Lancia Kappa - Maybe the last true Lancia

Today, I’m going to tell a story of an almost unknown Italian car that actually was very interesting - Lancia Kappa.
Well, everybody knows Lancia Delta but its big sister Kappa produced from 1994 to 2000 was a very good car, too.
Its official and serious look encouraged wide use of the Kappa by government officials and law enforcement services in Italy and in Poland. And the rumor has it that the Kappa was very popular among Italian Mafia members at that time.
The car was made for comfort and pleasure. And it was comfortable and pleasant, especially for long trips. The Kappa was a fast car with powerful engines and good dynamics for its time. But soon you would realize that there is no need to hurry, and you would continue enjoying the trip in a calm, comfortable, and relaxed manner.
The Lancia Kappa was a kind of Italian Mercedes-Benz and maybe this was the last true Lancia Car, The last true successor of Lancia Delta and Lancia Thema, and the last echo of the glorious history of the Lancia brand.

Love this video! Totaly affirmative with your words, because I'm one of the owner of Lancia Kappa kombi 2.4 jtd and it is awesome car to ride! Mainly because the ride is so calm and the car seats are so comfortable.

The last true Lancias are Lybra and Thesis. Kappa is good but can't match the quality and technology of Lybra, while Thesis is on another level.

I feel the only problem of this is the front end, too sloping and squished down, otherwise this is a very handsome car. A budget Maserati Quattroporte mk4. And I say it with the awareness that I've always mocked it, wrongly
