to be fair, it's a good comercial. Hes gotta make as much money as he can to stay on air. if another show can make nbc more money he might get booted (might).
most fans see nothing wrong with Jay doing these plug-ins. especially the smaller companies he promotes, probably for free or for free parts.

Nope. George Hurst (I believe) first brought out the line lock at least four decades ago. By the way, here's a guy that (passed in 86 I believe) that came up with the 'Hurst Tool' which we now call 'the jaws of life', in likely every fire station in the world.

See! Jay's really still a car-crazy punk kid at heart. Going around town, looking for places to do burnouts in his borrowed Camaro. The silly part is, he knows which parking lots are best for that, so he must do it a lot.
Jay please you need to do a full on show on the ZL1 1LE M6 and give it the full treatment just like the recent Mach 1 and C8 Z06 shows.

A few years ago, I sold a few of my collector cars for some late model muscle. My ZL1 is scheduled for 1st wk of December. It has a 6 speed manual (a 10 spd auto is an option). It has a line lock, but so does my GT-350R. Not expecting it to out run the GT350R on the track (I don't drag race). At the Track, the GT350R gives our Z06/Z07 a run for it's money, but the Z06 is a much smoother street car.
It's an interesting time for American Muscle Cars, I'm having a blast.

Mustang also had ''Burnout mode'' or whatever they called their version of line lock.
Dodge also offers it on their Hellcat models. It's called ''First gear''.

7 speed? you can seen the H pattern stop at 6
6 forward, 1 reverse
They just throw 7th gear next to 5th. Then depending on the car reverse can be a few different places, you could put it under 7th, or either to the left of 1st or 2nd, or just plainly pushing down.
***** I didn't know it was. I haven't looked at the 2017 yet, since he was talking about 7 speeds I was just referring to any 7 speed car (such as the C7 corvettes).
it shows an "o" as in overdrive, which is the 7th gear. 1-6, then overdrive.
that is no "o" ist an "R" look closely 😏

Insurance cost kills sports cars for me. I'd rather have the M4 or AMG, both would have cheaper to insure for me. Plus both those would be much more reliable than anything GM makes.

Hey Jay, You haven't done a proper review on the ZL1 Camaro yet. I've only found this Paisley Burnout video. It would be great to see a full episode on the greatest Camaro ever build by chevy. Plus 2023 might be the last year ever for it. It would be a great episode. We would love to see it.
PS Jay, have you ever driven one of the big tour buses? Is there a show there? Does anybody collect 'classic' ones from classic music makers?

they are supposed to but sometimes they make exceptions. rarely but the vast majority get crushed. an example of the alternative is the Mclaren 675LT Coupe. before the Spyders were even confirmed to be made they had just 500 cars. the press 675LT's and all that were the last customer cars. but before the cars were delivered to customers they went back to the factory to be rebuilt as new. and i guess they probably threw out anything like the engine, transmission brakes and so on. maybe more.
Nothing of value will be lost in this case.

You know people say when they pop open the hood of the Camaro ZL-1 they immediately say that it's a corvette engine. It's not, however it does have the same supercharger and catalytic converters as the monsterous corvette ZR1 from 2012

jhkkjhk it's the modern LT4 Supercharged Corvette engine. Same thing found in the C7 z06s.
