Chompy Hunting Guide OSRS (300/hr) Elite Void 2020

- Chompy hunting is required for a breadth of content, all of the western diaries require some amount of chompies to be hunted, which in turn are required to unlock elite void. After completing the elite diaries, you can continue to hunt chompies for further ogre hats or the chance at receiving a chompy chick pet at a rate of 1/500, the most common pet in the game. Nearly every account will need to hunt chompies at some point.

Drop Trick is no longer needed to get multiple Bellows. The chest gives you an option of how many you'd like to take, similar to the cooking interface.

You no longer need to do the drop trick to get multiple bellows. It has the same take x interface that skilling does.

Was checking the wiki for the odds of the pet, it there says only when completed elite diary you are eligible for the pet! So, don't pluck untill you have that completed!
1:33 Do you really need an extra inv spot if you don't have a pet following you already?
If you're doing dharoking at mole, I always use one of the double heal rate things because it'll heal the 10 dmg from the divine potion by the time it runs out
But that means you will be 6 hp on average which makes your hits worse than by just drinking a normal combat pot and sip it every 5 minutes.
I mean a normal super combat pot ofcourse
I did this in graceful, insignificant dps reduction, run around all you want, never run out of energy

I'll be using this to hunt for my chompy pet. Unrelated but is it better at Pyramid Plunder to search the urn or check for snakes?
Last time I did pyramid plunder was when I played RS2, but iirc searching for snakes is a waste of time

That's part of that external chompy plugin, although you can also do it with the npc indicator plugin

cant recommend rune arrows enough. you dont really spend alot of arrows with assembler and u save alot of time
Dude, it's October of 2023 and I just realized I can place down more than 3 bloated toads at a time, to add insult to injury I also realized this at 802kc. Did I mention I also plucked all 802 of those as well for the count? Ahahahaha
You only need partial completion of Zogre Flesh Eaters! You don't need to fight the boss!
Some things of note:
- His area is next to Castle Wars
- The Chompy chick can only be obtained by players who have completed the elite Western Provinces diary and received its rewards.
You really don't need ranged accuracy gear - they have lvl 3 def and no defensive bonuses, giving you a pretty much 100% hit chance at high ranged lvl. I just bring graceful for the +run energy & ava's device to save arrows.
I’ve never been able to get anywhere near 300/hr with max range and addy brutals. I’ve been sitting around 200/hr with the hard diary complete.

1/500 "the most comment pet in the game" Chaos elemental is 1/300
"Common" and I believe he is implying that the high kill count per hour with the drop rate makes it a quick pet to get in killing/hr. Can't kill 200-300 Chaos ele per hour
He didn't mention the pet was locked behind the elite diary.

He meant it's the most common as a drop. It has the lowest drop rate of any pet (aside from sporadic bosses like Skotizo).

Let me just tell everyone, Chompy is certainly NOT the most common pet in game. Requires elite diary completion. Even if referencing the drop rate, Skotizo would technically have the lowest at 1/64.

The pet was so easy 😂. I went over by 381 kills for the elite diary by accident. Went back to hunt for the pet. Got it in 124 kills. Less than an hour.
It is really the most common skilling pet since it's free from slayer grind. But the most common boss pet is probably kraken
at least now you have a 1/5k chance to get pet without elite diary... lol better than nothing
this HAS to be a troll to get people to pluck for no reason because there is no credible source for this claim
