This episode was way to short, could easily have watched 40-45 minutes of the build proces :)
No doubt! Do a follow up on this!
Absolutely
Right ?? Wtf ! That's what I thought I was going to be watching !
Brian Finland only an extra 5min... fake ... spammer
@@mattl7424 huh?
These fellas are the real deal. They made the smokers for my brothers establishment (Goldee’s in Ft. Worth) and their smokers are work horses.
Is there a way I can contact them?
I love these builds and show. I've had cut off wheels explode while using it, ran out of gas in my torch while cutting... A plasma cutter would change these guys world for fabrication.
This is what im talkin about! I can watch these kind've videos allll day!
I love this show! I wish there where more!!!!!!! Chef Katie you’re the bomb!
It’s great to have you back Katie, your show is awesome 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼
Keep going...waiting for your next episode of this entertaining show 😍
Texas.. i visited America and they have the best barbique in the word!
This is, surprisingly, the most interesting video I've seen on CZcams this week.
And I've seen a lots.
cooking a gator like that is some Mad Max level stuff... i love it!
By far my fav Eater host
Now thats what I call an amazing *SMOKER* ...yes Sir..👍👍
As a previous Traeger+ user, I've recently switched to Asmoke and my grilling experience has completely changed. The precision temperature control and the wide range of wood pellet flavors have taken my grilling game to next level. The smart design, coupled with ASCA™ technology, ensures my food is cooked to perfection every time. I also love that it's portable and battery powered, making it my go-to grill for camping and tailgating. Not to mention, it's eco-friendly, using recycled wood materials. For me, Asmoke is a clear winner in terms of taste, convenience, and environmental impact. I can't wait to explore more recipes and flavors with my Asmoke grill. #Asmoke
That my friend is truly craftsmanship at is best, good work guys!
Katie, you are great. Love your videos and ventures. Please keep it up
Your one is really awesome. I am impressed. great I love it.
Looks Awesome
Great video... Thanks... 👍
Must order one.. Must have!!
Well done guys!
For someone using a power tool maybe their first time would suggest the grinding guard.
everytime regardless if its your first time or you 19938348483 time , specially with those cutting wheels
Mlwest89 it’s Texas man.
"Fingers grow back". don't they
Nah guards are for pussays
All the guards protect you from is sparks, you can still cut yourself even with a guard you idiots.
It was great!
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls and
Mill Scale makes some really great smokers and the quality is top notch!!! That gator on the cross reminded me of something from the movie predator for some reason lol
Mill scale makes a well built smoker I do agree. But for value and price Lone Star Grillz has the best value and you can get a 1/2" firebox. And that firebox will never burnout.but I love the looks of the Mill Scale smoker that's how a smoker should look.
6:39 That gator was crucified lol.
AHAHAHHHHAAAAAHAA
Damn good channel!
Welding wins \m/
Few days ago I welded a custom made exhaust flamebox pipe for my thumper motorcycle.
Greets outta Southern Germany!
Hi is it ok to install the Exhaust Damper close to cooking chamber instead of the end of stack? I will appreciate the feedback.
Nice job 👍
Badass stuff ❤
Somebody get these guys a shear
Wow pero que cantidad de carnes 😋😋😋😋😋👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
As a Texan I slowly pressed the like button when I saw that goddam gator strapped to the cross.
It’s kinda tight being from Texas sometimes
Hi I really enjoyed watching the build. Do these guys sell to the uk??
“Tastes like chicken”
“Tastes like Louisiana”
Louisiana tastes like chicken
"So, now we're going to build a cooking grate." "Great!"
I see what you did there...haha!
Yes way to go Texas always bigger and better.
Host seems like a fun person
Can the guys @ millscale do a video with the plancha installing in / on the millscale 94 gallon grill/smoker, also hav / do a video with the top rack in smoker & also using the plancha in smoker?? Thinkn bout ordering millscale 94 gallon...
The guy in the black is literally built like one of those smokers 😂 man is a UNIT
I want that smoker!
Origins are no where in Europe, however born in Texas but raised in Cali. I wish I was more Texan
They got someone not used to using an angle grinder cutting steel with a grinder with the safety shield and side handle removed. Great.
I've Tried to make one and Failed Big Time. Problem is, we're Poor AF and have No Tools Sadly !!
What I Made was a Complete Embarrassment, Tried and Failed. Wasted money that I don't have for me and my little boy 😢😭 damn, So Wishing I had Something like this.
I also, attempt to make foods from Other lands like you guys. Shockingly, I'm pretty good at it !😊
Osha be like, there’s no safety guard on that cutting wheel
I do love Katie! In most shows, she is willing to jump in with both feet. In this particular episode, it seems as though she is looking on and hoping she is NOT going to have to whatever is next....and I completely get that! Oh, yeah...and then there is gator on the cross. Tastes like chicken!
As soon as you said "Plancha" I knew I needed you make a custom Plancha for my cooktop. Do you do small custom jobs?
I love Portugal
Ok how much and do you ship to Canada?!
I would like to get the price on your BBQ smokers, but I don't see the link any where?
I currently live in Lexington, Kentucky and am wanting to try to make my first offset smoker...I cannot find anyone who sells the steel pipe like the ones you are all using. Is there any suggestions on where to go, who to call? Any info would be extremely helpful.
I’ve gone to metal suppliers and I’m told every time that no one will carry the size I’m looking for...which would
Be 18-22” diameter, 1/4” thick, at least 4 foot cooking chamber and at least a 2 foot firebox..all round tube
Most likely they used rolled sheet steel for this size
Are those the bbq smokers from Franklin BBQ in Austin?
cool 😉😉
I love meat and all but that shot at 6:40 made me think a lot about our love for meat, I mean skinning and alligator to then make a bacon suit for it and crucifying it over hot coals lol
Yall worry so much over animals you forget about humans. Here watch this lovely vid..
@@famousbowl9926 I'm not clicking on that link by the name alone seems to be cartel on cartel violence why should I care about that
What's the dimensions on the smoker?
I wish I had one like these instead of a treager
Haha... That's the easy bake oven of BBQ... Respect for recognizing though..
A power tool with out a guard!!!
Damn. Alligator Jesus didn't die for this.
2:02 that was sexiest lol she like "yeah"
I thought that was actually a pretty illustrative example.
Handing power tools without handles nor guards to a person with limited experience is one huge no-no.
Coward
@@carladams9345 TIL wanting to keep my fingers makes me a coward
Totally agree I was waiting for someone to say this 😂 when she said she was scared I was like so you should be!
No handle, no guard, thin expanded metal which loves to grab the wheel, no experience...what could go wrong?
@@dbrackman1 and bulky leather gardening gloves that are two sizes too big... just asking to have a finger tied in a knot
is that just mild steel ?
Alligator in the bbq smoke missile !!!
where is the rest of this.
Austin and in Austin Texas?
What oil are they using to cure the smoker?
beef tallow
You were a good journeyperson!
Tattooed, bearded welders/fabricators sure have different personalities these days than they did 20 years ago.
They're called hipsters nowadays
My sweet gator Jesus!!! Wow!
Um, not Austin, TX, but Lockhart, TX. Its says so right on their sign toots.
Don't let OSHA see you don't have the guard on the grinder
2:49 Wow! No cover on grinder and over that handing it to a first timer. Take good care of yourself; life is precious.
If you die from an unguarded grinder you're too worthless for life anyway. Natural selection.
No safety guard on that cutoff wheel is a OSHA violation. 😉
I’m not surprised Amy Schumer likes bbq.
Glad she's working.
I like to build me one The smokers on the trailer one day
Oh yeah...
6 seconds in. Boris the animal! Its jus boris!
Katie Pickens has a Christina Applegates sister look going on.
Safer, faster and better cut quality can be done if you use plasma instead of oxyfuel. Try Hypertherm!
I’m sure they are the fabricators for the Franklin pit
Grinder guard??
where is the wheel-guard?? I understand you workers are not using it but you give tool to "newbie"... WTF
Exactly. & the sparks are flying near the welding tank next to em. Smh..
We are here for a good time, not a long time 🤷♂️
@@MrPunx16 co2 and argon are inert it's safe to weld next to them.
Its a no stupid people tool.
She clearly knows what she is doing 🙄 She was lucky to walk away with all her fingers.
Where the guard for that grinder !
Tastes like chicken Good warm or cold 👌🇺🇸
No hand-/wheel-guard on the grinder? 😬
I don't think I would have let her use it.
OSHA wants to know their location
Be a man....
seasoning the grill metal with beef fat...Doesn't get more texan than that
There's no reason for no guard on a grinder unless you want to loose your fingers! 21 years 6g certified
I wouldn't hand someone a cutoff wheel first time holding a grinder 😬
Here cut some grate😭😭😭
Lockhart isn't Austin
These are the guys that build franklins smokers I think
Yeah I was thinking that too. The smoker they showed at the beginning and the thumbnail looked pretty similar just without the cool design.
Make me a 500 gallon smoker
Someone knows the name of the guys?
could’ve been first but wanted to watch the video instead 😂 first like atleast 🤝💙 great video guys and girls
🤣
Like
Alligator to Bacogator
Hotness🔥🔥
wish they were cheaper
you just know she was aching for a spit roast
They need to fix their website. Very slow and buggy.
I’ll never understand why people take off guards on grinders… literally if you don’t know how to rotate a guard you probably shouldn’t be using a grinder.
2:59 how NOT to use an angle grinder!
Where the hell did they get whole gator?
Spencer J Elliott Texas, enough said
@@trevormeeks7406 I'm in Houston. We can get the meat all day, but I haven't found where to get whole gator.
Spencer J Elliott in that case, I’d recommend finding a butcher shop that sells the meat and see if you can arrange to buy a whole animal. I’ve done that for pigs but I’m not sure about alligators. You
Could also try to find an alligator farm
Or hunt one.
Can the pit be 20” and the smoker be 16”. Will it work.
