I think Amanda & Clive should be nominated for mum & dad of the year. They way they are hands on parents but give them the freedom to learn everything & encourage the children in whatever makes them happy ! I love watching the series 💕

I too fell for a Yorkshire lass, just finished a contract in Canada and got off the plane drunk. Met at the airport by a friends wife he was sailing up the Thames so she drove me down to meet them. Well I ended up buying the Yorkshire lass called Lazy Days a family motor yacht, built in 1930 in the town of Castleford on the Aire and Calder canal Yorkshire. In 1940 she went to Dunkirk and helped save the troops from the beaches for three days, returning packed with troops and holed near the waterline. She then spent the rest of the war patrolling the Thames Estuary for mines. Three years after buying Lazy Days I took her home, sailed up the East Coast from the River Medway to Grimsby stopping at a few ports on the way. Sailed up the Humber to Goole and onto the canals to Castleford and the boatyard where she was built all those years ago. Those Yorkshire Lass's are tough,
Watched all 3 series in three days and love it. Hope tv doesn’t spoil it and them . What happens with these programmes is that they start interfering with the family and their lives . We live 11 miles away from Ravenseat Farm (near Muker), just outside Kirkby Stephen. We moved here 8 years ago now, having also been inspired by watching the tv series "All Creatures Great and Small" (James Herriot) while growing up back in the 1970'and 80's. It is a stunning and wild landscape, full of surprises, with every season bringing it's own 'magic' to the Dales and moors, although my favourite time of year has got to be Winter with the snow on the fells and the opportunity to hunker down in front of the fire. A timeless, peaceful and beautiful place......and we wouldn't swap it for anywhere else..

In winter, the ever changing light falling on to the snow covered Fells, Dale's and dry stone walls, transforms it into magical wonderland. It really is a timeless place and if it wasnt for the cars, you could very easily imagine yourself being back in the 1940's. Nothing has changed here for decades if not centuries, which gives it an added uniqueness. And the night sky is just incredible. One of the few places that we've lived where you can see the milkyway and meteor showers with your own eyes, just by stepping outside from our own backdoor. A great place to live for sure.
Truly amazing Woman the Children are growing up level headed and husband Clive a great Man Wonderful Farm with several Sheep Dogs helping with the Sheep the Cows and other animals including Tony the Pony😃
Only mjust ,this morning, saw on Utube an Interview with the Yorkshire Sherpherdess. I found it very interesting and I will be trying to see all of the stories on UTube. The countryside is so very very beautiful. I would love to just wander around it. I am in Costa Rica, my home is in Canada. I am trying to keep from travelling to s kid the Virus. I have travelled to England many times and have always wanted to visit the Moors. A curiousity from All the Classics I have read about them. A beautiful, busy but I am sure enjoyable life you have. Looking forward to more of the stories about your life.

When it becomes mandatory to just eat veg I think Amanda, Clive and their family will adjust and adapt but hard work will still be at the forefront, that’s just who they are I’m not picking fault with people that chose to be vegan but as it is people still eat meat and this family supply’s the demand if they didn’t some one else would
