It amazes me how people just zoom through. You have no idea what may have washed into the road. Cement blocks, logs. People are so daring, just crazy.

Not many test their brakes after going through the water, which could be a fatal mistake further up the road, as you can rip brake lines off, seize callipers and even shatter discs due to the rapid cooling of the water and the force it can apply as you pass through it. I've had the experience of hydrolock at 70Mph due to the amount of spray kicked up by a HGV and that wasn't fun.
