As an FNF player who's normally top 20-30% or even higher in FNB and FF but who gets absolutely _demolished_ in Osu!Mania online, I really appreciate this video! For instance, I learned that I was very good at streams (bc FNF lol) but really bad at LNs (bc FNF doesn't normally do LNs with other rice at the same time, as well as Osu!Mania requiring you to let go at the appropriate time as well), so now I know what to practice!

as a competative tournament player who is rank 3k on mania and 99 on quaver(even thoguh rank doesnt matter)
this video feels like it could definitely ruin your mindset due to your fixation on rank. When talking about goals u only talked about rank when talking about progression u only talk about rank. The main problen with ranj is by 4 digit there is a big divide on people who constantly farm and people who barely farm and causes ranks to be the most inaccurate thing on every single vsrg. Another problem is you never mentioned key skillsets like ratio and side catagories for ln (density release tech etc) and also differenciated jack and rice(even though jacks are literally the most rice thing ever)
certain things that are key to understand your playstyke including skin,scrollspeed,scroll direction and mod preferences(hidden) are not talked about even though they are a key part to understanding the best way you play and improve.
I reccomend before creating a guide to get more experience with different maps(download graveyard maps and etterna converts),play in tournaments and just understand that rank means basically nothing.
The key thing to improve is ti have fun and try to not overfocus on rank or dans or leadorboards and i feel like overall u didnt show that from what i said above
I agree I left out skinning and scroll speed which is very important thank you, but I did mention things like acc mains, but sadly I didn't go into depth about them as I don't have any experience on it, maybe in a revised version I could bring someone with experience onto the video. I also did talk about rank being a good goal yeah but i did also say playing unranked maps around specific skillsets you want to improve in is also very important, alongside setting other goals like joining tourneys and improving neglected skillsets. Also I didn't think to mention hidden as i don't think it is necessarily related to improvement but just something that makes the game different, although I definitely should have mentioned hardrock.
Also when i say rice and jack thats just my dumb brain XD i put a subtitle in, when i said rice i was talking about streams haha
My intention with focusing the info around rank ranges was just to make a clear and structured video, as no matter what people do or think, the ranking system is still a somewhat effective system at the big ranges, because the whole of 4 digit is known to be more towards the upper peak of skill, whereas 5 digit is mid range, and 6 digit is new to the game, which helped structure the video and make it clearer for these people. I don't fully agree with everything you said but I definitely think you're right on most of it, maybe I should of put more emphasis on not focusing on ranks, but it is still important to actually farm sometimes because it is a great motivator, you shouldn't ignore ranks altogether XD but I really appreciate the feedback and I'll definitely put more focus into future videos like this

one thing is also important, is ''dan''.
if you don't know what is ''dan''is you need to run away far as possible.
if you know and you started to addicted to dan, will i only can say is you need to stop grinding too much now because dan it just a little achievement not ''dan=skill'', dan is just like rank, if u clear a dan but you only get good at the dan map to clear it is not going to help you anyway
Here my personal advice is:play dan only 1or2 time per week and don't grinding the dan map because is not going to help you.

The reason i didn't mention dans in this video is because I'm planning on making a whole video on just dans.
Also they aren't nesccasairly related to improving, but are used to MEASURE improvement, which is of course just as important, but anyways I will actually try to give an objective view on dans and might even bring on a special guest to speak about them.
But overall they are bad, and in my personal opinion avoiding playing them at all is the best thing to do XD

I really don't like when people say "play more" as I explained in the video that's like saying work harder. Work smarter not harder, figure out what you need to practice, take days off, get good sleep, go outside, and practice
