This show had no right to be so amazing. I loved every minute of it just like I love the games. I think it's one of the best video game adaptions ever put to screen, in my opinion. I think Pedro and Bella fit the roles of Joel and Ellie perfectly and I'm so nervously excited for Season 2.

I really liked the parallels you drew here to present the struggles and arcs these characters go through. I'm SO familiar with the game's story, that I sort of felt numb watching weekly from episode 4 onward despite I could see how fantastically produced this show is. You highlighted its emotional strengths here, so thanks for helping me experience a taste of that with this show version! I may binge every episode now to try maximise this effect.

OH. MY. GOD. Okokok I’ve watched this about 547 times already and I cannot get enough of this masterful edit you’ve put together. You did not disappoint, you actually exceeded my expectations AS ALWAYS. This deservesa breakdown (something I never do but fuck it, you deserve it). I mean look at the start, 0:17… “I found a way to catch that feel good” as it shows a happy moment between Joel and Sarah. Just perfect, its such a good way to set up the video. 0:32-0:37 oooofff great parallels of good ol Joel laying down. And it’s not forced either, it flows so well. You could say that about the entire video and the rest of your videos that you create. OH THIS RIGHT 0:41 “fires been burning since 93” AS IT SHOWS AN ACTUAL FIRE. Just- Mm I love it. Its so simple yet so effective. And the shot at 0:45 works so well along with the other shot behind Joel and Ellie. Just to give you guys another example of how crazy smart this woman Heather is, she pointed out to me that the “fires been burning since 93” part can be parallel’d to the year the outbreak took place and the year Sarah died. And the “fires been burning” ever since then. Almost like Joel’s rage/hate has been ignited ever since that event took place. Like BRUH, how crazy is that? Heather you are a fuckin genius. Ok holy shit this part. 0:55 “to see what they saw back then” AHTJDSADFG THEN IT SHOWS JOEL LOOKING AT SOMEONE AND REMEMBERING WHEN SARAH. Then you cut to when Sarah got shot. That was phenomenal, nah like come on. Along with the “I was so afraid”… so damn emotional. That whole 10 second bit is *chefs kiss*. I cant get enough of it. I kept replaying it but its so damn sad, why you do dis to me. Then to make the sadness even worse you fade into a black and white WHILST HEARING SARAHS CRIES THEN JOEL IS DRINKING BECAUSE HES DEPRESSED LIKE BRUHHHHH. BRUH. This is amazing. The cries and Joels voice having that added reverb is just adding to the emotional feeling that you’ve casted on me. I feel Joels emptiness just oozing out of the screen. NOW THIS DID YOU GET OUT ALL THAT ANGRYY PASSIONNN!!! I’ve been singing this to myself ever since you sent me that sneak peak dayss ago, and Im glad to see you kept that section. The angry passion that Joel has felt ever since his daughter died. Hes taking it out on everyone. Ooofff. And its starting to torture him as you see the scars and injuries its leaving upon him, the broken hand. This song choice was insanely scarily amazingly accurate. And thats all thanks to you and your incredible awareness of the show and the song lyrics. TRAVELLING SO FAR TO GET THERE as it shows them driving towards their destination, you cant get anymore perfect. This song was made for TLOU, I’m convinced. You are doing gods work rn. PFFFT AYE, everyone go give this woman some love on patreon. She deserves it. “All just be here again” now I like to take this as, Joels in the same spot as he was with Sarah. Sooooo good omfg. Then you go onto create a fabulous showcase of emotional parts without any lyrics. It all connects together so well. Im so glad you included the “it wasn’t time that did it” quote because to me, that was the most powerful scene in the show so hugeee kudos for including it. And finally.. “you could put it all on me” AS IT SHOWS JOEL CLAPPING THE ENTIRE HOSPITAL. So masterfully created. So beautiful. Which is weird considering we’re talking about a guy massacring an entire hospital lmfao 😂 But it is. Now its at the end of video and Joel has finally caught that “feel good” with Ellie showcasing his happiness with Ellie. The same feeling he had with Sarah at the start if the video. God fuckin damnit why is is this so good? And I’m sorry but the little moment here where you synced the Ellie taps at 2:57 back to back. How did you think of this? It was PERFECT, every last minute detail. I replayed that little part a ridiculous amount if times. There was no wasted parts in this video. Every scene had a reason for being there. Thats what I love about your channel. I’ve learnt so much. You’ve inspired so many people, not just me. You deserve millions of subs. Your style of editing will never EVER be topped. You’ve been around for like, what? 11 years??? Bruh I pray to the editing gods that you’ll be editing for another 11 years, because these videos give me life. Thank you so much for blessing us with the best Last Of Us video. I will be watching this until I die.
