My favorite part is the firing rate of the ogre bow being once every 20 minutes. It really encourages you to appreciate the fine delicate artistry that goes into the process of chompy hunting.

What’s crazy is how even when using ogre comp bow and rune brutal, which is supposed to be bis for chompies, you still consistently only hit somewhere between 3-6, rather than just 1 shotting them most of the time

Yeah but not worth plucking because it doesn't give you another kill. You'll have pet by 4k from just killing the exotic birds that are probably endangered

Time for a story from long ago. The last time i was a member was when this content was released. I LOVED IT! got a few hundred kills before my ship ran out and kept the hat i had earned for years until i finally ditched it. Is the grind ridiculous? Yes, but this is a grind i would thoroughly enjoy.

In RS3, a cannon will work as long as you have the bow equipped. Still too exciting for me to try.

I avoided chompys like a plague my whole rs career. I never realised you didn't have to pluck them for it to count... and you didn't have to re-inflate toads every kill.

Banger idea. And level 1 you get regular chompies, and then at level 50 you get orange chompies which are identical but half exp
Dont forget how an activity that literally has the word "hunting" in it and has you setting bait to hunt an animal does not give any hunting exp. Because that would just make too much sense!
Because it's meant to be done for the vibes, not the exp
