The diversity isn't something much to brag about as it just shows when our neighborhoods become profitable, the historically black residents/business are being displaced and as result suffocated.
It's not like money falls off the tree for us.
Same "diversity" is happening in dc and is one of thee worst things that's happened here.
Glad you're doing good, but for us as a people this gentrification is a problem as our going business are priced out of their own neighborhoods.
You're right, its gentrification at its finest. Definitely a real problem. Businesses need to be held accountable for their negative effects in the community in which they operate. I would argue that it should be required that businesses that have a certain percentage margin should do some social good for the community in which they operate in. However, sadly the issue is much deeper than this.
