    Put the glass in paper bags before breaking them. It's much safer.

    First I LMAOed when I saw those fish go in, then I marveled at your ingenuity when I saw how you created them. I knew there was something fishy about you, Mattification.

    The coated colored glass things, if you want to get into polymer clay you can use them for base for fairy houses or decorate them in other ways. Loads of videos how to alter all kinds of glass items

    I smashed my bottles in a used package envelope. It’s a good way of containing the fragments and protecting your face

    You could put a piece of saran wrap over glass before breaking to keep pieces from flying too far and you can still see what you're doing

    Lol the fish were the cherry on top! I had to like and subscribe after that.

    You might want to try scoring or cutting thicker glass pieces with a dremel to get the pieces you want.

    It just goes to show you have to watch these videos through to completion... 🤣😆😉... I knew the fish weren't real, but I sure didnt know they were Taco Bell Hot Sauce pkts. Too funny! Can't wait to see how this batch turns out. 😊

    Since your doing only 1 7 day run i doubt that your multiple mix of grit and stuff will hurt any. Lol fish was a nice touch.

    How do u dispose all of the sand and waste when you're done making the sea glass?

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  Před 4 lety +4

      Let it sit till the sediment all sits at the bottom, then dump the surface water outside in the dirt and dump the rest in the trash, or just dump the whole thing in the trash.

    Looks like the cord was leaning on the tumbler??

  • @theawesomeladybird9604

    If you wanted a hole for a jump ring would it be best to drill that before or after tumbling?

    • @MattsCrazyArt
      @MattsCrazyArt  Před 2 lety

      Before but be careful - drilling holes in glass is tricky - requires the right tools and patience

  • @natalieharrison4318
    @natalieharrison4318 Před 4 lety

    Maybe put wood in bottom of box and cover the bottle with towel or something and then brake it.

  • @jeanettewolfenbarger1256

    I put my item that I want to break like you are doing, I put it into a plastic bag, it keeps the glass from shattering all over.

    Red glass needs gold to make it so they often just coat it. If you want real red glass you may need to buy glass door stained glass. Breaks my heart I see you break the vintage blue mason jar.

    I used to polish stuff for microscopy, your wasting your time totally. Just add sand and shells, you can't add grit 3 to grit 2 it doesn't work like that.

    • @MattsCrazyArt
