As an Accounting and Econ Major, been waiting for someone to do a video on this :)
How u use anki now for acc. and econ like after 2 years
The video is great, thanks!
Just quick notes (summary) for myself :)
Use Anki for:
1. Definitions. It helps to solidify your understanding & give better answers if asked.
2. Formulas. Even with cheatsheet it helps the same way as the definitions.
3. Binary questions. This is the only type of problem, suitable for Anki. With them you don't waste time because of open-end nature of Math.
4. Cards with multiple answers, only if they are specific. For example - 3 laws of smth (within concept). With that approach you have all of them as a group in your memory, so you can easily apply them simultaneously when needed.
5. CONSEPTUALLY tough questions. This is most important way of Anki usage. These must not contain the math, but only test - how well you understand the math. They're basically conceptual questions that make you think also about quantitative side of the topic. For example - structure of a question might be qualitative, but the data (some values) - quantitative.
Another example - What does the [value] [somewhere] imply?
Thanks man. You seem to be a mind reader and always make videos when they are most needed.
Please do make videos on using Anki for all your b-school subjects.
Thank you, All the methods I saw for Anki were majoritly for med students and obviously that's a completely different major in terms of maths vs memorizing. Now I can use Anki of a better way. And again, thank you, like, for real.
Exactly what I needed, thank you!
WOW this video is exactly what I was looking for as a business student thank you so much!
I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for making these videos (:
Great video!
I am a physics major. Our final's question look like this:
1. Deduce the van der waals' equation for a gas and explain the physical significance of the constants
2. Calculate the ratio of specific heats,𝛄, for monatomic and diatomic gases
3. Deduce Maxwell's thermodynamic relations
Should I make a flashcard per question because I am sure that these are the questions that will appear in the finals.
Can you this video for Physics next please
Think is SUCH a good video
Great video
You are a Genius
I am a Ph.D. student in applied economics, looking for more efficient methods to study advanced theoretical microeconomics, and I believe what you have posted will benefit me tremendously! Thank you!
did it ?
Hi Prerak Junthani, I like your content. I love watching your videos.
thank sir this vedio inspire me
Could you also do computing please
Im an Anki fan and Data-Science major. Hell yeah :))
what's data science major?
@@neunteskreuz8701 Just a normal major my university offers. Basically applied mathematics, programming and statistics.
Thanks
thanks so much! I would definitely be interested in how to best incorporate and utilize Anki for other subjects!
Nice
studying accountancy law audit like subjects trying to make good questions but still confused if I am sacrificing my conceptual understanding bcz of anki please help with this ???
How can I use this for statistics and probability?
Make a video on how you study.
Another thing I've found useful is remembering the proof-structure for some theorems.
e.g. for the Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem I have the following:
set is bounded -> has limes superior -> lies within set too -> has convergent subsequence -> at least one convergent subsequence exists
great idea. I suppose this can be used for derivations as well.
I would love to see how Anki could be used for Language Arts and English.
LOL
@@OkurkaBinLadin What's so funny?
Please add tips of how to write formulas in Anki..
I don't want to use screenshots
There are some videos available on beginner MathJax. I'm in med school but like to use it for the little amount of formulas we do have in our curriculum
@@thehaag378 Thanks man
@@Xarius01 I tried both but stuck to screenshots. Try to get over perfectionism for anki, efficiency matters way more. You're unlikely to stick to it if you take minutes to make each card.
Check out getgreenshot.org, you can clip the screenshot so that you just see the formula.
Learn LaTeX notion. It takes some effort but it’s worth it
Do you think it is frowned upon by patients if a physician has a business or economics degree too? love your videos Prerak
Patients just want to get well soon... Here in India if you cure them they don't care even if you are not a doctor... lol
Why would that be frowned upon? Even if it is, it doesn't seem like you would be forced to show people your business/economics degrees.
When will you do another study with me live??
Don't u have 300iq like Rick sanchez
You should rename your channel to Anki Juthani 😉
You told math and showed economics
I mean, technically it used math, sooo
