It's a movie song , the premise is when the protagonist reunites with his estranged sister , it's his feeling of healing and happiness , of finding a purpose in his lonely life to live the moment of this reunion to eternity . This song is my all time fave of Sonu Nigam , but he's a legend and has a bouquet of such melodies in his kitty , check tanhayi , yeh Dil dewana from pardes and Suraj hua matdham to name a few. For me, Sonu Nigam is hands down the best male singer or vocalist in our time and age out of India. His voice is rich regardless of the range he takes on and he sings effortlessly. His vibrato and microtones are amazing and mimics the style of the great legendary singer Mohammed Rafi. He is probably the only singer who could come close to singing in the style of Rafi. He has been out of the limelight for a while and we do hope to see more of him.

In terms of seniority Sonu Nigam is senior to Arijit Singh for that matter he is even slightly senior to Shreya Ghoshyal and is considered to be the greatest vocalist in leagues of legends among indian artists whom the batch of juniors like arijit and others grew up idolizing.But no matter how much more we like to hear from him,his time in industry has clearly passed and the stage now belongs to the younger generations like arijit singh and others.But in terms of vocals alone nobody beats sonu nigam and shreya ghoshyal period.
