very much so. i cannot find any new ones in my area . very upsetting, new accord is not garbage.
Tamed back big time on the newest gen :( directing sales towards Acura
Could not have said it any better myself.
It's truly unbelievable how good these cars were. The loss of the 2.0T is a huge detriment to the 11th gen. I'm sure it's a great car, but without the power and response, it feels like the "specialty" of the Accord is gone.
I had a 2022 Honda Accord 2.0T Touring and it flooded fully submerged in hurricane Ian. It’s still a painful loss because I couldn’t get another one. Honda was completely sold out of 2.0T accords and I ended up with a 2022 Civic Hatchback once they announced the 11th gen accord without the 10 speed 2.0T engine and no estimated delivery date.
I thought the smaller car would be light enough to perform similarly to the accord & it does not, it’s just not the same, the accord turbo was always so quick and snappy, this civic has a significant delay when compared to the accord turbo even when in “sport” mode. I’m still so sad to see they completely ditched the 2.0T 10 speed accord on the 11th gen. It’s just not the same without it. :(
@@Lazy2332 i’m sorry to hear that man 😔 maybe another one will come your way!

@@Lazy2332 Not sure where you’re located but I lucked out in Southern California. Cerritos Honda had two Accord 2.0t for sale(bought ours with 19k on it) and the next day found another in Indio,Ca( lease return) with only 9k on it so they’re still out there. Just FYI…The Honda Unicars dealership in Indio has a large senior citizen population in its area(think Leisure World market) where they get a lot of lease returns etc. that haven’t been driven a lot. Hope this helps if you’re still in the market/close to area!

Loving my 2020 Sport 2.0T. You get this car for the driving experience, peppy and smooth transmission, and the handling. I don’t care if the cabin has less tech than a Hyundai or not as refined as the Mazdas now (and they are looking awesome). I love the aggressive exterior styling and it look classy too. No complaints.
Actually more tech than the Hyundai of the same class
It doesn’t look aggressive at all tbh

I stage 2 tuned my 21 accord 2.0t with ktuner and installed a PRL intake and it surprises me every time I drive it. Feels like another car.
I bet you’ve surprised a lot of people off of the light
Just bought this exact car off the lot last night. It is truly an amazing car. Mine is also in Sonic Grey Pearl and to say that color is stunning is a complete understatement. The 2.0T is amazing and for me it’s the complete package. I originally went to the dealership looking to get a 2021 Accord Sport SE with the 1.5T CVT, but it had just sold. This was the only other Sonic Grey anything there and after a short test drive, I signed the paperwork. No regrets. I have already had so many stares and compliments in just one day driving this. Truly so happy with the purchase! Thanks for your awesome content!! Watch your videos all the time.
Chris, you are cranking these videos out recently. Appreciate all the work and this Accord has aged really well I think too. The color also is pretty sweet!
Just purchased a 2020 2.0T and boy that line about the transmission knowing exactly the right gear to be in resonated so hard with me the first time I test drove it. Such an amazing car, I’m in love with it.

Loving everything about this video. Clear, concise and one of my favorite cars on a night drive. Not to mention great voice too.
I just bought a '20 Accord Touring 2.0T about 4 weeks ago. I am loving this car! So much fun to drive. The 2.0T engine is a jewel and this is coming from someone who has been driving V6 Honda/Acura vehicles since '02 and I swore I would never own another 4 cylinder car.
I drove a 2.0T and really liked it but I missed that growl of the V6 sound so I stayed with my V6.
@@riseabove3082 Trust me. I was very concerned about dropping from a V6 to a turbo 4 and had to think long and hard about it. And you are correct that the growl of the V6 sounds way better than the turbo 4. However, after a month of driving this car I am not missing the V6 like I thought I would. The torque is so much better in the turbo 4 and this car is amazingly quick. It is so easy and tempting to drive harder than I ever did in my V6s. It just seems so eager to want to perform hard. There are some things about Acura that I do miss and ultimately I plan to be back in one, specifically the new TLX Type S. But for now, I'm having a blast driving this Accord 2.0T.
I just got a 2019 Sport 2.0T and I have absolutely zero complaints. Amazing car.

You are absolutely correct about accord drivers driving insane. I’ve got an old 05. It’s ok as far as speed for its age and being just an old daily driver. But I love it, and I drive it hard it is a beast and takes everything I do to it
I love these POV review videos!
These cars are still available. Bought two over two days. Both lease returns. One with 19k miles, the other with only 9k. As everyone knows, this has the Type R engine with a smaller turbo etc. but can be easily upgraded performance wise with a K-Tuner/Phearable Stage 2,3,or 4 tune. I’ve owned Type Rs but the Accord 2.0t is a great, roomy(especially in back),highway cruiser that can get out of its own way…all while being bulletproof in the process. Buy a manual if you’d like to upgrade to an LSD…not available with 10spd auto. Despite that, there are crazy fast automatic versions out there when tuned right/driven properly that still manage to get the power to the ground.
I just picked up a '21 touring and am excited to get to know it. Thank you for all the reviews, I respect your opinion.
I really appreciate all the light up features on the dashboard. It’s pretty yet subtle enough not to be distracting.
The temp control knobs lighting up red or blue depending if you're lowering or raising the temp is a nice touch too

Was on a work trip in that area last week & was funny I recognized your off/on ramps you use for testing :D
This colour is insane... I'm in love
Been driving this car for 8 months now. best car ever!!
Love that no matter what model or trim you get, Honda always provides superb engineering when it comes to comfort and handling. Makes sense because it doesn’t cost much to create a balanced and well handling car. Honda has been killing it for years and only continues to impress.
The fact that the 2.0T model doesnt exist anymore is sad.
Had mine for 6 months now after owning a civic and can honestly say it’s worth the upgrade! 👍🏽
Ive been looking into these cars for the last couple weeks and they seem great. It’s funny because I’ve taken that same on ramp plenty of times so I recognized the area. Glad to see a video from Michigan that thrived. Good shit

I got the 10 sp. Is the rev hang bad? That made me go toward the automatic
@@jljrspsu1 rev hang is a tad on the longer side, ktuner and hondata both make flash tunes that mitigate that greatly, but I say the enjoyment I get from shifting my own gears is definitely worth it. Can’t beat how fast Honda’s 10 sp is though 😂

@@e1dsd720 yes. This car in sport mode is plenty.
My girl drives a 2020 civic sport and it’s seriously the best driving car ever. It almost drives itself at times. Honda has always been on point and ahead of the game
You're absolutely right! Can't go wrong with a honda accord.
I bought a 2.0T Sport 6MT almost 3 years ago and it took me 3 years for it to grow on me. For the money I don’t think you can do any better!
I bought a 6MT too and ended up selling it :( the lack of an LSD and the rev hang were too much for me, everything else was just perfect tho!
Yeah, value-wise this can't be beat. But many people would prefer more luxury and a "luxury" badge. Can't fault them though, cars are mostly an emotional purchase. You can tell them this is the best value for the money, but people have different tastes.
The Accord has always been the gold standard in the midsize class. I've test driven nearly every vehicle in this class back to back and the Accord is so superior to everything else it's not even funny. Quality, performance, chassis dynamics, fit and finish and refinement. The interior is absolutely first rate!
How would you compare it to the Mazda 6 turbo?
@@chigasaki06 This Mazda 6 turbo is pretty good. The problem with most Mazda's is the lack of refinement and stiff suspension. Everyone wants a "sporty" driving car but our roads are in terrible disrepair in the US. As soon as you drive over rutted pavement it feels like your fillings are about to come out. The Honda Accord for the win!
Then you haven’t driven the carbon 6. Accord feels like a tin can in comparison
@Jim S

Ok I’m buying a new car soon either 2020 or newer. I’ve been doing sun research and I’ve seen Honda Civic, Hyundai Sonata, Mazda 6, Toyota Camry, Kia 5 Gt line, Subaru Legacy, and this. Out of all of them what would you say is the best then?? Also I like a more futuristic type of interior so what would you recommend!

It’s got a nice interior but it is behind the interior of the Mazda 6. That’s a claw above this.
@@billbigshlong382 Mazda 6 has ugly, laggy infotainment and no digital gauges. The buttons and switchgear are also cheaper in the 6.
The 2.0T 10 speed automatic is so underrated! I love driving mine everyday and zipping through traffic 😮💨
Thinking about getting this same exact car this weekend. The color is so beautiful 🥰
Honda has done an amazing Job with the tenth generation. I went after a sport 2.0, but dealer mark ups were nearly 3 to 4k in my area. Opted for a touring and glad I did. Of course, with the 2.0 and the 10 speed, it's so smooth and fast. The added features of the Touring, like the HUD, active dampers, cooled seats, wireless android audio (car play as well) make it worth it. It feels like a near luxury vehicle. I have a daily commute of about 45 miles and it such a pleasant commute thanks to the Accord. #CV2crew
How much did you get yours for?
I'm comparing getting the newer Touring with the 2.0T or the V6, do you know which one would be better?
45 miles? you must live in Texas
I’ve been wanting to test drive one of these for awhile, and I could definitely see myself owning one. Still not a fan of the taillight design, but the rest of it has grown on me and I now think it’s quite good looking.
I felt the same with the taillights. After owning it for a month, I appreciate my Accord and accepted the taillight design. Good luck on your potential purchase! 👏🏽

Other reviewers are always pushing the Accord down canyon roads like it's a Ferrari and then complaining that the tires squeal at 120 mph around a hard corner, or that the brakes start fading after the 100th floored stop. I also catch a lot of shade from Camaro and Mustang fanboys for driving a "granny mobile", and even 9th gen Accord owners have an attitude of "but muh V6 bro". Even my father, a Honda loyalist, regularly throws shade at the 10th gen despite never once driving it. Hardly anybody has any idea what this car is capable of. I own a 2.0T and agree with everything you said, this thing truly whips around and carves corners like no other sedan. It's super easy to drive fast and very underrated. Feels limitless quite honestly, and I regularly leave BMWs and Audis completely dusted. And this is coming from someone who previously owned a 9th gen V6. I love how you aren't afraid to say that the 10th gen Accord is good.
Can’t go wrong with an Accord! It’d be a really tough choice for me in this segment between this and a Mazda6. If it was my only car, I’d probably take a manual 2.0T Accord Sport, but if I had a second fun car, I think I’d go for a ‘6 Signature.
Manual no longer offered in Accord.

Get a ktuner, downpipe, charge pipe, and intak itll really blow your mind 😂
FOR ANY NEW HONDA :
I really recommend switching off all the assists, kind of like a pedal dance on the brz/86.
In Hondas you do it by long pressing the traction control button twice with only footbrake, then again only with handbrake, and then with footbrake and handbrake, and then both traction and stability lights should come up and one will blink on/off.
Doing this in my jazz really made the car feel completely different, no longer understeering and not wanting to weight transfer, so I highly recommend this if you want to see how a car really drives without the computer messing with your driving.
Also, if you just press the TC button once or shut off the car, it returns to normal so it's not like pulling a fuse or something you cant revert to normal.
When I’m feeling naught I def do that pedal dance 🤙🏽🤣
Man I love this car so much I watch this video multiple times, I would kill if I had one.
The cars 🔥 Your Channel 🔥🔥🔥
I have a silver 2019 and it is more fun to drive than many people think. Not a sports car by any means but it will hustle and flow.
I have the civic touring Def not fast but a comfortable and reliable car if you step on it it kinda moves but that's foot down to the floor but it's not a bad csr by any means supposed to be fuel efficient not fast
It really is a sleeper in normal every day driving, but once you step on the gas, it goes 😳
My biggest priorities for a daily driver are interior cabin noise and ride quality. I just want a cushy, isolated, drive that's as quiet as a library at highway speeds. I wish they'd make an accord trim with extra sound proofing. Like a touring+ or something.
For what your looking for get a lexus used or new some the most quiet isolated cars on the highway the 2019 es350 super 👌

Definitely an underrated channel. While he is here praising "lower-class" vehicles like the Accord for how good it is, other CZcamsrs are calling it boring, or cheap, nothing special, the rest complain while he gives praise to these cars. I appreciate that.
Yeah really. I'm sick of other reviewers trying to drive the Accord like it's a damn 700 hp McLaren twisting down Mulholland Drive and then bitching that the tires squeal or that the steering isn't as sharp as a Ferrari. *It's an Accord.* It's still a seriously impressive car for the category. Respect to TheTopher for not being afraid to say the Accord is good.

I have a 2018 Accord EX-L 2.0T. It is an amzing car. I consistently get 35-37 mpg on the highway. I also have a KTuner tune that makes it even faster. With the tune the ECO button is now like the original NORMAL mode, the NORMAL mode is now a Stage 1 tune, and the SPORT button is the Stage 2 tune. It really makes my car very versatile at the push of a button. And like the Topher said, the Accord is the most tight, solid feeling car I've driven in this segment of cars. I had a Sonata before the Accord and there is absolutely no comparison between the two. Believe all the hype surrounding the 10th Gen Accords; its for good reason.
I own a 19 Accord Touring 2.0t. I’m averaging the same mileage. I also have a Stage 2.
I bet you owned the old ass 6th gen sonata and are trying to compare that to a car almost a decade newer 🤣

totally worth it. I had the 1.5 and it is slow and has less bells n whistles. The 2.0 is a awesome car.
I have the 1.5t and it’s an awesome car as is. Can’t imagine how nice the 2.0t is
This car is great and I'm glad I bought mine.
Honda knows how to make cars engaging... I think better than VW now a days (I had a Golf, Passat Wagon and Jetta Wolfie). Even their larger models have that same DNA (I drive a Pilot now). I’m definitely loyal to the brand (and Acura too of course, new MDX is sick...).
I am driving a 2017 Accord with 66000 Kms in ODO, one of the best decision i have ever made. I like its acceleration and the stability when driving on highway. The only complain is about the Carplay of IOS. Sometimes it crashes, and it is very annoying when you drive in Highway. Hope that HONDA will fix it soon.
They have a download at the dealer to fix that.
Im glad you didn’t spend 15 minutes talking about various buttons. Good review without wasting time.
