Most of them have shoes on their feet so I don't think they are in India. How much will it cost in dollars to repair like that? At least 10 people worked on it, but I have no idea how many hours.

I wonder if each workshop specialises in particular engines. They seem to be able to do this stuff in their sleep.

They could at least have washed or even brushed that engine off first - I imagine that recon job will last at least a couple of weeks - If sledging cast parts off dont ruin the job first...That said, an impressive job given the facilities they have

They didn't show how the broken crank was fixed. Was it replaced? Or welded? There's another video of a Pakistani welding a crank of this relevant size.

I think this machine has been badly repaired many times and is being badly repaired once again. unfortunately in the 3rd world sometimes resources are wasted worse than lack of resources. I congratulate all the resourceful guys out there, you are trying to do the best with what you have.

All I can say is,their conditions they work in are not like more fortunate people in shops that are fully equipped & generally clean..However, these guy are getting it done everytime..For that,I say well done..Anyone that has done repairs out in the field, & is being honest,knows it's nowhere near ideal conditions to work in..
