I'm Kelvin Fletcher, actor, farmer and racing driver as well.
So tell us, what are you doing here at the Great Yorkshire Show?
So today I brought some sunshine.
I'm here on the vertu stand with Bristol Street Motors, as their guest.
And hopefully we'll be meeting lots of people.
And, I'm a big fan, passionate, very passionate about cars.
So it's good to be on this stand.
What are the crowds like?
This year crowd was fantastic. I believe it was raining yesterday. And today it's a lot drier. So naturally, these sort of events, you know, you do want a little bit of good weather on your side.
But now everyone looks, there's a lot of families here, which is great to see, and, quite a few farmers. I've noticed quite a few Wellington pair pair of wellingtons, but now these these events are always fantastic.
And as you said, you're here on the Bristol Street Motors and Virtue Motor Standard. Is there any other stand you're looking forward to visiting?
Well, the stage next door actually looks pretty good.
The Vertu Motors Great Yorkshire Show stage. So, I'm sure there'll be some interesting people. Interesting stories told over there later on, so I might I might go and check it out.
Shows all sorts of events going on all sorts of displays going on. Anything in particular you're looking forward to seeing?
There's some great stands. I think just walking through, I could smell the wood fire pizzas being made, a bit of a demonstration there. So I think I'll have to go and revisit that.
Naturally, as a farmer, I've got to go to the agricultural section and make sure I can see some where there's a few sheep showing and cattle cattle shows and whatnot.
So certainly I'll have my eye on those later on

Well, I like that. As a mixed up American, my ancestry is British and looks pretty Yorkshire- ish. But I apparently am Scottish, Irish German and Norwegian, so there's lots of music to explore.
North Yorkshire is FANTASTIC, the part where I live, West, is now ruined... you'll probably be able to work out why.

I’m just indulging in a trip down memory lane, a long trip. We, in north Durham sang this at school, along with My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean. I feel I’m privileged to live in a part of the country where we are all proud of our heritage. I feel blessed that I was given an education.
