These are my favourite bikes … ZRX, XR, CR…with a major absence… a tidy CR 125 with steel frame!

I had a 91 CR500 for 9 years, absolutely loved that bike. Thought I needed to get into the four stroke craze and sold my 500 and bought a 2003 CRF450. That was a great bike too but I missed the big bore two stroke, I know suspension wasn’t as good but I still missed it. Ended up selling the 450 to my nephew and once again… I have a big bore two stroke! 99 KX500 which is scary fast, it’s also just what I needed.

I find it amazing guy would go out & buy brand new bike bring them home & sit them in the gradge for the next 20 30yrs. But back I guess in 90, 91 a new bike was around $3,400 you didn't have to pull out a bank loan to purchase a bike
It’s all relative with inflation. I remember in 98 I wouldn’t spend $5k on a new cr250. Now crf450 are $10k.

I'm a Honda cheerleader all the way but that kx500 is freaking beautiful ..
Had a 2000 model kx 250 did so many hours on it i lost count, and it still had great compression and power on a je piston and it kept up with all my friends fresh rebuilt cr250s

Nice score!! The 91 CR's look really good but I like the 90's too. Most don't know but the Wing and the CR on the 1990 CR's were impregnated into the plastic shrouds, it wasn't a decal. One year only because of production cost.

I find it crazy how some people think that the 91 graphics on the CRs are horrible looking. They look amazing, just like the 95 that people hate also.

My old man had a zrx red one tho , sold a real cherry 85 zl900 eliminator had a 1000 swap loved that bike it was the first real street bike I drove

@@yamaharaptor01able I sold it to my brother back in '99 for $1000 because I ended up moving down to Florida from Wisconsin for a little while then moved back a year later. I was going to buy it back from him but he parted it out so I was like Fuuucckkk! But I got a little '05 Cr85r for $1000 and a '88 Trx250r for $2500. Ya those old machines are gold mines now
