- Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League has destroyed the legacy of the Batman Arkham Series aswell as the legacy of Kevin Conroy. And it did this by killing the Arkham Batman.
It has become evident that the new Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League video game has woke activist writers and creatives involved in its making who not only carelessly and insultingly killed the Rocksteady Batman, but also killed off the rest of the Justice League aswell.
All the male superheroes were killed off in very rushed and disrespectful ways.
Meanwhile Wonder Woman (the only female Justice League member in this game) was given a very honourable death. And the only reason I can gather, is because she is a Woman, and the creatives behind it are woke activists.
This is how Rocksteady died. Warner Bros and Rocksteady should be ashamed of themselves!

This death is arguably worse than Joel's and Jake Skywalker's. They made Batman betray everything he stood for, murdering innocent people; they made him succumb to mind control, which is the very thing he heroically overcame in Arkham Knight, rendering that story arc meaningless; and then they had "Harley for a modern audience" lecture him before killing him. My goodness. Joel and Luke at least went out with some elements of their characters intact.
Batman Death in Gotham Knights at least didn't have him be a Murderer.

Ok, so everything he did in this game was a product of mind control, he killed innocents because of mind control, so need to make an excuse for that, but are you seriously telling me that after Arkham Knight, he is now completely immune to any and every form of mind control from any being, even an alien who's apparently near God Level? Come on man, that just doesn't make sense. Confronting and beating your greatest fear isn't the same as mind control. In Arkham Knight he had to face his worst fears for the entire game. In SSKJL he clearly didn't have time to fight it. By the way, isn't it kind of poetic? Batman was born by a gun and killed by a gun. Obviously not the greatest way you can kill Batman, but not bad at all. Also the Harley scene was clearly sarcasm, she's done things way worse than Batman, so her lecturing him was clearly supposed to be taken as a joke,not seriously

It's not about Batman being immune to all mind control; this version of Batman is the same one who is used to punting Harley Quinn around; it's the same one who defeated everyone in Arkham Asylum and overcame becoming a Titan through sheer will alone, despite everything he had just gone through.
Think of it this way: suddenly Brainiac appears and tries to mind-control the same Batman who was able to resist similar effects from Scarecrow, Ra'as Ghul, and Mad Hatter. Then Brainiac turns Batman into, literally, the same thing that Joker wanted to turn him into in Knight, an effect that he overcame, because yes.
Not only that, we are talking about a Batman without any "no killing" rules. You're telling me these chumps can take down a Batman who is willing to kill them? Hell no, dude.
I suggest you take a look at Batman: Assault on Arkham and see and watch how the Suicide Squad actually gets folded by Batman without it even being a contest.
Hell, some argue that a bullet from Harley's gun should not have killed Batman in the first place because his mask would have likely deflected it, and the shot would not have had enough power at the range Harley had shot him at, given that her gun was a revolver that was not designed to shoot from close range. Even these details show that Batman's death had absolutely no thought put into it. There is literally nothing poetic about it.

I have seen a lot of lame and disrespectful deaths of beloved characters like Luke Skywalker, John Connor, Joel Miller, etc. and Batman's death in the Suicide Squad Game has got to be one of the worst ones. I am so sick of iconic and beloved characters being treated with little respect. The Entertianment Industry really needs to handle their characters a lot better than this.

Joel miller is a standout because he really wasnt a morally clean person form the beginning in contrast and the game spends time showing that he did what he thought was right and that in the tlou world its just a bitter dilemma. Abby did what she thought was right and joel did what he thought was right. To say he was disrespectfully handled is ignorant of his whole character.

Assuming rocksteady isn’t shut down or anything, retconning ssktjl would be the smartest move they can make. And all they have to do is just say the game took place in a universe similar to the Arkham one but not actually it or they could just flat out ignore the game and I’m sure nobody will care.

The game at various times refrences events and characters from the Arkham games so it's clearly supposed to be seen as a proper continuation but it's not sincere in anyway. It's just trying to ride off it's coattails.

It would have made much more sense context wise if arkham batman would be the one helping the Squad in correlation to the previous instalments. And they could let him die, sure, but in BANG of a way. Perhaps he could sacrifice himself for the world and the squad cause perhaps there would be understanding, that only they have the means to stop brainiac and he would die sacrificing himself while staring Braniac dead in the eye. And would be very touching and very ceremonious. That would be a way to go for The Arkham Batman, but no. They had to make WW the only one who is outside Braniacs control, while the dudes of JL are brainwashed and evil... Jee I WONDER why is that... It’s not a trilogy, there are 4 Arkham games.
Actually he'll also voice roles in Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3 (or 2) and the upcoming Caped Crusader series.
Honestly they should’ve swapped the roles with Batman and Wonder Woman. Or have both Batman and Wonder Woman die to Superman, failing to neutralize him. It would’ve been a better send off than what rocksteady pulled off

Gotham Knights did 'killing Batman' so much better. He got to go out in style, taking down Ra'as al Ghul in an epic final battle, and more importantly, his Bat Family was there to mourn him, try to follow in his footsteps, worry whether they could ever be as good as he was... it wasn't perfect, but it was so much better than what Suicide Squad gave us.
Rocksteady literally got indoctrinated by some brainiacs who thought just because they can scribble with pen on paper people will automatically applaud their work.

If the original heads of rocksteady made this game and they decided to have the game kill Batman, they would have done it in a respectful way; not just for fans of the Batman Arkham series but also for Kevin Conroy since this game is the last time he voiced Batman before he died. Kevin Conroy was THE Batman and just killing off Batman like he’s nothing is an absolute disgrace to the legacy of Kevin. Now that the game has been released, every fan of the Arkham series is going to hear the sound of Kevin Conroy rolling in his grave. Shame on you, new heads of rocksteady for putting a stain on the legacy of Conroy, a man who had voiced one of the most popular comic book characters for 30 years. Fans will never forgive you, myself included.

At First I was skeptical that the Justice League would be killed by the Suicide Squad but I thought WB mislead us and that they would Unbrainwashed later, but then when they Announced that this will be connected to the Arkham Series I was one of the few people who saw the Red Flags, then Kevin Conroy passed away and this would have been one of the Last Roles( with Crisis Part 3 seemingly being his Final Role), and don’t get me started on the multiple Delays for 3 Goddamn Years, the Shooting Mechanic, and the Live Server B$, I knew that this would be not just a Bad Game, but a Insult to DC and Arkham Fans that would have loved to see Rocksteady make either a Superman, Batman Beyond, or Justice League Game but now it’s clear that the Original People behind the Arkham Games have left and are given the Keys to New People that don’t understand what they’re doing that would lead this Once Great Company into Bankruptcy in the Most Distasteful Way Possible, Nobody in their Right Minds would want a Game that you killed off Some of your Favorite Heroes in Cold Blood, I have a lot to say but I’m saving this for later, all I can Say is that MK1 and Spider-Man 2 are far better than this Abomination that I wish was Cancelled completely.

For a game that practically spells out The Batman's doom in its title, the way he perished and the event as a whole felt embarassing and upsetting. He did not leave in a particularly memorable or touching way, and that is what stings the most...
We know Kevin Conroy is no longer alive, but Batman itself did not have to die, because, without a doubt, if we could all choose another way to bid farewell to the Dark Knight and his beloved Arkham franchise, it would not be this one.
At the very least, we won't have to keep anticipating anything from the Arkham franchise's future in the hands of the new Rocksteady Studios.
It's difficult to accept that many people's beloved childhoods are coming to an end in such a bittersweet fashion, but it's just the result of developers and game companies no longer wishing to create games that people can actually enjoy.
They need to do something about that. If most of a studio leaves change the freaking name.
Sweet Baby Inc worked on the stories of not only this game, but recently GoW:Ragnarok, Spiderman 2 and Alan Wake 2 These games all have something in common with how they treat white male characters

@EricCarter12, there were many instances in this game where Harley Quinn was such a creep, where she was hitting on Poison Ivy, who just reincarnated into a child and referred to her as "Fun-size" and slapping Deathshot's butt in another scene, it just super gross and downright disgusting, wouldn't you agree?

Yes I would agree. And it's especially hypocritical when you consider what the reaction would be if the roles were reversed.
These specific types of activists are disgusting. They don't mind if gross stuff happens, just so long as it's a woman doing it, or women doing it to men, then it's okay.
It should be considered bad for BOTH genders. Not just one.

@EricCarter12 Another reason why people hate this game is because of 3 words: Sweet Baby Inc. They are ones who are regulating these recent western AAA games like this and Spider-man 2, and they are the reason why this game (including certain aspects of Spider-man 2) suck! I recommend you to look them up.

@@wickdaline8668 Resurrection was dumb fun. Yes, it has really questionable things in it and it can be parody level but it was still dumb fun. But we’re entitled to our own opinions. Alien 3 on a technical level and the thematic themes was really good. But them killing off the characters from Aliens in a disrespectful way makes the ending to that film pointless. It ruins it. Sorry, but I can’t get behind its story. But yes I agree that Resurrection was bonkers.

In my head, I just imagine that this game is in an elseworld/alternate universe version of the main arkham universe. I mean, Batman wouldn't just simply join the justice League right after faking his death. That scene would've meant nothing if it just led for him to join the justice League
