      here we dont use gloves, we use wour skin as gloves to wash turbo with gasoline...and we love it, its a good antiviral liquid.

    I live in the UK and worked as a mechanic. No way would we do it like those boys. This is the problem today, just technicians not mechanics. These men are awesome.

      im okay with the disassembly but the assembly is kinda bad ...the orange o ring is not seated properly notice how twisted it is also soft hammers needs to be used here with assembly to minimize the chances of cracking , its also funny he used gasket maker on a metal gasket designed to take high temperatures unlike that blue lotion he just rubbed thinking that he is doing him a favor by adding it looool (gasket maker)

    First time I've seen these guys working on a proper bench. That young fellow is a good apprentice, he'll be taking over the work soon.
    It's good to watch these folks work, it's kind of like what it was here back when I was a young'un helping my old Dad fixing cars in his shed.

    Here in the UK reconditioned turbos are very expensive but new cores can be had at a very fair price. They are fairly easy to take apart and do yourself similar to this video but most people seem to be afraid of this. They normally fail due to blocked oil lines due to lack of proper overall engine servicing.

      Скорее всего это ABBRO Gray 999. Только вот в инструкции написано, что нужно после намазывания 10 минут подождать, а потом собирать конструкцию. А они намазали и в путь! Подсос воздуха неизбежен. Точнее утечка.

    You can see a lot of experience in the renovation of turbochargers. Young boys are already learning this job. That's good because practice makes perfect. I first studied with a blacksmith, Mr. Józef. He could repair wheels, carts and perform other blacksmith and locksmith work on large drills. Congratulations 😄.

      Силиконовым герметиком мазать соединение где темпер мае несколько тысяч градусов..... Щедеврально. Паки так и в Японии машины делают. На отыбись.

      Герметик это мелочи. Они после того как крыльчатки с вала сняли, не отбалансировали заново вал с крыльчатками заново. Без балансировки можно выкидывать эту турбину - никакого толку с нее не будет.

    never use silicone on a turbo, it will clog up and the turbo needs to rebuild again.

      Эта турбина не будет работать. После того как крыльчатку с вала снял, обратно ее точно так же не поставишь. Балансировать надо на станке специальном. Иначе никакого толку с этой турбины не будет. Она выть будет очень громко и не будет создавать рабочего давления.

      Maybe they needed to order some parts for the one that was disassembled. If that is what happened, the cameraman may not have had the time to wait for the part(s) to come in.

      They did disassemble truck turbo and later assembled passenger car turbo using brand new Toyota turbo cartridge. You can see first turbo parts on the table in the end of the video.

      So you can learn both in the same video, these guys are so efficient they even teach you twice as much as everyone else.... All in the same video!!!
      Besides, putting it back together can be seen by playing the video in reverse.

      Смотрите внимательно! Картридж новый ,крыльчатку в помойку, так как у них песка много ,да и от работы крыльчатка зачастую задевает улиту и снашивается неравномерно ,потому по любому ее в хлам.Видео о том как сменить картридж , собственно ничего такого,а герметиком намазал потому что ценники как на картридж так и на прокладки жаропрочные весьма огого.

      Плоскость горячей части не удосужились хотя бы отторцевать на наждачке, уложенной на ровную плиту, намазали герметик на грязь. Не проверили люфты в клапане, как был нагар внутри, так и оставили, потом недодув будет

      @@shato1832 какая разница какой герметик. По герметику сразу виден уровень ремонта. Чем его больше, тем ниже уровень. Герметик чтобы до "дома" доехать, а не мотор на нем собирать.

      Yeah I think those are two different sets of turbos. Cause the first one is definitely bigger with certain ports and toward the end of the video the ports are different too. Nice observation.

      You're right. They show the turbo they finished with, then switch to beefy Garrett turbo disassembly, then finish of showing the reassembly of the turbo they started with. I think something happened to their video, they might have lost the footage.

      Real Mechanics use their skills is never the tools it is always the skills and knowledge just ask the old timers! The old timers didn't need much and they created amazing pieces of art with a carpentry hammer a dolly and lead lmao

DRILLS..these MEN...no soy boys ..are the Mothers of Necessity so to speak..they take what we in AMERICA would buy KNEW or Refurbed......using the hands and brains and restoration of items many can't afford to replace...so rebuild on SITE...cool to Watch...see the tyre fix one. It's a real patch !!

      Probably going to guess it is high temp silicone. I don't think it's there first rodeo and they are rebuilding this turbo to redo the job in few.
