Excellent, thank you
You're welcome!
Awesome video and thank you for detailed info. Can we see a before and after test ride next plz?
We have a short one already. We're reshooting our in depth before and after version
Will, Im over in the Tarpon Springs area do you know who could be an installer for the Seakeeper Ride? This looks awesome and I'm sure my wife will enjoy the ride more.
@uasflightservicesllc3552 not sure, email me at will@jetboatpilot.com and I'll help you out
Great install with amazing and detailed explanation. I noticed you don’t have the thrust and lateral vectors installed, I have them installed on my 2023 255 SFH, would these interfere with the Seakeeper installation? I also wanted to ask where you relocated the underwater lights (not shown).
The Helm Master equipped FSH has a nozzle that does not work with Thrust vector or Lateral Thruster so we had no choice on this boat. However the Seakeeper will work just fine with Thrust Vector and Lateral Thruster as long as it is mounted in the located we selected on this install. We plan to reinstall the underwater lights at some point which will be above and slightly inboard of their original location.
What type of bit did you use to cut the hole for the keypad? Thanks in advance!
Router bit which allowed for the side cutting. You can get one from Mcmaster.com or Amazon. Best bit for cutting fiberglass is diamond tipped abrasive type bit.
Question: would seakeeper prevent boat from rocking when boat is anchored? Second question: how much energy does it consume? Will it drain batteries when engines are not running?
No, not the Seakeeper Ride. Seakeeper Gyro would. It will not drain batteries if you wire it like we did in our install video.
If someone wanted to get the Seakeeper ride installed by you’ll, how long is the wait?
Wished I would have waited for the FSH H!
No wait at the moment.
Great video…how much time did it take for the total install?
About a day and a half
Can this be installed on a 2022 252SD
Yes for sure, will help immensely
Will - I had a 2023 252SD. does this integrate into the ConnectX display or do you need to install a stand-alone display?
You have to buy a stand-alone Garmin
@@JetBoatPilotAny Garmin or a specific model/version?
@@07acline we recommend the TD50 which we stock
will it integrate with Simrad? I ask, as we are also about to reconstruct our dash, adding another display and changing the radio so I have a true radio on the house battery
Can this be installed on a 2020 242X?
We're working on a custom transom plate that will allow you to install on a 24 footer. At the moment not ready yet, but hope to have ready before the end of May.
Will this fit on a 255XD?
If you have the integrated wake booster I think that will get in the way. We have not proven this yet but I think it will not work.
(1) Can this be installed if you have thrust vectors installed? (2) When you guys do the install, it looks like it is a two-day install, so I am assuming the SOP would be to bring you the boat first thing in the morning on day 1, and then pick it up end of the day on day 2? (3) When you do the install, do you move the underwater light for us?
Yes and yes. Removal of factory underwater lights adds an hour of labor as the process involves refilling those holes and cleaning up the old plexus left behind. Sometimes the old lights are damaged during removal but only cosmetically. They can typically be reused with only some scratches or deformation on the edge of the bezel.
It will also work with most MFDs including Simrad
Great install… Yamaha wire routing on the other hand is gross
Will this fit the Yamaha 275 sdx 2023?
Unfortunately it will not.
Damn
Is it the length of the boat that’s the problem?
@dcouwlier the engines are wide set on the 275 which leaves very little room for the Seakeeper. We measured it with a SK factory rep and his final answer was no go on the 275. I tried to get him to think outside the box and in the end we could not see a way to make it work.
@@JetBoatPilot that’s unfortunate. I was so looking into this after your first video about the ride. Maybe they come up with something down the road:
