This video is to show what to expect with a higher mileage E9X M3. These cars are getting older so having over 100k miles is common now.

Great seeing another high mileage M3. Near 141k, daily driven, owned since new. That is one worn seat. Agree about Mr12volt, it’s a must have, especially since they took away real time traffic.

@@knighriderredux yup the seat is an eye sore. The plan is to do something recaros but I might just have it fixed in the meantime. Glad to hear about a lot of these cars being driven!

Perfect timing for this review, thinking about getting an e92 worried about bearing but you put it perfectly I’ll just tear it down if it looks good I’ll leave as is 👍

    Good review.
My 09 E93 has 140k+ miles and running strong. But definitely requires routine maintenance that’s not cheap.
My headlights just died so gonna replace w aftermarket

@@eiji81 yup I had to code out the adaptive in mine. Which is fine because I would never have cared for it anyways. Seems like the trend with theses cars the more you drive them the better they are.

@@Bmwguy2011 that's awesome! I don't plan on getting rid of mine for awhile. Would love to see get over 200k.

I am considering a MR12 Volt, I have a 2011 E93 with CIC. Do you like the sound from the Mr12V unit?

Sound quality is great. I've been in several cars with the MR12 Volt installed. It sounds as good as my Aux hooked up to the factory port. Its probably one of the best things you can do for one of these cars.

im 18 and i just recently got promoted in my job and im working more hours and my coworker just picked up a 2019 camaro 1le off the dealership for 48k and now hes making me want to get something one of the options rn is a e9x m3 rn in my area of California there going for 20-30k and after seeing and hearing the sounds and looks of these cars i really want one but im scared of the problems i was thinking if i get one to change the bearing right when i get it.

@@ZRVN06 personally I wouldn't change the bearings. If you are scared about them and that could influence a decision. But I've built enough engines I'm not comfortable just slapping bearings in something. I would rather pull it apart have the crank polished, line bore checked and rods checked for out of round. Then if it passed bearing size selection for clearance and re assembly. Long store sort there's a lot more to putting bearings in a car especially with age and mileage everything wears together.
