Battlefield 1 Any% Speedrun World Record

Battlefield 1 full game speedrun on easy difficulty. A sub 1h 33min run is surely possible. I was actually scared after the chapter Be Safe that I would choke the run as the last three chapters are quite easy to mess up and have big time losses. Thankfully chapters In Plain Sight and Young Men's Work went rather smoothly but I lost some time in the last chapter. But still, I'm quite happy with this run even though some chapters were quite sloppy in my opinion.
Some things to note in BF1:
- In Break of Dawn it doesn't seem to matter how many times you die in the final fight. As long as you die after about 8 minutes and 5 seconds you get the last spawn.
- Most objective capture times seem to have been changed since release. This means some levels are now slower to do than at release, most notably Over the Top is about 1 minute slower now by default.
- You can skip a lot of waiting or some cutscenes by reloading last checkpoint. This is used in Fog of War, Test Flight and Young Men's Work.
- Running into barbed wire in O La Vittoria allows you to run at normal speed. In O Tutti Accoppati you run faster with your secondary or equipment out than with the double barrel machine gun.

Settings used:
- Recording format: mp4
- Encoder: NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new)
- Rate Control: CBR
- Bitrate: 24000 Kbps
- Output Resolution: 2560x1440 at 60 fps
NVENC allows you to record with almost no performance loss to your game and 24000 Kbps is the maximum bitrate CZcams allows for 1440p 60fps. Find settings that you're happy with. I use these settings because I want high quality recording but with minimal performance hit to games since I want to play at high frame rates.

Im definitely impressed by your skills tbh, been replaying the game after almost 2 years and your skills are obviously X75 better than me. I've been playing online to train myself a bit and learned things but still, the aim help In Xbox is absolutely terrible and so the only thing I'm good with are tanks and airplanes, I'm a literal disaster at ground fight
Except when being silent but that's impossible in online

For Battlefield 1 I'd recommend you to learn the levels first, what sections you can just skip, where enemies are and where do they spawn at. Doing a "casual speedrun" to learn the basics of the game and to get a baseline time from where to start improving from has been my go to way for new games.
For recording, everything depends on what platform you're playing on. I play on PC and record my gameplay with OBS using Nvidia NVENC encoding because it has minimal effect on performance while still recording at great quality. For timing I use LiveSplit and I record it with OBS and have chroma keyed it so the timer is transparent. You can find tutorials for OBS, LiveSplit and OBS/LiveSplit chroma keying easily on CZcams. If you play on console, you can use their built in recording and time your run separately during or after the run. You're not required to have a timer in your video if you decide to submit it to speedrun.com .

You can start by running on PS4 to see if you like it. Two biggest differences to PC will be longer loading times and harder aiming but otherwise it'll be pretty much the same as far as I know. Also you can get Origin Access on PC and play the game for 3,99€/$ a month if your PC is powerful enough.
