A cheap hack for more privacy I came up with while stealthing years back is buying a roll of 'Fly eye' headlight film and sticking it to the inside side windows. really works well and from the outside blocks anyone from seeing in. it's easy to apply and doesnt bubble as it's perforated. I used black, but there are some funky colours too x

I love the Hovering part of the video.
So satisfying having a clean car!
Which got me thinking. Do you dedicate one day to a through car wash.
I live in the New England salt belt. All winter your car is subjected to chemicals.
I will wash out with a garden hose each fender. Concentrate a stream of water at all the joints where panels meet.
Then spray down the areas where the spinning tire would throw mud.
Open your front doors and spray a stream of water at the bottom where the front fender meets the door opening.
You’ll know when you get it right. Piles of sand will drop out underneath the car.
Sand holds moisture which in turn causes rust.
Look under the car before you start with the water. Make a plan.
Avoid blasting any wires. Light spray is fine but don’t blast.
If you have any garden knee pads get them, to save your skin.

So full of energy in your videos, up lifting. I had to escape my shouting neighbours at home last week. Been 3 nights in my van, deep in the Scottish countryside. Just watched your video, deep in a forest in Morayshire. Bliss at home with nature, living in my van, outside cooking. Best pleasures are the simple ideas. Get a van and have more fun. This morning Shaun (love Sundays) posted a video suggesting he was thinking of getting a small van as a project (to convert quickly and cheaply) and as a back-up as his transit is forever breaking ... he might have some useful info to share
If you can find a van in the best condition you can afford, then make it OK for summer nights with the mattress and kit you already have - once you know it's being reasonably reliable you can do a bit to make it better for cooler months

Well well well. Last Sunday night, I was thinking..my little Pommy mate might drop a video. Alas, I discovered I was suffering from premature jubilation. Nothing worse than having noisy neighbours. Or people that turn into animals when they have a bit of piss inside them. Nice to see that you are getting some sunny weather, even if it is just for a few hours, I’ll be interested to see how much it rains during the summer and compare it to our winter. It hasn’t rained here over the last two weeks And we did have a couple of days of just over 30° but mostly we have been sitting on mid 20s. Apparently we are getting thunderstorms on Tuesday and Wednesday so I have to get my arse into gear today because I’m in the middle of rearranging my ambulance and fitting some more cables for the power and building some more cupboards, etc. yes, you do need a Van to do some decent travelling and stealth camping. I imagine that getting solar must be difficult over there when you don’t see the sun for about 360 days of the year. What was the temperature when you decided to go paddling in the water at that place you call a beach? Over here people don’t generally go to the beach until it’s over 30°. I find 30° is fairly comfortable. It’s funny how people acclimatise. I know a girl from Lithuania. He goes swimming in the black sea when it’s 13°. She can stick that one up her arse. Mind you, I wear shorts and T-shirt all year round anyway. Anyway is it good to see that you are still a hot mess and look forward to your next video and travels. Who knows, you might find a beach over there that looks similar to one of ours. Just kidding ha ha. At the start I was worried for you with those idiots, but then you flip the mood and end up in an impromptu hot tub scene basking at a lodge - such are the fast-paced extremes your content shows! As always, I barely keep up with the pace, and always end up wondering how you breathe lol ;)
Stitch being pampered is nice to see - he's looked after you when it matters, so I look forward to seeing this tent extension thing you've ordered....
I'm counting down the months / weeks until I get to take my FL2 down to my favourite part of Wales for a few weeks of relaxation away from the pace of my normal life, but nothing like your adventures as I don't think I could ever keep up the pace lol ;)

Best recent idea you have had Ellie. Yes, get a van, just make sure if its a used one then it MUST have a full years MOT. That way you at least have a vehicle which has had an
inspection. Also I do advise you to join Green Flag for a year. They have a smartphone breakdown app If you do breakdown and you phone them they know where you are phoning from. Helpful if you do not know the area. Good luck...
Hey Alistair! Yeah as soon as I can I’m getting the van it’s going to be lovely having more space. I had green flag last year and really liked it. Only went to RAC cos they had a deal on but will probably go back to green flag as I agree the app is really good. Thank you for reminding me about getting a full year MOT I’ll do my best to 😊❤️

(because if your that confident it will then you'd have one done right?)
Keep a can of hairspray or something similar next to you when sleeping in Stitch, just for extra security, if anyone does get in spray that in their face , they will soon run off.

I’m in a Volvo estate so blank the windows each night. Bit of pain in bum but does work. If you find better solution please let me know ❤
Hey Mark! Yeah the window situation is a bit annoying at times. I’ve been so tempted to just pay the money and get them tinted really dark. I’ll let you know if I come up with something better. How do you find it finding places you feel safe enough to sleep in every night? It can be a bit of challenge down here ❤️
@@EleanorGraceDiaries I’m not far from you I’m in Taunton, during week have found a spot on long road where commuters park all day/ night so car blends in well. I don’t really get any trouble but always aware just in case. I have tints but would love really dark ones just for piece of mind.
