I admittedly thought this was going to be the 2005 playoff game when Steve Smith went Beast Mode, but sometimes nothing beats a good old fashioned revenge game
I thought Matt Forte hanging 205 rushing yards on the Panthers D in Cam’s rookie year would’ve been a better choice as well than this contrived “revenge” game.
They must have edited the title cause idk how you could think this was the 2005 playoff game when it says Greg Olsen in the title

I remember that game
I miss these days as a Panthers fan. Even though we weren't the greatest team, we had an identity and could feel proud to be a Panthers fan. Ever since the team was sold the atmosphere around the team feels hollow. The heart is missing, not from the players but from everyone else
Eh I mean 13 they were a legit contender If they don't get rid of all cams weapons they'd have probably won it all in 14 15 they almost won it 17 they were great even with almost no wr's in the playoffs they still almost beat the saints probably would have if not for that terrible intentional grounding call 18 cam was on pace to have his best year and prior to his shoulders coming off they were contenders ... now the team is in hell hopefully bryce and the new bc will change that
This Panthers team finished 7-8-1, but still won the NFC South division title. They also became the first team to win the NFC South in consecutive seasons.
Who else remembers Luke Keuchly? Dude was a beast
Yeah he was awesome, the smartest deffender I have ever seen, it was unfortunated that he retire that soon, that guy was destinated to the hall of fame

This bears team had Marshall, Forte, Jeffery, and Bennett as main targets... I only remember this team allowed over 50 points back to back games, with a bye week between them too.
I remembered this game as if it was yesterday. I was at the edge of my seat literally nervous as heck and when GO88 got the GW score, I went loco. And then that strip sack to end it, had me go crazy. Carolina needs to go back to being the 2013 team and 2015 team. We need some true dogs

Mel Tucker was the defensive coordinator for one of the league’s worst defenses that year. They lost Brian Urlacher and Julius Peppers. Despite having a good offense and Cutler being healthy for all games, they had no shot of being good with that atrocious defense.

Both teams had high expectations going into the 2014 season. Sadly, neither team lived up to much hype (Panthers upset the Cardinals in Wild Card, but came back to earth in the loss against Seattle the very next week).

@@solo.3d I watched that game in its entirety. The Bears did more to lose it than the Panthers did to win it, really.
And I had to look up Greg’s stat-line from the box score to be reminded he caught two TD passes. Nobody’s immediate reaction to that game was anything remotely resembling the “Greg Olsen goes beast mode in ultimate act of revenge” narrative the channel is pushing.
