I remember the first time I heard this song I was in a really dark place mentally and emotionally! Hardly coping with my two babies at the time. One was a Newborn and one was just 1 year old. I remember my baby father not helping me and I feeling exactly how she feels. Having to do it all on my own and feeling like I was literally at breaking point. A year later things changed so much! I am in a better place mentally, went back to education and my children are just fine without their dad and my family has been our rock! This song reminds me of how far I have come!

My single mom raised 6 kids by herself. 2 have graduated college, 1 in grad school studying medicine, 2 finishing undergrads, and 1 middle schooler who is on track to be better than the rest.
