Use overnight pads, if necessary, but stay away from products that misdirect the flow. When the flow is blocked from it's natural route, it's like messing up the plumbing, it will spill into the wrong areas.

Typically I would have to heavily medicate myself to sleep in order to handle the pain and I would vomit at least 2x. I literally didn’t have to take meds and I didn’t vomit even though I was a little nauseous. Also I stopped using tampons a few years back and that has also made a world of difference. Also in Iran i was very physically active and did sports while being a masters student and at the same time i always found time for sports. while during the phd i spent countless hours sitting in the lab in front of the pc. When i changed this style and diet, prepared mostly healthy vegan food (no flour, no pasta, no rice, no coffee, etc) and took my meals from home to the uni, and also took green tea with me (i bought boiler for the lab and some green tea, soon all phd students started drinking tea instead of coffee😅) and started doing yoga for being at least somehow active, in just 1 month all exams were cleared. The doctor unfortunately wouldnt want to know why and how! Anyways i got pregnant right when i finished my phd. ☺️
Oh by the way, during the phd i had skin issues, acne, hair loss, etc, all disappeared withing 2-3 months after this change of diet. and also i became very very very energetic. I slept well and when i woke i did not need coffee any more. So coffee addiction was resolved.

What the doctor is saying is so true. Since I became vegan a few years ago, my severe period pains are a thing of the past. I don't even feel anything different until it actually starts, absolutely no pain, no bloating, nothing. That was an unexpected bonus of the vegan diet. Like the lady he mentioned, O had such aweful pains during periods. I suffered from fibroids at one point, which is very close to endometriosis. The pain went completely away when I stopped eating animal products. Anytime I add more oily food to my diet (e.g. peanut butter), I have some pain during my period, but not as painful as it used to be before I went vegan.

I have endo and had the most painful periods and actually had constant stomach pain....... I am a registered dietitian, and I found Keto completely dissolved the pain, when I gave up gluten and sugar!! Completely opposite of what you're recommending. Quit sugar everyone..... I eat fish and dairy and oils daily. I used to have to take off work because of stomach pain and also period pain. As long as I avoid any food triggers (sugar/gluten) I feel great.

Now I get a lot of pain and UTI's along with yeast infections.

You have given me more information in this video than any FEMALE doctor I've had. Even nutritionists they had me speak with didn't inform me the way you have. I suffer from endometriosis. I was just given prescription after prescription due to heavy bleeding and long cycles. I stopped taking anything just because it made everything worse. Thank you for sharing what you know. I will start incorporating what you have said into my diet. Fyi. I LOVE cheese! 😬

If you decide to go vegan, pay close attention to the changes in color, consistency and flow of your period blood. My period blood turned dark reddish brown and it had lots of clots. This lasted over a year while vegan. Went back to animal foods and went back to normal. Period blood should be bright red, consistency a little thicker than water and not too heavy.

I’m a 50/50 junk food and healthy foods vegan who eats too much oil and sugar. I also drink lots of coffee and drink alcohol in moderation. I’ve been vegan for 4 years. When I first went vegan, I was very health conscious and my period pain went away completely. But after being a junk food vegan, my pain is back! My periods are more red and heavier than they were before I went plant based. I don’t think diet really makes a difference when it comes to blood color/consistency but I do think higher inflammatory foods are contributing to my pain. I think everyone’s hormonal levels are different and can vary each cycle due to stress/diet/sleeping habits. It’s multi factorial. Also age is probably a factor. I need to go back to being more disciplined in my oil/sugar/alcohol consumption and I KNOW it will help me to manage my pain. I don’t really want to take hormonal birth control because the blood clot risk is high. Hang in there and I hope you all find a way of life that helps you feel better.

I went keto and ate mostly animals foods and my period cramps stopped. I also achieved weight loss and improvement in memory and concentration. When I was vegan before that, it made my symptoms worse. Vegan for 2.5 years and suffered throughout it. On keto I ate a lot of cheese and animal fat (no milk because it contains amylase). When I cut carbs and removed sugars all my health problems stopped.

Yes. I found that part awkward. A plate should consist of veggies anyways so the fibers are there from them, who cares if chicken doesn't have fibers. That's why we need to eat different food, you won't find something alone that meets your needs. Meat sits in your gi system for longer, but that's not the point.

I’m not vegan however there are times in my life when I haven’t gone vegan before.
I see the benefits in a plant-based eating plan and I recommend that to everyone.
I eat small amounts of animal product without much problem.
I also see the value in limiting oil intake.
Everyone was 90% plant-based or even 80% plant-based, it would be a game changer for many people. There’s too much reliance today I’m highly processed foods and factory farmed animal products that are made from animals that eat a highly inflammatory diet.
This is just my opinion and I hope you all take care.
