He clearly mentioned the fact that he denies that the quran itself has holes in the narrative, he said ahuzubillah that he would never think like that. Than he cleared things up. He has been known for double talks. He would say something in one video and then say completely opposite to that in another video. In general, his speech is never crystal clear. I have listened to his lectures and listened to him in-person. And I was like why did we pay 5k for this? And this was long before he came up with Sajda on grave being haram concept. Before you ask, I may not have a PHD from an Islamic University but I have a functioning brain. Alhamdulillah. And I think people should not waste time to defend or dig more on YQ, we can do much better with this time.

The tawassul through the Prophet SAW quote of ibn Taymiya has to be understood in context as the Sheikh said. You can make tawassul through your love of the Prophet SAW like the 3 in the cave did when they made tawassul by means of their good actions, and that is because loving the Prophet is an act of worship that brings you close to Allah. That is different then tawassul by means of asking the Prophet SAW after his death which is something none of the companions did though his grave was right there in Medina.
Sometimes you will come across people who constantly have something negative or sarcastic to say and their language is always criticism no matter what you do. These types often have an ego and attention seeking problem, perhaps from childhood issues. It’s about them, not you. You will find they are quick to get on board the cancel culture as well. They often have little to no positive contribution to anything except destruction and pointing out only the faults. If they compliment it’s because they have something to gain out of it for themselves, and have a cult mentality. Allah says to deal with these types of people in the following way: ‘وأعرض عن الجاهلين' ‘Avoid engaging with the ignorant (those who lack character and morals)’. Do not give them the attention they crave for. But make du’a for them: ‘May Allah guide them.’
Yasir Qadhi was just at this conference "RIS 2023" in Toronto Canada. He's dug his heels in and has completely become an Omar Suleiman "compassionate" Imam type. RIS was a conference full of musical performances, complete freemixing, Sufi and Secular Islamic speakers, politics (far left obviously) and just an absolute mess. Yasir Qadhi is gone, sold all his years of Orthodox Islamic learning for a piece of this dunya.
I am actually feeling good for Omar Sulaiman. Obviously he is an innovator who shouldn't be taken from, but for the most part, after his major errors from a while back he has remained quiet. Haven't been hearing much from him lately. But Yasir Qadhi, he is the head innovator of our times. When I think of stereotypical Muslim who quivers at his colonial overlord, I couldn't imagine anyone other than Qadhi coming to mind.

"Sahih International 39:3: Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever. This is shirk to the highest degree, why call the dead person for help when the dead person can’t even help themselves? It is like asking an inanimate object (idols) for help, they can’t do anything! Whether you believe the dead person is divine or not is completely irrelevant! You are calling on something that can not help nor harm you when you are only supposed to call out to Allah alone. This is dangerous and very scary. And Allah Himself said He will preserve the Quran so this needs to be accepted as the truth.
@confidential6802 So the ahruf have holes in the narrative as you have confirmed - it means that any harf of the Quran has holes in the narrative therefore we can not be sure that the qiraat that we are reciting is 100% authentic because the harf which the qiraat is based upon has holes in it - same thing bro, you just want to make it appear unproblematic. Many Muslims and Scholars are not that dumb to react negatively to what he said about the reliability of the Quran if what he said can be interpreted otherwise. As regards his shirk aqidah, you rightly confirmed it here that it depends on whether you take that dead person as God - it is exactly the same argument made by the pagans of Makkah. They don't make their idols as God like Allah, they only invoke/worship them to get closer to Allah, read Surah Az-Zumar ayah 3. You might ask, what about so many mullahs and sheikhs with their PHDs and degrees. I would say again read the Quran sincerely, and later ahadees too, you will be able to recognize who is on the right path. You will have that special sight as a gift from Allah Subhanahu Wataa'la. InshaAllah. Do not worry!
Assalam aleykoum in my opinion Imam Karim should call Dr Qadir and speak to him in private, not talking about him in public, this is not our Sunna which teaches to protect the honor of a Muslim brother and not to attack him all the time in public. Imam Qadir is loved and listened by many Muslims, he has not responded to the accusations of Imam Karim whom i love too. This is so far beyond what can be handled in private. Yasir made his statements publicly and then refused to back down. At this point it has to be made public. Plus, it was one of his own students asking the question.

If there comes a group of people whom we know, by the way they dress & speak, belong to this strand of Islam that does tawasul, do we allow them to enter the mosques? Or do we disallow them given what the shaikh has said, the line has been drawn? I don't know about US but in my country, they are influential people & hold high positions in religious councils. A lot of people can teach a layman but they are not always right. He has said some questionable things which need criticising. If you truly want to learn then learn from those that are not controversial and strong on the haqq.

The first things Ive found about him is that 1.he is not humble but brags a lot about his achievements. 2. He has doubted if the quran is authentic/preserved in its original form. 3. He has doubted juj&majuj being real while they are mentioned in quran. 4. He is far from being staunch against the liberalisation of islam instead he is one of those who invites it. 5. He has been associated with a lot of bad names which I dont want to mention. Let me tell you that there are a lot of muslims who have done a lot of good but we should not neglect when they do clear errors in islam as it can lead a lot of people astray. Im not comparing him to this but as you may know a lot of people became muslim after 9/11 but that doesnt mean we are only gonna look one way and refuse to look the other. Good can come out of bad but we should not mix them and we should only seek those whose dawah is clear and uncompromising. May Allah guide us all.

Shaykh Karim Abu Zaid's book may be satisfying the Najdi hizb, but not a truth seeking Muslim, because Shaykh YQ already addressed such najdi arguments
He was very clear on what he meant. He said that historically there have been 3 positions on asking dua at the grave on Nabi SAW. 1. It’s shirk 2. It’s haram 3. It’s halal. His position is that it’s #2 haram because nabi is in the grave already and it’s a slippery slope to ask for dua at this point. But he also says don’t say it’s shirk bc it’s also a very dangerous opinion that has serious repercussions to the ummah. He gave an example where people start condemning others calling them munafiq kafir etc and killing !
Asking dua on the Nabi SAW grave (I believe this is the grave worship issue?) is shirk point blank. Allah swt is explicitly clear that only He can be worshipped and there are no making dua to something else including our Nabi SAW for it to reach Allah swt. “Don’t say it’s shirk because it is a dangerous opinion”, believing it is not shirk is even a more severely dangerous opinion that can take you to Jahannam eternally. May Allah truly guide us because this is terrifying.
But shirk is shirk. Truth doesn’t change because of consequences of facing it. Two plus two is still four no matter what may or may not occur once it is stated.

Serious repercussions to the ummah… trust me brother there is nothing more serious and severe than to die in shirk. Nothing at ALL in this entire universe. Eating pork is haram, drinking alcohol is haram, committing zina is haram, etc. but and as bad as they are they do not take you out of folds of Islam. Committing shirk does which is why grave worship (which is literally what this is because Allah clearly said dua is a form of worship) is not only haram but it is shirk. People need to know and distinguish between sins (both minor and major) and the one major sin that will take you to Jahannam for eternity after after death, the only sin Allah will not forgive if died without repentance. And I am saying this as someone who went straight to Dr.Qadhi’s content when I had any type of doubts or questions back then when I wasn’t knowledgeable at all. I respected this man greatly and have nothing bad to say about him but this is a serious matter.
Isthigasa and thavassul are permesable in islam. In india majority people believe this. When the wahabi movement came to india in1929 they called everyone is kafir. India is a place which islam reached at the time of sahaba. We follow that traditional islam. Today 2023 the wahabi groups they themselves make each other thakfir. May allah protect us from the wahabi ideology emerged by ibn abdulwahab
Among English speaking islamic scholars, Yasir Qadhi is a towering most knowledgeable scholar we have today. He has two problem though. No1 muslims with little knowledge misunderstand him and others are fanatics who just hate him for nothing. Regarding misconception, Dr. Qadhi has cleared all one by one. May Allah guide this speaker.
Sheikh why don’t you have a face-to-face debate with Yasir Qadhi? anybody can make five minute videos on CZcams. Why don’t you make a lecture for three hours on shirkh.
Easy for people who haven't done one tenth of the good work that Shaykh Yasir has done, to criticize him by cherry picking words and based on the legitimate differences in opinion held by scholars throughout our history that they can't comprehend, because they haven't taken the effort to study something outside of their indoctrinating echo chambers.

Problems with these Ulema who are always addressing each other rather then addressing real issues of the Ummah. Living in the USA doesn't help either.These speakers have to be absoloutely cautious about what they say and what they teach due to safety and security concerns as well as to fit in with the norms..They feel threatened for sure thus cannot be entirely sincerely committed to teaching the Deen in its authentic state correctly or avoiding certain and very important topics thus watering down Islam and it's teachings and filtering with very high resolution what they teach or say.This is lethal.When we go onto social platforms on social media addressing sisters from the USA or Canada in the most polite way with evidences from the Quraan and sunnah, ,for eg.regarding celebrating Christmas and pinning a Christmas tree...or any other haraam ways that they are promoting ruthlessly , they very aggressively shut the sisters off calling them Is*s or the haraam police mocking them over and over.All this from our very own muslimas! The prophet s.a.w. said there will be 73 sects of my ummah and 72 of them will go to hellfire. And only 1 will go to paradise. The companions asked wich 1 will go to paradise where the prophet s.a.w. replied: Those who follow me and my companions. So your statement is incorrect, you have sufis doing shirk and other sects doing innovations. Those who follow the salaf are upon the truth, cus the salaf understood the Quran the best, not some Tom, Dick or Harry who came with something new. The prophet s.a.w. said anyone who comes with something new, is calling to missguidance and that can guide you to hellfire.
There is no sitting with deviants. Yasir Qadhi is the biggest deviant of this generation. Shaikh Zayd bin Muhammad bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah) stated: “When Bishr al-Mareesee died, not a single Sunni attended his janaazah - and this was alongside the fact that that the people of Sunnah were widespread in the land - except one man from Ahlus-Sunnah did attend, and he knew what Bishr al-Mareesee was upon from “Tajahhum”, i.e. negation of the Names and Attributes, denial of the punishment of the grave, denial of the intercession on the Day of Resurrection - however he only attended the funeral to make du’aa against him, not to make du’aa for him! So when Bishr was placed in his grave, this Sunni supplicated: “O Allaah! If this servant of your’s denied the Punishment of the Grave, then let him taste the Punishment of the Grave the likes of which no one from existence has ever tasted!” So when the people supplicated, he likewise continued to supplicate: “O Allaah! If this servant of your denied the Intercession of the Day of Resurrection, then do not permit any of your servants to intercede for him.” When he returned to his companions from Ahlus-Sunnah, they said to him, “You claim you are a person of Sunnah, yet you accompanied the funeral of Bishr?!” He responded, “Don’t be hasty until I inform you [of what I did].” So he informed them regarding what he had done and said - they believed him and laughed after initially being annoyed and angry with him.” The Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) also warned against the People of Innovation, from befriending, supporting or taking from them: “Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allaah, His Angels and the whole of mankind.” Reported by Bukhaaree (12/41) and Muslim (9/140) The consensus of the abandonment of the people of innovation has been reported from a group of the Salaf - and whoever denies or rejects this ijmaa’ is either ignorant or himself a person of innovation. Al-Fudayl bin ‘Iyaad (d. 187H) said: “I met the best of people, all of them people of the Sunnah and they used to forbid from accompanying the people of innovation.” Reported by al-Laalikaa’ee (no.267)

He didn't say anything bad. If someone in the ummah with a big influence is misguiding people, it must be corrected and the person must be reminded that they're drifting away from the right path.... in a respectful manner.
The truth of the matter is that except for the Salafists sitting in their echo chamber, the rest of the Ummah never accepted their new interpretation of the Quran and the Sunnah, and their borderline Khawarij type literalism devoid of nuances or wisdom. He has been known for double talks. He would say something in one video and then say completely opposite to that in another video. In general, his speech is never crystal clear. I have listened to his lectures and listened to him in-person. And I was like why did we pay 5k for this? And this was long before he came up with Sajda on grave being haram concept.
Before you ask, I may not have a PHD from an Islamic University but I have a functioning brain. Alhamdulillah. And I think people should not waste time to defend or dig more on YQ, we can do much better with this time.

The tawassul through the Prophet SAW quote of ibn Taymiya has to be understood in context as the Sheikh said. You can make tawassul through your love of the Prophet SAW like the 3 in the cave did when they made tawassul by means of their good actions, and that is because loving the Prophet is an act of worship that brings you close to Allah. That is different then tawassul by means of asking the Prophet SAW after his death which is something none of the companions did though his grave was right there in Medina.

Sometimes you will come across people who constantly have something negative or sarcastic to say and their language is always criticism no matter what you do. These types often have an ego and attention seeking problem, perhaps from childhood issues. It’s about them, not you. You will find they are quick to get on board the cancel culture as well. They often have little to no positive contribution to anything except destruction and pointing out only the faults. If they compliment it’s because they have something to gain out of it for themselves, and have a cult mentality. Allah says to deal with these types of people in the following way: ‘وأعرض عن الجاهلين' ‘Avoid engaging with the ignorant (those who lack character and morals)’. Do not give them the attention they crave for. But make du’a for them: ‘May Allah guide them.’

Dr Qadhi pointed out how Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab's version of Tawheed is different from mainstream Islam etc. Since Shaykh Karim Abu Zaid is a MIAW version Tawheed follower, he found it problematic.

This is shirk to the highest degree, why call the dead person for help when the dead person can’t even help themselves? It is like asking an inanimate object (idols) for help, they can’t do anything! Whether you believe the dead person is divine or not is completely irrelevant! You are calling on something that can not help nor harm
you when you are only supposed to call out to Allah alone. This is dangerous and very scary.
And Allah Himself said He will preserve the Quran so this needs to be accepted as the truth.
@confidential6802 So the ahruf have holes in the narrative as you have confirmed - it means that any harf of the Quran has holes in the narrative therefore we can not be sure that the qiraat that we are reciting is 100% authentic because the harf which the qiraat is based upon has holes in it - same thing bro, you just want to make it appear unproblematic. Many Muslims and Scholars are not that dumb to react negatively to what he said about the reliability of the Quran if what he said can be interpreted otherwise.
As regards his shirk aqidah, you rightly confirmed it here that it depends on whether you take that dead person as God - it is exactly the same argument made by the pagans of Makkah. They don't make their idols as God like Allah, they only invoke/worship them to get closer to Allah, read Surah Az-Zumar ayah 3. "“We worship * them only so that they get us closer to Allah” - That is exactly the reason why YQ's aqida is shirk. May Allah enlighten him and may Allah protect us from any form of shirk.

We have to find guidance in the book of Allah. Only then we can have a group who are guided. If you don't know Arabic, read the translation. And if you can spare 30 hours of your life, there is a beginner's course by Nouman Ali Khan on youtube, which will get you started on Arabic real quick.
You might ask, what about so many mullahs and sheikhs with their PHDs and degrees. I would say again read the Quran sincerely, and later ahadees too, you will be able to recognize who is on the right path. You will have that special sight as a gift from Allah Subhanahu Wataa'la. InshaAllah. Do not worry!
Assalam aleykoum in my opinion Imam Karim should call Dr Qadir and speak to him in private, not talking about him in public, this is not our Sunna which teaches to protect the honor of a Muslim brother and not to attack him all the time in public. If there comes a group of people whom we know, by the way they dress & speak, belong to this strand of Islam that does tawasul, do we allow them to enter the mosques? Or do we disallow them given what the shaikh has said, the line has been drawn? I don't know about US but in my country, they are influential people & hold high positions in religious councils. Firstly our criteria in islam is not philosophy but sunnah only. The first things Ive found about him is that
1.he is not humble but brags a lot about his achievements.
2. He has doubted if the quran is authentic/preserved in its original form.
3. He has doubted juj&majuj being real while they are mentioned in quran.
4. He is far from being staunch against the liberalisation of islam instead he is one of those who invites it.
5. He has been associated with a lot of bad names which I dont want to mention.
Let me tell you that there are a lot of muslims who have done a lot of good but we should not neglect when they do clear errors in islam as it can lead a lot of people astray. Im not comparing him to this but as you may know a lot of people became muslim after 9/11 but that doesnt mean we are only gonna look one way and refuse to look the other. Good can come out of bad but we should not mix them and we should only seek those whose dawah is clear and uncompromising. May Allah guide us all.

regarding 2&3, there shouldnt be any confusion or doubting regarding this not even from a layman let alone someone who is called "scholar". He should not need to clarify his stance on such a deviant matters, it should be obvious from a sheikh. How come we have to question a sheikh wether he believes in the quran or not and he makes a video clarifying? That should be a red flag.
4&5. There are many daees who have criticised and there are enough proof that he is not how strong as he used to be on haqq. Rather he is trying to modernise the religion. If you want to stick with him do so.
Your last part is very wrong. Ibn Taymiyyah has left his mark if some crazy person comes and calles him this and that doesnt make it true. Its upon you to read his work and learn the deen. Scholars troughout time have praised him.
Learn the deen and seek guidance beyond YQ and OS. Good luck.

He was very clear on what he meant. He said that historically there have been 3 positions on asking dua at the grave on Nabi SAW. 1. It’s shirk 2. It’s haram 3. It’s halal.
His position is that it’s #2 haram because nabi is in the grave already and it’s a slippery slope to ask for dua at this point. But he also says don’t say it’s shirk bc it’s also a very dangerous opinion that has serious repercussions to the ummah. He gave an example where people start condemning others calling them munafiq kafir etc and killing !
Asking dua on the Nabi SAW grave (I believe this is the grave worship issue?) is shirk point blank. Allah swt is explicitly clear that only He can be worshipped and there are no making dua to something else including our Nabi SAW for it to reach Allah swt. “Don’t say it’s shirk because it is a dangerous opinion”, believing it is not shirk is even a more severely dangerous opinion that can take you to Jahannam eternally. May Allah truly guide us because this is terrifying.
But shirk is shirk. Truth doesn’t change because of consequences of facing it. Two plus two is still four no matter what may or may not occur once it is stated.

Serious repercussions to the ummah… trust me brother there is nothing more serious and severe than to die in shirk. Nothing at ALL in this entire universe. Eating pork is haram, drinking alcohol is haram, committing zina is haram, etc. but and as bad as they are they do not take you out of folds of Islam. Committing shirk does which is why grave worship (which is literally what this is because Allah clearly said dua is a form of worship) is not only haram but it is shirk. People need to know and distinguish between sins (both minor and major) and the one major sin that will take you to Jahannam for eternity after after death, the only sin Allah will not forgive if died without repentance. And I am saying this as someone who went straight to Dr.Qadhi’s content when I had any type of doubts or questions back then when I wasn’t knowledgeable at all. I respected this man greatly and have nothing bad to say about him but this is a serious matter.

Among English speaking islamic scholars, Yasir Qadhi is a towering most knowledgeable scholar we have today. He has two problem though. No1 muslims with little knowledge misunderstand him and others are fanatics who just hate him for nothing. Regarding misconception, Dr. Qadhi has cleared all one by one. May Allah guide this speaker.
Sheikh why don’t you have a face-to-face debate with Yasir Qadhi? anybody can make five minute videos on CZcams. Why don’t you make a lecture for three hours on shirkh.
Easy for people who haven't done one tenth of the good work that Shaykh Yasir has done, to criticize him by cherry picking words and based on the legitimate differences in opinion held by scholars throughout our history that they can't comprehend, because they haven't taken the effort to study something outside of their indoctrinating echo chambers.
The same thing had been done to Sheikh Imran Hosein, Imam’s actually closed the doors of the Masjid on him too. When he is one of the Sheikh’s who use Quran (first) and hadiths (second)to explain the modern age and the world affairs today. And he is one of the only Sheikh’s who teach the recitation of the Quran to be completed in 1 month every month without the breaking of any surahs. With all 30 Ajza being recited in 1 lunar month without the breaking of any surah.
Imran Hosein has a video where he supports the Chinese government over the Uyghurs. He says that the diacritic marks of the Quran cannot be fully trusted. He’s gone off the rails.

Problems with these Ulema who are always addressing each other rather then addressing real issues of the Ummah. One scholar who is always in the laps of the rulers and the other modernizing and pushing secularism with in the Ummah. Unfortunately both of these Ulema lost the plot a long time ago. They are irrelevant for those who are actually struggling are on the grounds in areas where this Ummah is struggling. They don’t have the intellect or the depth to address the real issues of pakistan where a whole country is drowning in Riba and oppression of IMF, huge amounts of population dying for a price of bread, the army being dismantled, reminds me situation of Baghdad where tartar came destroyed the authority of Islam while the Ulema were busy with each other addressing theories. Living in the USA doesn't help either.These speakers have to be absoloutely cautious about what they say and what they teach due to safety and security concerns as well as to fit in with the norms..They feel threatened for sure thus cannot be entirely sincerely committed to teaching the Deen in its authentic state correctly or avoiding certain and very important topics thus watering down Islam and it's teachings and filtering with very high resolution what they teach or say.This is lethal.When we go onto social platforms on social media addressing sisters from the USA or Canada in the most polite way with evidences from the Quraan and sunnah, ,for eg.regarding celebrating Christmas and pinning a Christmas tree...or any other haraam ways that they are promoting ruthlessly , they very aggressively shut the sisters off calling them Is*s or the haraam police mocking them over and over.All this from our very own muslimas! The Dajjal is on his way.The largest in number of his followers will be women.A very aggressive movement and lifestyle has already succeeded in infiltrating the hearts and minds of our sisters there.The enemy of Islam is not so much external as what stems from internally.A woman scorned is a dangerous woman.There are many many issues that have let our sisters slip into what they think is moderate Islam but which actually is a haraam way and lifestyle.May Allah the Almighty turn that around.America and Canada need alot of work done there.Before focusing predominantly on reverting Muslims kindly to all speakers and imaams and students of the Deen and scholars of the Deen,you missing the target or are focusing on the incorrect or mundane one.Before dabbling into teaching philosophies that confuse the ummah focus on teaching them the significance of the Shahada,what a practicing Muslim is like and how to pray correctly.How to do wudhu correctly,how to make a ghusl correctly.The very foundations of their Deen have been forgotten/ abandoned/ have been non existent from their youth.When this happens evil spreads through the land and the world and the Ummah.Do not forget that a woman's voice and influence is a very powerful one.The fitnah is not from men as much as it is from our sisters...social media accounts say it all.May Allah the Almighty enable us to use it for the benefit of humanity and Deen and not to lead others astray.
is this about salafi is true and others sects are wrong thing? cant we agree to disgree as long as Quran n sunnah allows us. when will they reconciliate between them and straighten up misunderstanding personally. rather call it out and increasing gap of enmity between ummahs with their sectarian paths.
The prophet s.a.w. said there will be 73 sects of my ummah and 72 of them will go to hellfire. And only 1 will go to paradise. The companions asked wich 1 will go to paradise where the prophet s.a.w. replied: Those who follow me and my companions.
So your statement is incorrect, you have sufis doing shirk and other sects doing innovations. Those who follow the salaf are upon the truth, cus the salaf understood the Quran the best, not some Tom, Dick or Harry who came with something new. The prophet s.a.w. said anyone who comes with something new, is calling to missguidance and that can guide you to hellfire.

Shaikh Zayd bin Muhammad bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (hafidhahullaah) stated:
“When Bishr al-Mareesee died, not a single Sunni attended his janaazah - and this was alongside the fact that that the people of Sunnah were widespread in the land - except one man from Ahlus-Sunnah did attend, and he knew what Bishr al-Mareesee was upon from “Tajahhum”, i.e. negation of the Names and Attributes, denial of the punishment of the grave, denial of the intercession on the Day of Resurrection - however he only attended the funeral to make du’aa against him, not to make du’aa for him! So when Bishr was placed in his grave, this Sunni supplicated:
“O Allaah! If this servant of your’s denied the Punishment of the Grave, then let him taste the Punishment of the Grave the likes of which no one from existence has ever tasted!”
So when the people supplicated, he likewise continued to supplicate:
“O Allaah! If this servant of your denied the Intercession of the Day of Resurrection, then do not permit any of your servants to intercede for him.”
When he returned to his companions from Ahlus-Sunnah, they said to him, “You claim you are a person of Sunnah, yet you accompanied the funeral of Bishr?!” He responded, “Don’t be hasty until I inform you [of what I did].”
So he informed them regarding what he had done and said - they believed him and laughed after initially being annoyed and angry with him.”
The Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wasallam) also warned against the People of Innovation, from befriending, supporting or taking from them:
“Whoever innovates or accommodates an innovator then upon him is the curse of Allaah, His Angels and the whole of mankind.” Reported by Bukhaaree (12/41) and Muslim (9/140)
The consensus of the abandonment of the people of innovation has been reported from a group of the Salaf - and whoever denies or rejects this ijmaa’ is either ignorant or himself a person of innovation. Al-Fudayl bin ‘Iyaad (d. 187H) said:
“I met the best of people, all of them people of the Sunnah and they used to forbid from accompanying the people of innovation.” Reported by al-Laalikaa’ee (no.267)

@@calonyoutuber1399 Yasir Qadhi literally, like the Sufi/Shia types, claims worshipping graves is not Shirk and simply just haraam. It is actually much more serious than bidah. Please understand this is the EXACT same argument that PRE-Islamic pagan Arabs used to make to the Prophet of Allah (PBUH) when they justified worshipping their false gods. It's a very clear cut issue.

He didn't say anything bad. If someone in the ummah with a big influence is misguiding people, it must be corrected and the person must be reminded that they're drifting away from the right path.... in a respectful manner.

The truth of the matter is that except for the Salafists sitting in their echo chamber, the rest of the Ummah never accepted their new interpretation of the Quran and the Sunnah, and their borderline Khawarij type literalism devoid of nuances or wisdom. Pity that they get to exacerbate the divisions in the Ummah with their little knowledge and the petro dollars that amplify their tiny voices disproportionately.
