Some of the examples for vague questions legit look like questions I got in a test. Different subject as I’m still in Highschool, but sometimes I’m just sitting there and asking myself what they mean with that. And not because I don’t understand, but because the questions could have multiple answers or they used a term that could be applicable for multiple things. Some teachers really don’t know how to ask precise questions.

@@ArjunKelaiya Thank you Arjun, I tried it a while back. It was definitely more intuitively organized than most other pre-made decks, but my comprehension was still slow. I'm a tad on the dumber side. lol. Eventually I bit the bullet and have been making my own cards. I just don't have a very solid grasp of path to venture answering cards that are too open ended. I think after I finish a first pass of making anki Pathoma cards and studying I'll go back and do the Duke Pathoma by sections in a filtered deck. Thank you again for your suggestion.

Isn't word association part of studying? Like the example of the card with the xray in front. Wouldn't you actually learn from associating a word/description with the image? Isn't that important in skill building disciplines like radiology, pathology etc.? Also copying and pasting questions can be useful for exams because it somehow gives you an idea about how the examiner will test you. I know learning from making your own questions is great for comprehension but we have to remember that medical students are also studying for exams. This is just my opinion of course.

if i dont copy and paste my questions, I'd end up wasting so much time on generating cards. Im just using anki so im practically transforming my lectures into questions. do you think that's right? or should i use anki only for heavy duty questions?
I feel like generating cards can also act as a review session in on itself. I mean copy and pasting questions can make it so you ask yourself questions you dont fully understand. But if youre sure you understand the concept and if it works for you id say youre good.
For Mistake #1, if my MCQ are short (i.e. one sentence long), can I copy and paste the question and cloze delete just the answer itself? Without including the answer options? That way I won't be remembering the position of the answer in case the exact same question shows up again but differently on an exam
But what if i want to remeber what something looks like? Say i want to be able to tell the difference visually between the "rough endoplasmic reticulum" and "smooth endoplasmic reticulum", and know what they look like to tell them apart, THEN would i put the pictures at the front of the FC?

Answer: The combination of the colors red, green and blue are intrepreted as white by our brain. That way a computer display can display multiple different colors, including white.

Hello Prerak! Your videos are awesome, I just have found your channel for two days and since then I've watched about 10 of your videos, really a great job keep it up. My question is: when I copy a picture in the back/extra section and it doesn't appear when I click on show answer button, it only appears when I copy the picture in the front view, would you help me please to fix this issue?
I think I have encountered your problem. The way I solved it was by going into the Cards section (the place where you can see how the card looks like and all the coding part of the card on the left side), and then opening up a CZcamsr's video that talks about the particular card type. For example, my close deletion card didn't seem to work properly, so I searched multiple videos until I caught a glimpse of their coding section on the left side, and compared too mine. But you can also searched up this problem, and online forums probably have the answer. You probably already have the answer, but if you still don't, hope I helped.

Some of the examples for vague questions legit look like questions I got in a test. Different subject as I’m still in Highschool, but sometimes I’m just sitting there and asking myself what they mean with that. And not because I don’t understand, but because the questions could have multiple answers or they used a term that could be applicable for multiple things. Some teachers really don’t know how to ask precise questions.

@@ArjunKelaiya Thank you Arjun, I tried it a while back. It was definitely more intuitively organized than most other pre-made decks, but my comprehension was still slow. I'm a tad on the dumber side. lol. Eventually I bit the bullet and have been making my own cards. I just don't have a very solid grasp of path to venture answering cards that are too open ended. I think after I finish a first pass of making anki Pathoma cards and studying I'll go back and do the Duke Pathoma by sections in a filtered deck. Thank you again for your suggestion.

Isn't word association part of studying? Like the example of the card with the xray in front. Wouldn't you actually learn from associating a word/description with the image? Isn't that important in skill building disciplines like radiology, pathology etc.?
Also copying and pasting questions can be useful for exams because it somehow gives you an idea about how the examiner will test you. I know learning from making your own questions is great for comprehension but we have to remember that medical students are also studying for exams.
This is just my opinion of course.

if i dont copy and paste my questions, I'd end up wasting so much time on generating cards. Im just using anki so im practically transforming my lectures into questions. do you think that's right? or should i use anki only for heavy duty questions?
I feel like generating cards can also act as a review session in on itself. I mean copy and pasting questions can make it so you ask yourself questions you dont fully understand. But if youre sure you understand the concept and if it works for you id say youre good.
For Mistake #1, if my MCQ are short (i.e. one sentence long), can I copy and paste the question and cloze delete just the answer itself? Without including the answer options?
That way I won't be remembering the position of the answer in case the exact same question shows up again but differently on an exam

Answer: The combination of the colors red, green and blue are intrepreted as white by our brain. That way a computer display can display multiple different colors, including white.

My question is: when I copy a picture in the back/extra section and it doesn't appear when I click on show answer button, it only appears when I copy the picture in the front view, would you help me please to fix this issue?
I think I have encountered your problem. The way I solved it was by going into the Cards section (the place where you can see how the card looks like and all the coding part of the card on the left side), and then opening up a CZcamsr's video that talks about the particular card type. For example, my close deletion card didn't seem to work properly, so I searched multiple videos until I caught a glimpse of their coding section on the left side, and compared too mine. But you can also searched up this problem, and online forums probably have the answer. You probably already have the answer, but if you still don't, hope I helped.
