Just shows the difference between the young generation and the old. Sadly, lots of older people from Lithuania, where I am from, never learned how to live in a free society. Also, I believe that the threshold for "being happy" might be a bit lower for the younger people as we grew up seeing our parents being pretty miserable. Still, I'm happy to see things moving in a positive direction! :)

White Castle and their southern competitor/"friend"; Crystals, are known for starting slider burgers or making them popular. Their popularity started off because you could get a regular burger's amount of meat spread over 2-4sliders for a lower price. More bread meant they were more filling. Their burgers are high in fat which means they are pretty greasy and as a child I hated them because they put (what felt like) a million onions on every burger. White Castle/Crystals are open very late into the night, with many being 24 hours. This led to them, and Taco Bell, becoming very popular with the bar scenes. You'd get done drinking and want to get some food in to soak up some of the alcohol, or you were just starving from a long night of partying. You could get a taco or a slider.
WC and Crystals are known to aid the digestive system very quickly. This is why their sandwiches became sliders. They slid right through from the mouth to the ejection seat.
I haven't eaten WC in over 30+ years because of how greasy and bad I always thought their burgers were. However, they are still going strong in the Mid-West.
Its weird how the world sees europe as good for living, and it actually is. But the people who are native to there, deny.

A little correction on the last map, that's not representing an increase expressed in %, but the 'water stress' in 2050, defined as a % of how much water the Country will need/use in respect to the total water there is in the country - I also imagine that depending on the local geography, you could have big problems long before reaching 100%, it's way easier to get water from the major lakes/rivers than to tap every last water reserve in the Nation.
