Holyshit hearing this randomly play on my Spotify metal playlist made me so happy lol..The playlist I downloaded has over 100 hrs of metal bands I’ve never listened to or heard of before so while I’m working I just hit the shuffle button and it’s like getting a present each time a new song comes on ESPECIALLY If it’s anything like Venom Prison! I about fell out of my chair when i realized that the album was released in 2022! I instantly thought it was definitely from around the 2002-2005 era of metal..I’m so glad to see a modern metal band not give a fuck and just go for it..I can actually get into and feel excited about..also when I watched the video I refused to believe that was a female vocalist and my mind=blown
This is a clear continued evolution in their sound but doesn't lose the brutality at all. Love the clean backing vocals in the chorus and the riffing is tighter. Great work VP!

This is my favorite extreme metal act with a female singer and there is one reason for that: the band as one unity sounds great. Not because "she sounds great as for female screamer", or because they created/reformed the band around a good looking female singer but because not for a single second do I think that she is a female singer because "the singer is just great."
The way I see them is they are not a band with a female lead vocalist they are a band with a vocalist that just so happens to be female. That's what makes them great. Her being a female is not part of their shtick. She is in the band because she is extremely talented!

Only discovered this band recently (I'm always a few years behind it seems). One of the best new(ish) bands I've heard in a while and Erebos is a top album. The music and lyrics are all outstanding; this killer track being a personal favourite!
