Ghosts of War is one of my favorite Slayer songs of all time and Hatebreed absolutely nailed it. As a drummer, I love the beats Matt throws down. Brother Byrne is a monster on the drums. The perfect mix of ripping speed with sick ass breakdowns that have so much groove and soul. I know how hard (and fun) Ghosts of War is to play on the drums and Matt locks it down with strength, precision, and skills. Epic. Mr. Jasta and the crew brought the thunder on this track. When I was just out of high school, played drums for a band Rapid Kill and wrote a song called "Hate Breed". We played death metal but I still put the emphasis on groove and catchy hooks while still remaining heavy as fuck. Thank you Hatebreed for another life-changing and life-saving dose of the greatest music in the world. 🤘🤘🤘

Glad to see them flying the flag. Wish the internet was around back then! We had to send out tapes to everyone.

I heard them cover Angel of death at adelaides bdo.. It was by far the best cover ive ever heard from anyone and ive seen hell bands, i lost both shoes in the pit and kept moshin in my sox...after the gig two dudes come up to me and handed me my shoes! ive seen Hatebreed 4 times but that show was the best by far!
