I am sure u know this but I really recommend sticking with either Mann Filter or Genuine BMW oil filters. Not really worth it imo to run anything else to save a few bucks. I dont trust aftermarket brands and its very cheap on fcp euro, $8.69 a piece. just order like 10.

Whats the difference, I do oil changes often so I thought it didn’t matter that much

@@Rvssvlle90 I do oil changes at 3k miles or before. Ive had bad luck with "aftermarket" brand stuff and with how important a oil filter is I will always choose "Genuine" or Mann Filter. Main difference is quality and quality standards. Between "Genuine" "OEM" "OE" and "Aftermarket" there are big differences in quality standards and what is acceptable. For example a genuine BMW part will have more standards than an OEM part. Ive seen them collapse and not last, best to spend the extra couple bucks for a Mann Filter or Genuine filter as they are the exact same as each other. Autozone filters just dont cut it with these cars imo. U could also get "Oil change kit" from FCP Euro that includes a Mann Filter and u are able to send the oil change back after changing it for store credit. More or less free oil changes, you only pay for shipping. I pay about $20 an oil change on my car from FCP using Liqui Moly, Mann Filter, and their warranty. Personally I will always use Genuine BMW for gaskets, O-rings, and coolant lines and I believe the "OE" or "OEM" are not up to the quality of Genuine BMW parts and will not last as long.

I’ll keep that in mind bro for sure, I usually like to use only oem parts but I’ve noticed recently that it don’t matter most the time. A lot of the parts are from auto zone on my car already too
