I love Jesus, even though I continually do wrong. I hope and lean onto him that one day I will get out of these grooves by his grace. It’s a journey and it’s worth the pain and suffering.
Keep trying. Bring it to confession, name it, pray about it, fight, bring it back if you fail, and one day you'll realise that you are free. I had three persistent, habitual sins that I thought I'd never get rid of, and last year I suddenly realised that the temptations to sin in those areas had literally vanished. Now, that's not to say I'm perfect - it gave me space to look and see other areas I hadn't noticed were sinful because the others were so entrenched. But now I know what the pattern is. I promise you, if you keep faithful to the Promises of Christ and go to confession, Mass, say the rosary and trust you absolutely will be liberated.

How do you come up with these fresh uplifting timeless messages? the Holy Spirit? Love for God? Out of love for me and my bretheren? Keep on saving souls . . .
I've learned with in the past few years the power if prayer, and how God can help us of we ask. Like the woman who was hemereging for years and thought if she just touched our Lord's clothes that she would be healed. And she was, but our Lord asked who touched Him. Of course He's God, so it's not like He didn't know, but it shows that He wants us to ask Him for help. And in my experience I've seen where things are way easier when I pray for help.
It’s hard to try to get out of those grooves when you’ve had them your whole life, and it’s hard to realize that sometimes you gotta take a step back and talk to god for a moment before going back to trying to get your self back

I wish i could talk to Father Mike. So many questions...
That sounds groovy.
It's not a groove. It's a big pit I'm stuck in. A huge pit I can't get out of. Everyday I pray for serenity and strength to change my surroundings to climb out of the pit and every day it stays the same.
Sometimes, we have to learn how to get out of the grooves even if we’re in not good surroundings.

The reason you keep sinning the same sins is that through Roman Catholicism you are never actually saved and Born Again. When you are born again, God gives you a new heart where you hate sin and the Holy Spirit enters you and guides you to avoid sin as much as possible.
You will love what God loves, and hate what God hates. So you see, you are never Born Again in Roman Catholicism, you just keep sinning as much as always.
Jesus died for all sin, He completed His mission, so that if you accept Him and repent , your past present and future sins will all be imputed onto Him and He will impute His Righteousness onto you.
Big buzz sound....your personal interpretation is wrong. You'll remain in error as long as you reject the interpretation of the Holy Spirit that he entrusted to his Catholic Church.
