The thing about reusing things for animated films is that it’s incredibly hard for the animators to make those movies, drawing thousands and thousands of frames is hard, especially back then, when you couldn’t just clear, copy and paste, so Disney is not “Cheeping out”

Everything u said is correct except from when u said he was dying of old age. When he put on Voldemorts ring (one of his horcruxes) it cursed him and that’s why his hand goes black in the half blood prince and that’s why he’s dying. Not from old age.
