Doubtful, Roy Rana is an assistant coach at the Sacramento Kings. He is Born in Wolverhampton. Americans don't think of basketball as confined to Americans. Most likely they'd go who is he and if he's good great. Just win games. His nationality wouldn't be much of a talking point especially if he came from say a typical feeder for NBA coaches like NCAA College basketball. Steve Nash is from Canada born in South Africa; he coaches. Steve Kerr was born in Lebanon. I just think far far less focus would be placed on that person's nationality because the NBA doesn't have the same stigma against the like the British do with Americans and football.

Leipzig were stupid & foolsih to hire him, KNOWING he would be changing tactics, only to cut him off early. Leipzig should have just hired a Nagelsmann assistant coach who didn't change things. Leipzig hired Marsch because they tend to promote from within, but in this case it was a mistake. If Leeds are relegated, Jesse's system will be fun & exciting for fans & the team and they will have success in the League, likely being promoted.

If you press effectively, then you can get chances of it, and winning the ball is already a good thing.

The overconfidence with no substance is how the average American comes across to Europeans. Americans speak with a lot of hyperbole and exaggeration compared to people from Europe who are a little more reserved and less excitable to modest accomplishments or events.
For Jesse and I am sure he knows this but his playing career and his managerial career will not garnish instant respect from any of the players, he needs to be knowledgeable, a great leader and shows the players that his methods work. Players will test him, like do any manager but even more so because he is American. Bob Bradley found this out at Swansea the hard way, if Jesse can show his methods work, he knows his stuff and gets results he may actually be the first American to succeed and pave a pathway for others.
On the other hand if he fails then it will be a long long time before another American gets a chance at that level.

Definitely agree with you.. but man, Bob Bradley sucks royal ass. His level of coaching is good enough for the MLS league here or university level. Which just goes to show how the standards of the sport still are here in the States 😑.
Two different coaches. I still get why you brought him up.. I just wanted a chance to bash Bradley though 😅.
I want him to do a good job for Leeds sake. I don't want to seem them relegated. Anyways, good point.

And they've sacked a legend of the game and club to put him in place. Because of 4 bad games. It's disgusting.
