Thanks much! Very helpful
You're welcome! Feel free to reach out if you're looking to buy/sell/invest 😄
If I lived on the western side of Philadelphia and had enough money I would move to phoenixville or Radnor they're the most scenic and if I lived on the Jersey side it would be haddonfield for walkability or if I wanted less traffic it would have been Medford lakes where everybody has a house on the lake. North of Philadelphia I would live in warminster or Warrington but if I had even more money it would be Newtown
thank you very much. The video very helpful
You're welcome 👍🏻👍🏻
Very helpful video 🙏🏿
Glad it provided value 👍🏻

I enjoyed the video.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for the support 🙏🏻
Grew up in the area and would consider retiring there if there was anything affordable.
Would love to help you with that. What are you looking for? Feel free to reach out!

Originally from Media/West Chester, worked in Chesterbrook and moved west to Oklahoma because it's much more affordable than the Philly area!
I have never been to Oklahoma. There are definitely some expensive areas in the Philly Suburbs but there are plenty that are affordable 😄
I lived in montgomeryville just about forever.. two years ago, moved to northern alabama. Get a lot more for your money, even utilities, trash, water, sewer, electric and gas combined is less than PECO.
@@karend5880yeah but then you have to live in Alabama
What about some of the nice NJ suburbs of Philadelphia?!?! And good luck getting into Swarthmore . . . its one of the top colleges in the country.
There are some nice suburbs in NJ just outside of Philadelphia. My channel, however, talks about all the suburbs in Pennsylvania to help people who are relocating to the state of PA near Philadelphia. I may start to add some NJ content in the future if that could be helpful for people on the fence of considering NJ vs PA.
I thought this too, places like Collingswood and Haddonfield are 15-20 minutes by train to Center City, much closer than any of the PA burbs.
I don't believe you stated how far Ardmore was from the center of PA. Thank you!
It is about 25-30 minutes from Center City Philly. 😄
Seems there's a few in Bucks county - new hope, Newtown, Doylestown, Yardley......
Bucks County has a lot of great suburbs. I currently live in Bucks County 👍🏻👍🏻
Grew up in upper Darby/glenolden
And Malvern? I was looking for a home for rent, around 1,700- 2,000, tops. I don't drive, would need to be near train etc
Older, single, no kids. Have pets. I love a wooded area. Quiet, yet near a town.
I lived in Plymouth Meeting back in the day, how is that place as a place to live now?
Plymouth Meeting is still a nice area. I was just at the Plymouth Meeting Mall the other day. Where did you end up moving to?
This is the Main Line, not just "suburbs." These areas are pricey.
They're very nice areas
What is your favorite suburb on this list?? Let me know in the comments 👇🏻👇🏻
Is the rent for a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom apartment?
It's the average rental amount. It factors in all 1, 2, 3 & 4 bedroom apartments/houses.
Are you looking for a rental?
What do you mean by, or what is mainline area?
The main line suburbs are the towns that run along Route 30. Berwyn, Ardmore, Wynnewood, Bryn Mawr, etc
The mainline references the railroad's main line going west out of Philly. Back in the day, most of the traffic went west towards Chicago and eventually California, so this was considered the main or primary line. Route 30 parallels the rail line.
It's in reference to the train they all centered around, formerly PRR's "Main Line", now SEPTA's Paoli-Thorndale line.
Stay outta Crabby Creek, a Bigfoot inhabits there. Hey I have a place here in Bucks County, Fairlesss Hills $259 k with an in ground pool.
With high taxes.
Do you sell land or building lots?
Yes I do! Do you have some you would like to sell or are you looking to buy a lot & build? I have experience in both areas and would love to help. My cell is 267-614-2101 for the quickest response or email me at phillysuburbsliving@gmail.com
Philly suburbs are superb especially for families, but showing Philly without Center City is like selling the bun without the hot dog!
👍🏻👍🏻
Bucks county has great places!
Yes it does! I just moved to Bucks County in June '23 but have been in the area my whole life 👍🏻👍🏻
@@livinginphiladelphiasuburbs right on!
Why didn’t you mention any public transit options in these areas? Not everyone needs or wants to drive.
Thank you for your comment! Septa is available in most areas around the Philadelphia Suburbs if you're needing public transportation via bus or train. There is also Uber & lyft as well 😄
@@livinginphiladelphiasuburbs so I just want to be clear; you highlighted the driving options but didn’t bother to highlight any public transit options. For example, Exton had a prominent regional rail station that connects you directly to Philadelphia without the mess of I76. Also Uber and Lyfts to these areas are at least 40-50 dollars one way. I live in one of the suburbs you highlighted, so I know first hand.
@@design-flux 👍🏻👍🏻
#8 k&a 😅
Good, just move to the Mainline. This'll keep the Mainline overpriced and some of the wonderful small communities, unaffected.
Devon? Luxury? Ahh hahahaha
Not a lot of real estate for sale in your top 2.
True. There's really not a lot of real estate for sale in general in most areas. Are you looking to purchase a home soon?
Too bad Connestorga's football team always sucks. lol
Swampmore?
Are you nuts?
