I felt this😂😂
Legit me fighting the first Frostbite Spider Boss in Skyrim on my 6th or 7th play through.
@@zombified_pariah7720 The one in bleak falls barrow?
@@g29000 Yes...that's where you meet the first boss (besides your first Draugr at the very end) and it's the only Giant Frostbite Spider we see in the entire game. Lol
0:12 Grey just doesn't want to see them getting killed so he doesn't even look up. very nice detail.
So stem did that basically without looking
@@jordanleetz1926 STEM is capable of that, when they find one of Fisk's brothers and torture him, Grey said he couldn't do it. STEM said he could do it for him and that he didn't even have to look and despite that, STEM still made extreme precision cuts, even deliberately cutting out a Cobolt Cable attached to his implanted firearm to get Grey to pursue the goal further. Unlike us having to visually see instead of trying to refer back to memory of something we briefly saw, that image is still locked in STEM's computer memory and he can simply base what he's doing off of that.
I know we don't know much on how exactly STEM operates but we know it's attached directly to his central nervous system and for that I assume he's capable of even accessing information stored in Grey's brain. Instead of installing a ton of parts needed for any computer such as memory, it's possible STEM is nothing more than a CPU and Grey's biology is being utilized as the rest of his parts. Seeing that he's basically a supercomputer, it's possible he can access information on the brain far better than anyone else could.
Supporting evidence lies in the fact that STEM displayed some understanding with how the human mind works, when STEM knew that if Grey fought him his psyche would snap and he would basically enter a coma, living a fantasy in his mind and being happy while STEM took over his physical body.
Another thing I would like to point out, STEM was able to cut off Grey's pain receptors (his nerves basically) so he wouldn't feel anything when he was being tortured however the guy toreturing him still managed to find a spot that affected Grey. We see Grey react in pain but STEM doesn't do anything, suggesting that either he can feel it but pain doesn't really affect him the way it does for us or that STEM couldn't feel it at all.
I would like to think that first is what's at play here. Our reaction to pain is a natural instinct. If it burns, it can damage us and we cannot be damaged if we want to survive. STEM doesn't have those instincts, so when he feels it he just treats it as data. "Pain felt in upper right leg, assessing damage: Blood drawn, intrusion in body. Must be corrected soon." Something like that.
@@BlvxkByrd Grey looked at that dude for a longer time tho. So STEM had time to "map" the dude's face. But here Grey walks around a corner and NEVER looked at them even for a second. Completely different situations and this one just doesn't make any sense. Grey being able to do all kinds of "accessing memory" shenanigans etc. but for visual perception he still needs the hosts eyes. So yea, just doesn't really make a whole lotta sense. But overall really good movie. Especially considering the budget. Fresh change from all the mainstream stuff.
Just to think, this was a low budget movie...
Just wow
well just shows you throwing money at something does not make it good this is easily one of my top 5 movies of all time.

Yes exactly! I was thinking the same.
I love how he moves like a robot, so cool!🤣
0:28 The delivery of this line always makes me laugh.
This was such a good movie. Got hooked on the CZcams shorts and ended up buying it.
Great story, great cast. Loved it.
The tear that rolls down his face after he says “Stop me, use the taser” my goodness man.
Why are detectives and cops super, arrogantly stupid and stubborn for not listening to this victim?
Because Grey has killed a lot of people and I imagine the detective knows about stem at this point
I literally said this as I watching the movie, these cops always get the shitty end of the stick because they don't listen.
@@Nemesis0921 that's was as real as can be to portray a police.
Because in most scenarios most cops think they are within total control of the situation and they're pretty profound for just making stuff worse both in movies and irl. Most cops or atleast the average cop can turn a completely calm and safe scenario into a gun fight or fist fight in only a couple minutes.
Unless it's a movie about police then they are super smart and righteous.
The camerawork in this movie is just something else

I guarantee if this movie came out at a better time with better promotion it would have been way more popular. Most underrated/underseen movie Ive ever watched.

This was actually such a good movie
How didnt the AI see the taser coming? He even said "use the taser" xD
It was Grey telling the detective to use it on him since STEM was in control of his body
@@KenjiAsakura09 You missed the point of the question. He's asking why Stem let her tase him. He announced the plan openly with plenty of time for stem to stop her but stem doesn't do anything to prevent getting tased. I don't know if it was just a small flaw in the movie but grey was shown resisting stem earlier in this scene, so in that moment he could've just been holding stem back while he let himself get tased.
@@brandonmitchell3267 Yeah, you said it perfectly: Grey was holding back Stem and allowed himself to be tased.
You could argue that STEM let himself be tasted. STEM has a second goal here besides tying up loose ends. He wants to break Grey's mind so he's manipulating Grey to get a direct confrontation out of him. He could have easily killed Eron the moment he walked in and easily taken care of the cop but he doesn't. He's baiting Eron into revealing the "truth" to Grey and he knows that Eron would only be comfortable enough to do that if he thinks that STEM is disabled.

LMFAOOOOOO
probably the biggest flaw in stem is how it has no immunity to electricity. kind of feels like if your going to make a AI that revolves around killing or something that have the consequences of being shot on site is to get rid of its one massive weakness that all technology has. through enough volts into it and it will fry and not work anymore.
Okay? If you could fry STEM, wouldn’t also kill an ordinary person as well?
