A while back I did a video about the idea of an Akatsuki free for all among its members and what the result of it would be. While it is an unlikely scenario, I did actually keep everyone in it in character as a way to guide what would happen in that scenario. So for example I had Deidara going for Itachi right off the bat so I knew the free for all would at least start that way for those two. I wouldn’t say that an akatsuki free for all is an impossible scenario, as around half of the members were forced against their will to join and some of the duos had some personal animosity going on. This time around I want to focus on the idea of the akatsuki being split into two factions led by the two leaders of the group. An overlooked fact of the akatsuki is that Nagato was actually completely unaware of Obito’s plan for an infinite tsukuyomi. When Obito first approached him when Yahiko was still alive, he says to Nagato that he wants to help Nagato create his own world instead of help out Obito. Obito even says after this interaction that Nagato probably won’t catch on to his true plan. Now I do believe that Nagato did not trust Obito as Konan did make preparations to fight him for years, but let’s say that these two have a falling out for the sake of the video.
I’ve always wondered what Obito would have done if Pain defeated Naruto so we’ll say that is the context for the video. We’ll also say that all the akatsuki members active at the beginning of part 2 are still alive as well. Alternatively we could say that Nagato decides to confront Obito before the akatsuki mobilizes to get ahead of the curve. Either way this is how it will go down. Pain will expose Tobi as Obito and tell the rest of the Akatsuki that he has bad ulterior motives for the akatsuki. Obito will counter by explaining his plan for the infinite tsukuyomi as a way to hopefully gain support in this mutiny. Since the Akatsuki never seemed to meet in person, we’ll say that this goes down during one of their zoom meetings. Because of this it will allow for both teams to prepare before meeting to fight in a neutral location. Now I have to determine who is going to side with who, so I’ll work my way from the bottom to the top of the akatsuki and explain my reasoning for each placement. After that I can talk about strategies we could see from both sides and likely outcomes of the fight.

I have a question. When Madara was revived, Sasuke used Amaterasu on him and Madara simply discard his shirt. If Sasuke used Kagutsuchi, will he succeed?
That was always a weird moment because Madara just shrugged it off like it was nothing. I think Kishimoto just wanted an outfit change for Madara so I would not think about that moment too seriously.

I think Itachi would pick whichever side he figured has the best chance of leading to completely wiping out the Akatsuki since he doesn't plan on letting either goal be accomplished, though whatever side he took might not matter too much since he'd likely hold back to let the teams wipe each other out. If he figured out Kamui mid-fight like how Kakashi did (I think it's possible because him and Kakashi are similarly smart fighters, it would probably take a coincidence occurring though) I could see him do something like purposefully get sucked into Kamui so he could fight Obito alongside Pain from both sides, at which point Obito would be screwed if he ends up getting jumped by Pain and Itachi from both sides of his dimension. The reason I could see him doing this is because Obito has to be dealt with at some point and this is the best chance he'd get.
How does Itachi plan on getting out of Kamui though ? He is smart enough to know that nobody ever got out of there
@@zenobemuller If Obito dies on his side he can probably take his eye and use it to escape and it could also be possible for him to use the koto crow to make Obito do whatever he wants like how he did to himself. It's a risky gamble but Itachi is the type to be willing to risk everything for the sake of his village. There is a good argument to be made that he wouldn't do it because he couldn't then have his final battle with Sasuke though.
@@Anno_AD well the real reason he wanted to give Sasuke a final battle is to unlock his mangekeyo sharingan so he would be powerful enough to defend himself against people primarily Obito. So by killing Obito he stopped the one person who'd be his biggest threat. Because who else would could kill this current version of Sasuke who would be protected by team taka if Obito and pain were killed. Naruto wouldn't and I think the only living people that could possibly be onoki and might guy in 7th or 8th gate. So taking out obito with pain then turning on pain and taking him out would be the best bet for taking out the biggest two threats to Sasuke even if it costs him his life.
a much safer route is to make one of the pains to get sucked into kamui and kill obito while he’s using kamui against someone

I think it’s actually just as likely for Itachi to join Pain here. Itachi himself killed his family in order to ensure another war doesn’t start and to maintain peace. Pain’s values line up with that perfectly. Pain wants to use this weapon to kill a group of people, and prevent further wars by scaring people through that smaller act of destruction. Itachi and Pain both share a lot of similarities in that regard and Itachi might actually believe in Pain’s plan.
Even if he doesn’t agree with Pain, I think Itachi’s ultimate goal would be to kill Obito. Obito is the bigger threat in Itachi’s eyes, considering that all of his plans post death involved Obito being weakened or dying and he’s not as concerned with Pain. So if he can work with Pain and kill Obito, I think he’d take the chance and fight with Pain to stab Obito in the back. It would also make the teams more fair since Pain’s team would have the #2 and #3 while Obito’s would have the #1 and #4 strongest members.
its actually heavily suggested that itachi's last act against the akatsuki was to kill both pain and obito an with them gone it woulda split the group as the members have no dire loyalty to the akatsuki's goal if you exclude konan and kisame.
it may have even been itachi who told jiraiya that pain was hiding in the hidden rain as well.
this also doesnt consider kisame. his whole thing is loyalty, he joined the akatsuki to work under pain and is a close friend with itachi. hed definitely choose those 2 over some masked guy claiming to be a 150 year old war criminal that hes never met
@@AidenB1010 Kisame only joined the Akatsuki because Obito invited him. He wasn’t working for Pain. His loyalty definitely follows Obito. Of course, idk if he’d change his mind after seeing Itachi on the other side or not.
Itachi would probably side with Pain because he thinks Obito is Uchiha Madara himself so he would see him as the bigger threat

You should read Sasuke vs Deidara again, Deidara fooled Sasuke into looking like he was caught in the genjutsu but he already saw through it
There's that and the fact Itachi, unlike Sasuke, DOESN'T use lightning style so he's not just negating Deidara's abilities
Rinne rebirth killed nagato because he used the rest of his chakra. Konan knew about the ability before he used it and stated it. This implies that she has seen him use it before. This would mean that Obito said he would die because he didn’t have enough chakra. Technically, nagato can use it and survive as long as he has enough chakra. Also it would not require nearly as much chakra as it did when he revived the leaf because he would be reviving significantly less people.
Would have been cool if zou used Orochimaru and Sasuke's team in this since I imagine both would join Pain's team which could even things out

I don't agree with Itachi. Itachi understood Tobi's true nature and knew he would have to be stopped. Maybe he would backstab him but never forget Tobi and Itachi were never friends and never trusted each other. I don't see him not siding with Pain, at least as a double agent. He even placed a contingency Amaterasu inside of Sasuke to keep Tobi away.
I think thats EXACTLY why he sides with Obito. To be closer to his enemy. He can just go easy on Team Pain and maybe even (secretly) backstab Team Obito members and then just balance the numbers out for the rest of the fight so that in the end everybody dies.

@@ZeroX7649 maybe you remember it wrong, but Obito was about to backstab Konan, not the other way around lol and there is nothing in canon suggesting that Obito knew that Itachi was FULLY dedicated to Konoha and would even go as far as backstab someone in the Akatsuki. Or else Obito would have just murked him.
Even though Itachi is a strong fighter, him alone against the whole Akatsuki would end very badly and even without him they would have captured all the tailed beasts. So he was not really "expected" to backstab someone, nor was he essential to the Akatsuki. He was just more neutral so to speak than some others.

And he had other reasons for agreeing. He KNEW Itachi was going to go against his goals, he just didn't have the resources to outlast if a Civil War, exactly like this, happened. He would never be able to take out Pain and Itachi without the Rinnegan in his possession. Itachi and Obito were not friends by any means. He specifically left an Amaterasu on Sasuke solely to kill Obito should he ever come in contact. He knew he was behind the 9 tails attack. He knew how dangerous he was.

We are talking about Akatsuki vs Itachi in this case and I was referring to how in the actual story Obito never used Pain and the rest of the Akatsuki to get rid of Itachi, which would have been easy. That means he was not expected to backstab them at all. If Obito knew Itachi was a spy and working against the Akatsuki, there would be no use keeping him alive as he was not essential in obtaining the tailed beasts. He only feared him protecting Konoha, not actively murking Akatsuki members.

Obito did not know that Itachi knew. Nobody is saying Itachi wasnt actively working against Obito, just that Obito did not know about it.
Itachi would pick pain, he understands that obitos abilities are far too op to take on his own. If he wanted the destruction of the akatsuki, he would side with pain to take down obito, and from there it would be much easier to dismantle the akatsuki since pain is a lesser threat.
I understand the teams and this was a great video but I honestly don’t see a scenario in which Itachi teams with Obito even if pains end goal is worse overall. I say this because Itachi was most concerned with “Madara” you said yourself in the video that Itachi wants the Akatsuki to be destroyed. Itachi should know that Obito is his greatest threat so I believe his calculated mind would want to take out his greatest threat first then try to take Nagato down later
I think the real winner will be Itachi. He tried killing Obito using Amaterasu after his death and Pain's world of constant war would be a nightmare for him. Since both leaders will be distracted and significantly weaker during their fight, there should be some opportunities to take them out without too much risk.
If Danzo's subordinates found out that Obito is vulnerable while sucking things inside Kamui, Itachi should have a plan ready pretty fast or at least be capable of exploiting an opportunity during the leaders' fight.
1. Stab Obito with the Totsuka blade while he is busy fighting Pain.
2. Manipulate someone to stab Obito while he is busy fighting Pain.
3. Pretend to take out someone with genjutsu then surprise attack Obito.
4. Hey Obito I have a plan! Let me explain it to you secretly inside Tsukuyomi... Boom 72h of torture and a coma.
5. Send an exploding shadow clone in Kamui and tell Obito to teleport it on someone (basically like deidara's minefield), but blow it up inside Kamui.
6. The fucking Kotoamatsukami crow shouldn't be inside Naruto yet.
After fighting Obito, Pain will be fatigued and Itachi will have a fair chance to take him out too. Even if he doesn't do it immediatly, Itachi will have earned Pain's trust so he will probably get some better opportunities. Especially if he goes to talk to Nagato he can just light him up.
Obito is not retarded, he's not letting Itachi put him in Tsukuyomi.

Itachi has no reason to help either side. At this point he has all the intel he needs, he will only move to ensure the akatsuki collapses completely. Itachi would also have an advantage of just lying about who he teams with and just betrays them. He'd probably genjutsu whoever tries to confront him and just hide/evade vision till an opportunity to kill both nagato and obito arises. Itachi probably fights this way regardless of whether the opportunity to actually do so occurs.
Depending on how much info itachi gets, his secondary goal would just be sealing nagato himself with totsuka blade since it would destroy the rinnegan thwarting both plans.
Imo itachi could even decide to pretend to be with obito and tsyukuyomi kisame/obito at the start. Very unlikely either faction wins.

You could have made this battle a lot more fair if you included Orochimaru on the opposite side of Itachi. Not sure exactly how that would fit into your scenario but just an idea. Alternatively, including Taka Sasuke could also have helped make this fight more even.

May I suggest a scenario where one of the other members uses an assist to keep Deidara out of Genjutsu. One such technique would be to use Konan's paper as a chakra transmitter to zap him out. Otherwise on of Pain's weaker bodies can keep Deidara supplied with chakra riding on his bird. Pain can also utilize his shared vision from atop the bird to A.) Protect Deidara from Obito by giving advanced warning and B.) Analyze the battlefield. Thus making it a potential benefit as opposed to just weakening Pain.
There's definitely a version of this fight where Pain splits up his bodies to team with all of his fighters and provide intel. With Konan running master strategies and Pain's bodies to communicate this provides seriously different battle.
The end results might just be the same. But damn would it be a closer fight.

I think the only way team pain has a chance is by super outstrategying the other team. Obviously that’s not happening since the other team has Obito and Itachi but just for the sake of argument, I just see Hidan sitting in his ritual circle in the back, waiting for someone to get him blood from the other team. Pain would know sending him out front would be pointless since he’s by far the weakest. That said, if they can get Kisame or Itachi’s blood, Hidan could one shot them so long as he remains far enough from the fight to avoid getting destroyed.
Even with this as their aim, it’s hard because there are two Uchiha’s who know about Izanagi on the other team and that’s a tough sell. Still, it’s a plan I could see them coming up with and it would at least give them a shot. I also think if Deidara uses a clay clone against Itachi as opposed to fighting with his actual body, he has a lot better chance of being useful instead of a hindrance.

Video Idea: Team 7&8 with captain Yamato and Kakashi find Itachi and kisame before Sasuke does.
I think Pain can also recruit Sasori if he reveal that he can resurrect people with his rinnegan since Chiyo’s effort to create her own reanimating jutsu moved him. And Sasori’s dream since childhood was to get his parents back. Not to mention with Pain having the chakra of all tailed beasts, he can make it so they can live on indefinitely. It’d come down to if Sasori prefer an infinite dream or an eternal reality with his parents.
another thing to keep in mind with Sasori is he's actually really powerful. Hiruko shell has insane poison that no one on Pain's team has a counter to. is what i would say if they weren't all immortal, or a literal s*icide bomber. the Third Kazekage puppet will still be a huge problem for them tho, and to counter the numbers advantage Pain has over Obito: Sasori has 100 puppets. and unlike Jiraiya & Naruto who had to take them out individually, Sasori can just use all his puppets at once to take them out at the same time. like Madara did with his wood clones against the Gokage.
the more interesting part, in my opinion: is what happens next. after this mutiny, most of the Akatsuki would either be dead or critically injured. i could even see this being the point Itachi betrays Obito, and delivering his head to the Leaf Village. at that point he would truly be a rogue ninja. but the plot of the story would be so drastically changed due to this event. "what happens next?" becomes an ever more challenging question.

Completely disagree with itachi being on obito’s side. He’d definitely join pain as he probably see pains vision as more stoppable and less crazy. And this would be an opportunity to stop more threatening akastuki members. Those are the major things I disagree with in this video. Itachi was always livid about using tsukiyomi if he didn’t have to so why he support doing it to the whole world?
Also I am pretty sure if the human path gets a grasp on obitos soul and starts pulling it, obito can’t just make his soul intangible.
Provided Itachi joins pain's side, here's how the fight initially starts. The fighters pair off. Pain vs obito, itachi vs kisame, deidara vs sasori, and kakuzu + hidan vs black/white zetsu, with konan simply leaving to protect nagatos real body. Pain has told konan to go away in every single major fight he's been in so she'll do the same here and protect nagato's real body. In these match ups, pain beats obito, itachi beats kisame, deidara beats sasori, and zetsu beats kakuzu+hidan. In order to make it more interesting you could argue sasori beats deidara since deidara says sasori is stronger then he is. If that is the case, then its zetsu and sasori vs itachi and pain. Pain's side wins.

I honestly could see Itachi using Kotoamatsukami on either kisami or Sasori to make them change teams. I realize he probably won't. But I could see him using it just to prolong the war and weaken the Akatsuki
this is a good comment and itachi probably would use this on kisame since they were the only akatsuki team to work with eachother willingly an even upon his canon death kisame still respected itachi despite obito telling him he was a traitor.

This video offers a pretty interesting take on the Akatsuki philosphically, because when it comes down to it: It's a decision between Realists (Pain) or Idealists (Obito).
Realists (Pain, Konan, Hidan, Kakuzu and Deidara) realizing that the ninja world is too broken for any meaningful change amongst humanity to occur and therefor will strong arm mankind into fitting their mold of what is ideal. It also helps that the individuals on this team lean more into our real world conceptions of what it means to be morally ambiguous or depraved: with Hidan, Kakuzu and Deidara being rather content with who they are as criminals, and Pain and Konan being perhaps too blackpilled for them to really acknowledge, let alone lead a more righteous path. They're moreso just just doing what they do because thats just the way the world is and how it works, fucked up or not.
Idealists (Obito, Zetsu, Sasori, Kisame and Itachi) think that they can pick the pieces back up and convert the world back into what it once "was" or what it should be. Individuals on this side of the fence, except Zetsu, lean more into being rebels without cause and drifters. People who, willingly or not, lead the life they live, hoping that maybe, through their actions, thoughts and beliefs, can offer an optimistic or better status quo for this world. Forlorn dreamers forging a salvation from a nightmare that we all have been condemned to and obey.
I think the most tragic part is that answers to their predicament can found with in each other, but they themselves are too divided amongst each other or commited to what they think is right to acknowledge that. If this were to play out, I'd like to believe that Itachi and Kisame were the few, if not, the only ones to discover this revelation:
Kisame, someone who prides himself in honesty and loyalty, realizes that by supporting Obito, he is doing the one thing that he hates the most: Upholding a lie. But in a paradoxical sense, it is because that Kisame is (I think) the only Akatsuki member privy to Obito's plans, that he is willing to die for it. Even if it's a lie, the fact that Obito unmasked himself and kept it a buck with him is the reason why Kisame will stand on that. Because Obito was willing to be honest with him about it.
Itachi, as you briefly mentioned, doesn't agree with either side. And his inability to pick one bleeds into things not exactly going his way. Itachi knows and acknowledges too many realities of the ninja world for his hopes and wishes to really come true, but is just willing to suspend his belief just enough to take up the actions needed to, hopefully, steer the world in the right path. Too many hands in the pot. Just like the Konoha vs Uchiha political strife.
Perhaps its why they got along so well to begin with, in an opposites attract sort of sense: Kisame, who is ironclad and willing to stand on business vs Itachi, who dances with the ideas of multiple parties, hoping to achieve both, but not really able to accomplish either. A Realist (I know I listed Kisame as an Idealist earlier, but thats more to establish the teams present in the video) forcing an Idealist (Itachi) to come to terms with the reality of this world. That the pickings are getting slimmer and slimmer, and that Itachi probably wont get what he wants. And an Idealist leading on a Realist just enough to get him to believe that a better future can be made.

Aside from speed where Kars has a massive advantage due to scaling over the vast majority of the JoJo verse, the Akatsuki all outscale his other stats. Realistically he speedblitzes them all, Amaterasu can kill him and Kamui can BFR, C4 can also kill him but I can’t see anything else working

It's a JoJo character. Kars is a Pillar Man (basically a vampire on steroids) with superhuman capabilities, regeneration, bodily absorption, and light manipulation (with Brilliant Bone Blade). This is normal Kars btw. Pillar Men just like vampires are weak to sunlight
Ultimate Kars is basically everything I had previously mentioned plus 400 IQ, immunity to sunlight, all the abilities of every single life forms on Earth, and learning and adaptation. Kars witnessed Joseph using Hamon and he instantly developed his own Hamon and his Hamon is far more potent than Joseph's, as Stroheim noted that it's as hot as the surface of the sun. I dunno if this also applies to chakra attacks, but just imagine if Kars somehow manifests the Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror, or uses Chibaku Tensei and Kamui

can u make a video about all mangekyo sharingan powers. there is a theory that every mangekyo power manifests according to certain wishes. like amaterasu awakens with the wish to destroy. sasuke wish to cotrol the destruction made him manifest Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi. itachis pacifist nature mae him manifest tsukuyomi. obitos wish not die and pass falling rocks made him manifest kamui. shisui wish to change the people made him develop koto amatsukami. sine the single wish was so strong shisui and obibto manifestes tthe same dojutsu in both eyes. on one eye the strong version which takes a lot of atamina fo one time use and a weaker version which can be used the repeatedly. would be fun o see that kida video.
Well it comes down to it Obito knows about nagato caus if he does there goes pains biggest hack. And another deciding factor u haven't shown where all members will go and t this point I believe Itachi's choice would tip the balance.
Here’s what I think would actually happen:
spoiler, itachi wins and returns to the leaf after completing his mission of destroying the akatsuki. Here’s why I say that:
Because zetsu is on itachi’s team, he would have all the intel he needs. All he would need to do is make sure Obito dies and switch sides.
Konan would be the first to make a move by moving nagato close to her Obito trap because she would know Obito would come for him. So the fight would actually be all 6 pains and Nagato + Konan vs Obito + zetsu (maybe)+ itachi.
Zetsu would either be ordered by Obito to find Nagato or he stays to help and give intel to the other members, with confidence that Obito and itachi would win.
Obito would take itachi with him as an insurance policy to find nagato because he knows Konan and the 6 paths would be there. Once they kill nagato and Konan, he can take the rinnegan and the rest that are fighting don’t matter. Itachi being top 2 strongest on the team would make sure that he wins (so he thinks). And if the rest are a problem, they can dispose of all of them. At this point, Obito and itachi can collect the remaining beasts on their own if they needed to. They don’t actually need the rest of the akatsuki.
Itachi’s goal is to make sure Obito dies because he is the bigger threat.
Obito shows up to ask Konan where nagato is while itachi stays back to see if pain shows up (Obito’s plan). The fight starts and at some point Konan reveals her trap just like before, except this time, itachi would use this this chance to stall for obito to die in the explosions with genjutsu kind of like how sasuke did to danzo. Itachi knows izanagi and would probably assume Obito does as well, so stalling him for a second would actually be on the table. or to back stab him with his susanoo sword while he backstabs (or attempts to backstab) Konan (his susanoo sword could get him before he stabs Konan).
If konan is stabbed and dies, nagato could revive her with Rinne rebirth assuming he has enough chakra to revive 1 person (which he does). If Konan lives, she questions why itachi killed obito, he explains that infinite tsukuyomi sux balls and that his goals align more with pains philosophy; his village forced him to kill his clan and now he wants them to feel his pain; madara should be dead; he could only kill Obito by siding with him; blah blah. Lab he could come up with something.
He seemingly joins their side and flees to fight the rest of Obito’s team. If zetsu went to find nagato, he returns to tell itachi his location. If zetsu is on the other battlefields, itachi already knows Konan has to move nagato. He knows it’s no use to fight the pains, he has to get to nagato (who are most likely guarded by the pains). He plants a genjutsu on Konan without her knowing of course and seemingly leaves to join the other fights. He waits until nagato is being moved and activates his genjutsu, which causes Konan to strike and seriously injure nagato. Itachi shows up out of nowhere and seals him, getting rid of all the pains as well.
He then fodderizes Konan and actually joins the rest of Obito’s team and disposes the rest of pains team. He brings news that Obito died and he finished off nagato and Konan.
Kisame is sad that Obito died and sad for itachi because he lost another uchiha. But he doesn’t suspect itachi because of his relationship with itachi (he has great respect for him). Itachi eventually sneaks him and seals him as well and dispatches anyone else that’s still alive.
He returns to the village and reveals he has completed his mission given to him by the 3rd hokage.
All this would be in character for everyone no?
Sasori could view Infinite tsukuyomi as a way to be reunited with his parents again
Realistically Itachi existing would result in both sides losing eventually hahah he would first go easy on Team Pain, then after Team Obito loses a few members, he will balance it out and in the end he will just finish the surviving members off with the Leaf village after the civil war.
Itachi can’t beat Obito. Obito is probably the strongest character in Shippuden without DMS or the Kyuubi.

Kakuzu, I belief he would join Obito. Even if his past never made it into the manga due to Kishimoto's back pain during that Arc, I still consider all the informations we got from Kishi about his past as canon. Considering that we got to actually understand that Kakuzu's obsession with Money is just a Cope created by himself after he lost all faith in human beings. You can only trust money in this world. He doesn't say that line because he is a flat character, no because in his young life he learned that humans real quick abandon you when they don't need you anymore, not like money, it holds its promise, what it says it will bring you, it will actually do. I mean only if the currency stays stable and stuff, but it's not about how much his view is true, more it's about that this is his view. So Kakuzu actually reminds me of Kisame, an absolute cruel man, which was born from the belief, that this world is false and humans are not trustworthy. So he would probably, or actually to me really likely, abandon his cope with money and join the side that could create a perfect world.
Then, now that on Obito's Side are not only 6 against 4 people but also some of the stronger ones, I need to take 1 out.
Idea 1, like you to me the hardest to decide was Sasori, so probably just finding a reasoning for Sasori on Pains side.
Idea 2, just putting Itachi outside of any side, because if he has to side, Obitos seems more likely, but considering he actually doesn't want any of those 2 outcomes, we could just make this poll without him at all.

Isn’t it weird how tsukuyomi is itachi’s original ability, and we know that ms abilities are developed based on the user’s nature, how tf was the infinite tsukuyomi NOT his idea or ability? Literally never made sense to me. Neither Obito nor madara can use tsukuyomi, which one would think would be a prerequisite for the infinite tsukuyomi (cast tsukuyomi on the moon and the moon reflects it onto the whole world). I feel like something was retconned there.

Obito genjutsu everyone on the battlefield turning a fair fight into a itachi vs every akatsuki member. Obito managed to genjutsu a PERFECT JINJURIKI FOR 4 years, im pretty sure genjutsu-ing the akatsuki members apart from itachi will be light work.
Even then, orange mask obito is physically stronger than white mask obito who could manhandle kcm2(unmastered) naruto, war arc kakashi, and 7th gates gai. I say orange mask is physically stronger because white mask obito says using just 1 rinnegan drains him immensely with the second one being able to straight up kill him.
So now we have someone who is kcm2 level vs someone who could mistakenly nuke his side(pain using chibaku tensei and almighty push). Who wins?

no because nagato is not a full blood uchiha which is the per-requisite for it.
kakashi's case was an extremely rare situation because obito was funneling his chakra which was the opposite of kakashi's on the ying/yang dynamic to give kakashi both his eyes which allowed kakashi to perform an extremely advanced form of summoning jutsu to summon a susano via obito's eyes.

The only reason itachi would need to be on Obito’s side is the that Obito claims to be madara and has a sharingan and helped with the massacre. Itachi wants to kill him and the best way to do that would be to be on his team to observe how he fights and his abilities and then surprise him. He doesn’t seem to care about killing anyone else in the akatsuki, not even the other guy with weird eyes Pain.

Kisame would go after Itachi, we know Kisame is loyal to a fault and learning Itachi was a traitor would really piss him off. Sasori would go after Deidara, he seems to have a sore spot for people that used to be his teammates (Orochimaru). Kakuzu and Hidan would probably be support for one of those main fights since they don’t have any real skin in the game. Itachi would deal with Kisame and probably waste time while Obito gets jumped since Itachi is secretly against Obito and if Obito showed his weakness Itachi would probably turn on him fast and show his true colors.
Sasori negs Deidara, he was tagged by Gaara’s sand while in the air and Sasori’s iron sand speed can be greatly increased with magnet release AND have its trajectory changed in the air. Horrible matchup for Deidara tbh. Nothing below C3 can breech the iron sand and Deidara in character won’t use it before Sasori uses iron sand shower.
Itachi would defeat Kisame with genjutsu, Kisame has a horrible databook stat for genjutsu and never showed any feats beyond getting caught in Kurenai’s genjutsu to think he got way better at resisting it.
Obito struggles a lot with Pain and Konan if Konan can pull off even a fraction of what she did with prep time. She took Obito’s arm because he underestimated her and that’s without the ocean of paper bombs.
Obito’s team probably wins, might be a Pain W if Itachi can land an Amaterasu on a post Izanagi Obito.
Itachi does not get exposed a spy in this scenario.

zetsu is gunna summon reinforcements via zetsu clones to back kisame, hidan is gunna be his usual dumb self an charge right in an at somepoint will probably be fighting one of the paths of pain to no avail since they are already dead to begin with leading to pain trumping him, deidara will be launchin an offensive on itachi but itachi will counter with genjutsu an try to knock him out of the sky, sasori now being happy to shut deidara up will summon the third kazekage an assail him and also with no regard to itachi.
with hidan disabled kakuzu will probably misdirect one of deidara's clay explosives an have it hit hidan blowing him up into pieces.
kisame will be struggling with the mecha and chakra absorbing pains as well as the summoning one an may at that time fuse with samehada to blitz the mecha an summons
zetsu will be distracting the pains who can repair the other pains an the one that can kill with one touch.
meanwhile obito will be on the defensive as konan and divine path pain will be making sure he cant fight back.
at somepoint deidara is gunna push sasori to use himself this will be annoying for deidara an he will likely use his big explosion to level the the battle field it will be at this point that kakuzu sneeks in behind an rips out sasori's heart thus claiming a second bounty.
itachi then will disappear to make a new plan an let deidara an kakuzu hash it out as deidara will now be pissed that kakuzu stole his kill lol

Itachi and sasori wouldn't join Obito, itachi would see Obito plan as more dangerous and wouldn't bank on there being an opening and sasori would see it being the same as being dead and also boring, also Obito had a hard time 1v 1 konan so I don't think Obito would have a good time against the both of them, it would be a long fight but I don't think he would have much of an opening also konan could also put paper bombs inside the pains so kamui would be dangerous to use on the pains, she wouldn't do it on tendo but the other pains are expendable. I could see orochimaru joining Obito as for taka I'm not sure
