    A shameless plug as a current Educational Sciences student - JYU is also probably the best place to study education. Not only because of the history of education, but also because of the chances to network so much.

    I love the videos, Oliver. They are really helpful since I know next to nothing about the Finnish University system. I am planning to studying Engineering in Finland, so which university has the best Engineering programs?

    • @RoadtoFinnish
      @RoadtoFinnish  Před rokem

      Thats very cool to hear! The best university for engineering in Finland would be Aalto University: www.aalto.fi/en/school-of-engineering However, there are also other schools available depending on what you would like to specialise in.

    • @QuixoticPenguin
      @QuixoticPenguin Před rokem

      For Engineering your best bets are probably Aalto University and LUT University. I'd recommend Aalto for all the computer science, data science, and generally newer engineering. For more older physical engineering like Mechanical Engineering I recommend LUT since that is their speciality and are known for their physical engineering and have lots of english options for them since its founding. Aalto is great for newer engineering programmes in english like computer science and are unmatched in that field.

      Thanks for the advice, dude. This actually really helps me narrow down what choices I have. I was already looking at Aalto but now I will for sure be looking more at LUT. Thanks!

    Hello Oliver!
    I heard that it's hard for international students to get a job related to their study field (business field) even after completing masters from a Finnish university. Is it true?

  • @marianafadamoderna6646

    What about the PhD programs? I couldn't find anything about their tuitions (or lack of them) in JYU website.

    Yes, the jacket looks great on you. Stands out against the background.
    But PLEASE find a natural fiber jacket to wear during the filming of your videos because the noise the synthetics make is just SO distracting.
    LOVE your videos!

      Jyväskylä University does not (according to my information) have any English taught Bachelor's degrees. However, there are plenty of other universities in Finland that do so i would start with other schools.
