This didnt start on Oct 7th. Its been a decades long occupation going on since before you and I were born. I went to Israel and the west bank a few years ago, and I was deeply disturbed by the sight of the numerous check points and 'watching' towers along the walls that separate Israel from the west bank. I mentioned this to my Israeli friend who explained --those walls/towers/check points weren't there from the start; they were erected because of the suicide bombers ----check points are there to protect Jews, rather than to oppress Arabs as we are usually told.
