@@aquaponieee Those things happened a long time ago. When they said “getting,” I assumed that it was actively *getting* worse. Not that it *got* worse.
@@Tr4ns1st0r it's slowly getting worse as time goes by. like, a very slow but steady decline that goes on for decades. it's just the fact that apple doesn't care about gaming as their selling point is productivity, and gaming on mac reflects that.
maybe it'll get a bit better from this new low, maybe it'll plummet down again afterwards, or maybe it won't. who knows

how do i change the resolution for ryujinx? i see andrew has his resolution at 1920 x 1023 or slightly lower than that but the resolution for me is too high at 2880x1686, how do i change this?

I play using GeForce NOW. If you have good internet and are in a country with Nvidea servers you can play BG3. I pay 20$/month for the Ultimate tier and play Cyberpunk 2077 on maxed out graphics. Its beautiful.
Quick question on Ryusak. Since Ryusak is currently dead, is there another option for Shader Cache downloads so it fixes the stuttering issue on certain games?
As far as I know I builds your shader cache automatically with the first couple of launches
Unfortunately that's not how it works. Stutters happen every time the shaders have to be compiled for something new, this makes most games playable but not enjoyable. The best way to fix this is to install pre-compiled shaders, but they're hard to find online because they're a copyright violation @@dynamic9428

My problem is that my "kind of generic controller" does not work on updated version of Ryujinx but it works on somewhat older version of Ryujinx. So I have to play on older version of Ryujinx but there are many new games that is really slow on older version but works well in newer version. Does anyone have any idea how to get the controller working on newer version (other than buying a new better controller)?

Hey Andrew! I see you were getting Ryusak to work as of October 23 based off the video here. Was there anything special that you did to get it to load? I was reading on github today that the project is dead so I haven't been able to load a Shader Cache

yes. I'm playing that game. Run perfect. At the first time you get some stuttering like usual. But when you run a couple of time gets more and more smoth.
But some games like Mortal Kombat 1 I could not play yet.

shader caching doens´t work anymore with the other app, is there a new way as the game stuck when it loads the shaders during gameplay

playing Mario rpg atm... no issues yet besides the music kinda crunches... but runs flawless... no fps drops and no graphical issues or crashes... YET

You can use a keyboard and mouse but it's kinda awkward, a controller is highly recommended
Just tested out Red Dead Redemption on M1 MBA. Works almost flawlessly, with only a few stutters, and a graphical glitch when panning the camera at the ground (doesn't really bother me, however). I didn't even load shaders, and it runs as well as Dolphin or Pcsx2. Wtf?!
Only issue is that Ryujinx sometimes disconnects the controller, and crashes when you try reconnecting it. Can you look into this pls if it happens to you as well?

I'm not able to get this running without a crash. Done everything in this video. Running a mackintosh i9 32 core. 64gb ram. Radeon 6600xt 8gb. Surely this is enough to run this?

hi Andrew; I was using RyuSAK and it was fine until I install macOS Sonoma. When I open RyuSAK it says loading data but it stays there. Nothing happens I uninstalled it and install it again but still same issue. Any suggestions???

How do you guys charge your ps5 controller from Mac ? I have a usb-c to usb-a port but I always see the white light on the controller. I cannot charge it. Any tips ?
I didn’t test it, but I always use powered multiport USB Hubs with my Mac mini, it works really well with that because it also can charge without the Mac.
My main question is what you mean with USB C to A Port, didn’t you test an USB C to C cable yet? Both devices have USB C so I don’t see any point why you should use another cable.

Have you managed to get Breath of the Wild working with this Emulator? I tried it, included the updates (so 1.6) and both DLCs and it just freezes during the opening sequence after "Open your Eyes" - the screen goes yellow and then nothing. CPU is pegged at 360% or so, but the only way out if Force Quit. I tried leaving it for an hour to see if it would do anything, and it doesn't.
turn off hypervisor in settings but using cemu for this game is better

i beat wonder on ryujinx yesterday on mac and the game ran flawlessly throughtout the entire thing! im so happy. the only time it would studder a little is because i didnt download the shaders but other than that it was perfect :D

Regarding RyuSaK and downloading shaders: many say that building your own is better and I also actually had issues with downloaded shaders on Apple Silicon with Mario Kart.

RyuSak is dog water bro bro, 1, doesn’t install the firmware it used to, 2 none of the shaders ever helped me. 3, if your on a windows you could be downloading mac shaders vice versa i would build your own.

With the new guidelines released about tournaments with Nintendo Games, I just feel like this is right on time. I don't feel like supporting a company that is doing all it can to ruin esports with their games just because they aren't making money out of it.
