    Hi a great video!
    Have replaced everything from the cylinder head to the camshaft on my mazda cx5 last week. Currently I have a problem that the warm engine starts to jerk from 2000 rpm and has no power. When cold everything runs great and the engine runs smoothly. Maybe you have an idea?

      @@JB_Auto Greetings JB_Auto. I plan to buy a Mazda 6 Skyactiv D 184 from 2019 or 2020, I believe that these models have fixed the problems that appeared in earlier series, can you confirm that for me. If I saw well in the video about 1 : 10 deposits can be seen around the 2nd and 4th injectors, is there a way to detect this without removing the valve cover and how, can this be heard when the oil filler cap on the valve cover is removed and are gases passing through next to the injector.Thanks in advance for the response and greetings from Croatia🙂🙂

      @@matohorvat5688 Hi, yes they are reliable, the AdBlue system makes engines much cleaner, meaning no soot buildup, very nice tuned engines, we haven't experienced any problems with them. ( the old versions up to 2013 Sept. problems were appearing in the first year of use. After that period those 2.2 D undergone heavy modifications and are constantly improved, I would buy anything after 2015 because of the facelift and much better appearance.)

    Hello
    I recently acquired a 2015 Mazda CX-5 Skyactiv Diesel (Japanese version) with 104,000 km on the odometer. The car is in excellent condition and runs smoothly, typically achieving 15.7 km/l. However, I encountered an issue while stuck in traffic. Even though I always keep the start-stop system turned off, the engine unexpectedly stalled. Fortunately, I was able to restart it instantly, and it resumed normal operation.
    Do you have any insights or advice on what might be causing this intermittent stalling issue in slow-moving traffic? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or things I should investigate further.
    Thank you

    Hi,
    I am working on a 2013 Mazda 6 2.2. I have replaced the exhaust camshaft as it was worn, also the rocker arms and the tappets on the exhaust side. Put new valve cover seal with oval injector oil seals, also replaced injector washers. The problem is that the car has rough idle, but no fault codes initially. So I have checked the injector correction values and the learned values as well. 3 out of 4 correction values are around 7 and the last one is -7. Also the learned values are all 0 except the last MPA setting for them which is on -4. So I have reset the learned values, tried to perform the adaptation (jump the pin to the ground 5x quickly). as I don't have forscan yet. It starts it, but then aborts and the glow plug light flashes and the check engine light is on.
    It gives the p1200 fault code. I am getting the compression test done tomorrow and also will try to carry out the adaptation with forscan. But do you have any rough idea what it could be or why it doesn't perform the adaptation? The symptoms are rough running up till around 2k rpm and white smoke from the exhaust, that's why I think it has to do with the adaptation. Had the same symptom on a Ford 1.6 tdci, done the adaptation although it was a bit different that this but after it worked.
    Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!!!

    • @JB_Auto
      @JB_Auto  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Correction values should be around 0 you usually see on plus and minus side 0.01 0.4 if they are over 1 you should replace them, correction should be performed ECT at over 70 degrees of C fuel temp I do not remember exactly but have it over 50°C and air intake approx temp. over 30°C if temperatures are lower then it will not go.

    • @MrNiceGuy94
      @MrNiceGuy94 Před 8 měsíci

      @@JB_Auto thanks for your reply. So if it is above +-1 is way off? I have done the adaptation when the engine was proper warm, meaning the ECT was even over 80 degrees or even 90.
      I have another set of used injectors at hand, I will try to use them.
      But how come the car was running okay before the replacement and after it has adaptation problems?

    • @JB_Auto
      @JB_Auto  Před 8 měsíci

      Well, you can say that the above 1 is way off, I would say qualifies for a replacement. I have never had problems with adaptation, I would check all the parameters related to air, fuel, and temperature if sth is off then you will not perform the adaptation.

    • @MrNiceGuy94
      @MrNiceGuy94 Před 8 měsíci

      @@JB_Auto a little update if you are interested.
      So I swapped the injectors.. same result. I guess the injectors are fine as my scantool(autel) show range for the correction between 10- (-10) for acceptable, so assuming your one show from -1 to 1.
      I have done the compression test and cyl has 0 compression.
      What do you think? Can it be a burnt valve? How comes that it wasn't showing before the repair? Did the injectors compensate for it? Or I messed up something?

    I have a 2016 Mazda 3 - Skyactiv 2.2. A year or so ago the head gasket had to be replaced, and following the repair, the car continued to show an error with the camshaft sensor. Sadly the garage that did the work wouldn’t accept responsibility. Then .. just a few days ago, things went really wrong. The car wouldn’t start properly and the new repair garage tell me they can’t fix it without it potentially being very expensive. They found the chain that connects to the oil pump in the oil sump pan along with a few dowels. So .. now, no car and I don’t know what to do with it except scrap it .. which is just so painful to do 😢

    • @JB_Auto
      @JB_Auto  Před 2 měsíci

      A year ago, you say. I'm curious: what was the fault code? Was it related to correlation? How many miles has the car driven since then? During their job, they should have noticed that the oil pump tensioner had some wear or even the chain itself. There could also be an inexperienced car mechanic who hasn't seen that the parts had some wear. Anyway, it will be impossible to prove their wrongdoing. Often, when we do that kind of repair, we inspect the most vulnerable parts of the engine and advise customers on what should be done additionally. Based on your description, it will be expensive, sorry.
