There is something about bad weather games that make the games even better. Players seem to concentrate even more overall.
For players, I feel like it's way better going into playoff mode than getting blown out during a bad weather game. That just sucks.
They kind of have to. The bad weather element forces everyone to have to go back to the basics, since it's harder to do anything else.

He was a nightmare. 5’7 but ran like he was the biggest person on the field. His center of gravity and balance was insane. Oh, and he could catch. Imagine if he was drafted by the Patriots. That man would have probably had a shot at MVP.

As a huge Bills fan, this is the same week that Fitzmagic happened in Buffalo. Buffalo came back from 21-0 deficit against New England (and Brady), to beat them in an epic game. Unfortunately they decided to give Fitz a huge contract two weeks later, and Buffalo stumbled the rest of the way to a 6-10 record.
As a Pats fan, I remember that game way too well. Brady had a great game... Aside from his highly uncharacteristic 4 interceptions (all of which were thrown in the 2nd half). The Bills start 3-0 to the surprise of everyone and then, well you said the rest. Meanwhile New England would go on to lose to the Giants _again_ in the Super Bowl, with Brady leading one of the league's worst defenses.
What an odd year.

I would rather play in the mud than turf, the turf doesn’t make it any easier anyways and the mud gives you that backyard football vibe from when you and your friends would just play in a field or dirt when you were younger

This was my first NFL game and talk about a wild one. Tried to stay in the stands but it got ridiculous. We were all shoulder to shoulder watching the Jags score that touchdown from the concourse. The field had a moat around it when we came out for the second half. Cam's first win in the NFL as well.
And the weather predicted a 20% chance of rain 😂😂😂
I was at that game and it was so incredibly cold when the wind would blow after it finished raining. The guy next to me offered a poncho but I kept refusing it cause it had a Panther logo on it and I'm a Jags fan.

I was at this game with my daughter, in the upper deck...Panthers fans generally refer to it as the "Monsoon Bowl", and yes, it was crazy how much rain just suddenly poured down from out of nowhere. We stayed for the entire game, as it was really tight, and we figured that at a certain point you can only get so wet...
