I'm trying to find out if you really need to chalk a jump cue. On one site it states "little to no chalk" but others say the opposite. I noticed that you never chalked your jump cue. So what do you recommend if one is using a standard phenolic tip? Also years ago this guy had a jump cue that he said you don't chalk as it had a hard rubber like tip but not phenolic. Have you ever seen this before as I've never seen this again since then?
I purchased a 12mm cue and all of a sudden shooting straight is a lot harder lol. Should I continue practicing with the 12mm or go back to something bigger?
Depends how good you want to get. 12mm isn’t that small, with practice you will be more accurate. 12mm will allow you to put more spin on the ball with less effort, but at the end of the day it’s pretty much just preference.
